More than just a safari
My husband and I went on the 9 day safari tour through Victoria Falls and Botswana for our honeymoon. It was truly one of the best experiences of our lives and the best choice we could have made!
Starting from the beginning, Tatenda was extremely reliable and responded to all of my emails right away. He answered tons of my questions and helped me customize and add additional days on to the tour so we could make the tour just how we wanted.
Then to the tour itself, many of the other tours on safari bookings only include game drives, we chose this tour because it had a ton of variety and were so glad we did! Not only did we see a ton of animals and natural landscapes we also got a chance to do multiple boat rides, cultural experiences and a helicopter ride! Plus the hotels and food included were excellent! They even set up a special honeymoon poolside dinner for us as a surprise for free! Everything was prompt and reliable and they really went out of their way to do everything we wanted. We definitely got value for our money on this tour.
But now to the best part of our tour was our guide Simon! Simon was more than just a safari guide, he also became a friend and an ambassador to Africa as a whole. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable and explained not only the landscape but the history, culture, politics, and customs of all of Southern Africa. The warmth and humor of Africa totally shines through Simons personality and you can tell his passion for his job. We will remember this trip for the rest of our lives, thank you Tatenda, Simon, and Cuckoo Safaris!

Considerate and provide detail introduction
My guide Gitaui Samuel is a nice and considerate guy. He notice I am interested in taking photo for animal, so he actively asked me if I take enough photo in every spot. He also share lots of animal knowledge with me. I learnt so much from a two day trip. In addition, I choose a budge plan, but the stay is clean and nice. The host is nice and I enjoy the stay.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Aron, and I cannot express how grateful I am for his personal approach! Every interaction felt like a conversation with a dear friend. Aron meticulously attended to all our requirements, accommodated our budget, and seamlessly adapted to our hectic schedule. Unforgettable experience, very professional operator and guide
Me and my family went on a customized 8-day safari tour with African Big Cats on September. This was our first time in Africa and honestly everything went beyond our expectation. From the very start, the staff of Africa Big Cats Safaris was very quick to respond to every email I sent and the itinerary and price they offered are all very specific and reasonable. The manager was very kind and considerate and gave us a very helpful and detailed briefing after we arrived. Our guide Earnest is very professional, he's a good driver and he knows exactly what he's doing. We saw the big five, baby cheetahs feeding, a lot of big cats, we also saw the crossing, twice! Earnest is also a walking encyclopedia of animals and we learnt a lot from him. The accommodations and food were all very comfortable and satisfying. Overall I'd say this was an unforgettable experience and if I were to visit Tanzania again, I'd definitely choose to go with African Big Cats Safaris again:)

Amazing wildlife
We were a group of 5 colleagues who had some spare time at the end of our trip and decided we wanted to do a safari in the Masai Mara. I found Hyrax safaris and they were extremely responsive over what’s app which was really handy due to the time difference. Hyrax were good at sorting out our different room configurations and found us great quality accomodation at Sarova Mara. I would recommend the hotel, we had a room looking out over the reserve. We opted to be driven to the Mara (about 6 hours), I’m glad we did because we saw so much on the journey and there were plenty of stops to stretch your legs. Our guide Aaron was excellent, really knowledgeable and was also flexible about what times we did our drives. I enjoyed doing a full days drive as we saw so much but some of my colleagues found a whole day game drive a bit too much. I’m sure you’d be able to split it into two of you wanted. I would recommend using Hyrax safaris for your safari booking.
