We went on an 11-day safari and I can't imagine any of these days without our amazing guide, James. Jocky provided plenty of water and great accommodations. There were a few lodges I would recommend spending the higher tier pricing, but overall they were all great stays. Sweetwater in Olpejeta is a must-stay!

For many years I have wanted to go on a safari in an African country. I had whittled my list down to South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania. If you have ever priced a safari, they are somewhat expensive. I was looking for a two or three-day safari without elite housing, as most of my time was going to be spent outdoors. Karibu Safaris was an excellent fit when it came to value. Even though the housing accommodations were in a tent, I was surprised to have a mosquito net, shower and toilet. Meals were also included. It was not only a fantastic value, but the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Everything was exactly as advertised, from picking me up at my apartment to the return time in Nairobi. I highly recommend using Karibu Safaris in Kenya. You will not regret it.

Absolutely amazing experience!!
We went on an 11 day safari with Jocky Tours. Jocky tours was amazing to work with! We had been emailing back and forth for a year to set up our experience, and it did NOT disappoint! Jocky tours answered all of our questions and helped us through the entire planning process.
We requested our driver, James, and he was literally the best safari guide! He exceeded all of our expectations! He is very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife and the parks themselves! He got us the best views of the animals in each park, and we were able to experience rare sightings because of him and his experience! He was with us for 11 days, and he was always so happy, energetic, and excited! Seriously, one of the best experiences of my life!

James M is Jocky Safari!
Jocky Tours did a great job planning our trip via email. They were helpful in coming up with the perfect itinerary within our budget and picked some wonderful accommodations. But the real reason our Safari was so amazing was because of our tour guide, James M! Jocky is so lucky to have him as a guide because he made our trip amazing and I don’t believe everyone gets the same experience as we did. James went above and beyond to see all of the animals, accommodated our requests, and was a pleasure to get to know and be around. James made our trip what it was and we are really appreciative that we had him as our guide. He knew exactly where to go most of the time for the coolest and best animal experiences, always made sure we had the best shot for our photos, and was always ready to go to the next hot spot.
James was funny, patient, respectful, and seems to be loved by all of the other tour guides and lodging staff. We felt like James was part of our family. He made us feel safe and we are really going to miss him! If you have a chance to go on an adventure with James you will be so pleased. He truly is one of a kind!

James is the perfect blend of knowledge and fun
James was great. Two thumbs up for sure! We had great conversion with him while driving from location to location as his English is very good and easy to understand. We were on tour with him for 11 days and he never allowed it to get boring or drag on. Always keeping the mood of the trip light and fun. He has a lot of peers in the business and was able to locate and find all of the animals getting right on several groups of lion, cheetah, elephant etc. We genuinely missed him when the safari was over. Lodges provided by Jocky Tours were always nice and clean for the price.
Our guide Allen very knowledgeable regarding plants, birds, animals and nature. Really recommend him
We did a 4 day Safari visiting 3 different parks.
Firstly the company out did themselves with tailoring our Safari to our requirements, booking of lodges, arranging permits and overall making the experience as seamless as possible.
However what stood out for us was our guide Allen who has been in the industry for 13 years+ I would recommend him specifically as his knowledge of the animals ( their behavior, habits and general info ) was amazing and insightful. Also regarding the plants, seasons, birds and bugs he was very knowledgeable.
My wife and I will definitely book with this company and this guide again next year for an even longer Safari.

We chose to organize our Safari with Savannah Explorers after searching thongs on the internet. Never was the choice more apt! Floriana our agent listened and understood what we wanted for our Safari in Tanzania from the very first moment, organizing in every detail the trip that will always remain in our hearts. Thanks to her organization we visited the 4 parks of northern Tarangire, Lake Maniara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro plus a chic stay in Zanzibar to enjoy a splendid beach in Matemwe. Communications with Ibrahim were really pleasant, he's replying really quickly and that's appreciable. He answered all of my questions and responded to all of my needs. The planning fitted perfectly what we asked for and everything was great. The driver and guide, Hassan, was very helpful, patient, kind and he explained us lots of things about animals. Thanks to Ibrahim and Hassan, we enjoyed a lot our safari in Mikumi, the car was very confortable with fresh water and other needed things. I recommend this company, everything was great :) the lodge was nice, and Hassan our guide adapted the planning to my wife and me. Assante sana !
