Amazing!
5/5

This was truly the holiday of a lifetime! Vanessa removed all the stress of planning and designed an amazing holiday for me and my family! We visited Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru, the Massai Mara and Diani Beach, and saw something new at each destination.
Our guide and driver, George, was a real expert in the art of finding wildlife, I had not expected to see so many birds and animals and George was also able to tell us all about each of them, which really enhanced the experience. I had been a bit concerned about some of the long drives involved in seeing so many different places but in fact the time flew by and George was an excellent driver, expertly negotiating some pretty rough roads!!
The accommodation was excellent and the people so friendly and welcoming, it was lovely to be greeted with a cool drink and a hot flannel after each safari.
The trips Vanessa had organised for us were great, a boat trip on Naivasha lake where we saw hippos and many different birds, again our guide for the trip knew everything there was to know about the wildlife we saw. This was followed by a guided walk among the giraffes, zebra, waterbuck, gazelles and more, and our guide's passion for the wildlife was very apparent. The balloon ride was awesome, and the picnics were wonderful.
I cannot recommend Spirit of Kenya highly enough. Thank you Vanessa for making our holiday an amazing experience.

Excellent from beginning to end
5/5

Max enthusiasm passion and knowledge cannot be surpassed, even when we asked about the local birds he delighted in telling us about them.
He went above and beyond to seek out the illusive lion and didn’t disappoint.
Our 2 day safari went seamlessly from planning to execution. Such good value for money, after 2 days with Max I feel as if I have a new friend. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Mt Kenya 4 day, 10/10!
5/5

We just finished the 4 day Mt Kenya trek. Our guide was Jimmy, who couldn't be better recommended. Jimmy was very knowledgeable, helpful and when things got tough near the summit he came to rescue with warm gloves. Thanks Jimmy and team!

Both our tour operators were committed to making every wish happen.
5/5

I signed up for this tour several years ago and for various reasons, the actual departure date had to be rescheduled several times, so I was feeling a little apprehensive about the tour now that I was older and the initial excitement had begun to turn to a little anxiety about going someplace so very foreign to any travel I had ever done before--I need not have worried. Go Touch Down has their tours down to a science, and the people they employ and/or work with are excellent in every way. From the tour guides who stayed with us for every part of the Cape Town week and the Safari week to the staff at the Go Touch Down properties where we stayed, I felt cared for and sincerely welcomed. The itinerary was packed in Cape Town and yet we never felt rushed at any venue; the pace was a little more relaxed on the safari week as we had some down time between the game drives. The accommodations were first rate and comfortable--a special shout out to Shark Bay and Humala River Lodge, which became personal favorites. The food, whether at the hotels/game reserves or at local restaurants was beautifully plated, delicious and bountiful with ample opportunities to sample South African cuisine. We saw amazing things! The variety of experiences was mind-boggling. The ancient history from visiting fossil parks and first people educational centers to the more recent history of apartheid struggles was interspersed with delicious samplings of wine and cheeses at old world wineries. And, of course, the animal encounters were spectacular, whether it was privately owned game reserves, different animal sanctuaries (where we actually interacted with lion cubs, elephants, panthers, caracals, monkeys), national parks, or visits to island or coastal habitats. The scenery was diverse and gorgeous--breathtaking more days than not. But I have to come back to the people, the staff, the hosts, the bartenders; everyone was so nice, so friendly, so genuinely happy to see us and I have to say this is probably the best tour I have ever taken. The trip as a whole was the most expensive I have ever taken and I wondered whether I would think I had gotten value for my investment. The answer is a definite YES. In fact, given the quality of lodging, excursions, food, and experiences, I believe Go Touch Down was a bargain. Since my return I have promoted them to friends and family and I plan to use them when I take my grandsons in a few years.

Dream fulfilled
5/5

Africa never ceases to amaze you. I never thought that at 22 I might have the chance to go on a safari in Africa.

Today, after thanking God for this wonderful experience, I can only say that dreams come true.

Before doing the Safari, I asked many colleagues and friends where I could have and do the best safari. a great friend told me that he had done many Safaris in his life and that the best one was the Masai Mara. So I started to find out and for things of destiny I met Axis Africa Safari.

I went on a 3-day safari and I’m very impressive. Time flew by. I got to see the beautiful elephans, the authentic zebras and giraffes, the respectful Lion King, the skilful leopard and the cunning Cheetah. I saw them not only resting in the park but in action. in their daily life. simply FACINATING ✨ really happy with the experience

Top Notch Tour Operator
5/5

We booked a 3-day trip with pick up in Nairobi and drop-off at Mombasa. We went to Amboseli and Tsavo. We had a great experience from the first communication to the drop off at our final destination. Our driver did his best to find as many animals as possible and was very knowledgeable about both parks we visited. Would definitely book through Bienvenido again

A crew of professionals!
5/5

The safari was part of our honeymoon trip, and everything from start to finish was perfect. Months before the trip I have worked with Daniel on tailoring the itinerary and agreeing on the details. He was very responsive, and communication was easy.
Upon arriving to Nairobi we were greeted by Phylis, took a photo and were introduced to James who was going to be our driver and guide for the coming days. James is the nicest and most professional guy I’ve ever had on any kind of trip. He was responsive, patient to answer all of my many questions about the things we were seeing along the road and the animals on safari. James was punctual, kind and delivered everything that was promised. We’ve always felt safe with him driving us around, and I honestly couldn’t expect how smooth and punctual everything was going to be and according to plan. You can tell these guys are working hard to give you the best possible experience and it was super appreciated.
It was our honeymoon so Daniel recommended the best lodges to stay on the trip to get the best possible experience even beyond the wildlife. Sopa Lodge on Naivasha Lake and Sarova Lion Hill in Nakuru are pure luxury and completely justify the higher price tag.
The wildlife viewing was also great and thrilling. We managed to see 4 of the big 5 (except the elusive leopard), here I try to compile the a list:
Naivasha: zebra, antelopes, waterbugs, monkeys, hippoes, giraffes
Nakuru: zebra, wild boar, buffalo, flamingos (thousands of them), rhinos, hippoes, pelicans, lion
Masai Mara: zebra, wild boar, giraffe, hyena, lions (really close), elephants (a whole herd), wildebeest, hippoes, crocodile, meercats, and jackals
If you tell James which animals you are most interested in seeing, he will make an extra effort to try and find them (all vehicles in the parks have radio connection so they can notify each other where which animals have been spotted).
At the end of our trip, before dropping us off at our hotel in Nairobi, we’ve agreed with James to take us to the elephant sanctuary and giraffe center in Nairobi, and I would say especially the elephant sanctuary is an unmissable wildlife experience, but beware that tour needs to be booked in advance and visits are daily only between 11AM and noon.
Kenya is a wonderful country with wonderful people, and it was sad to say goo bye to James, and leave the amazing experiences we’ve had behind. I can not recommend the Meektrails crew enough to help you organize and take you for your safari trip in Kenya.

Perfect tailor made safari experience
5/5

Choosing SUNSET ADVENTURE SAFARI for our trip has been a perfect match. The flexibility, efficiency and patience of Emma working with us to design the perfect itinerary, together with the knowledge of the team on the ground has made the booking process easy and motivating. They listen to you, but also advise and recommend from their experience that it´s what you expect when you decide to hire and agency. Once on the ground, the different guides we have met, Sele, GoodLuck have performed incredibly fine showing their passion, knowledge and experience about what they do, providing a great safari experience. So happy with our decision of choosing Sunset! We´ll repeat, for sure. Asante sana Emma, Elibariki, Godfrey, Sele, GoodLuck... and all the team!

Excellent safari&beach experience with Mama savana
5/5

My wife and I, after our memorable trip to Kenya decided to visit wild life and beach of beautiful Tanzania. I found a lot of travel agencies in safaribookings.com with a broad range of quality and cost. I connected to a few of them and explain our favourites and budget. Finally, I found Mama Savana as a reliable travel agency who are able to meet our requirements with reasonable price. I communicated with Alex Kenga by WhatsApp for arranging our trip itinerary. I sent a lot of messages to him for every details and he answered all the messages very quickly with valuable information. Finally, he arranged a 3 nights beach trip to Zanzibar and 5 nights safari to Lake Manyara, Tarangire, central and south Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
We, as Iranian passport holders needed visa grant before arriving Tanzania. Alex helped us for the purpose and we could receive the visa grant quickly. Because of US sanctions against Iran, we were not able to money transfer before traveling. Alex accepted to receive money in cash in Tanzania. After 3 nights accommodation and tour in Zanzibar and a domestic flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, we met our safari guide/driver in hotel both for reviewing our safari schedule and money payment. Thank you Alex for trusting us.
The most outstanding advantage of our trip was Allen as our safari guide. Allen applied some small changes in the safari schedule for promoting quality of safari . Allen is a very kind and patient guide/driver with excellent knowledge about nature, history, local culture and animals. He drives safely and does his best to find animals during safari. We saw all big 5 and a lot of more animals and wildlife because of high experience of Allen and his high level commitment. Thank you Allen for your efforts.
Quality of all lodges and tented camps was exactly same as our expectation and even more.
Lunch boxes in 5 days safari were same, we expected more variety. But it was not an important issue in comparison with some very positive points of our whole trip.
