First rate experience
An African safari vacation for most people is the trip of a lifetime. It is exotic, distant and potentially quite expensive. Alice Lombard, with Discover Africa, curated and oversaw a perfect itinerary for us throughout Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Our camps, hotels, guides and transfers were outstanding. Every aspect of our travel was seamless and problem free. We were completely satisfied. When we return to Africa, we will absolutely use Discover Africa once again. We could not have been in more capable hands.

Perfect
Patrick from Mmilo Tours organized for us a six days tour starting with the cradle of humanity and then moving towards the Kruger Park for a several day's Safari. Our guide was Anton Joubert.
Patrick organized the trip brilliantly. He was very keen to listen to our wishes and last-minute changes. Our daughter caught Corona the day before departure, but Patrick rearranged all the accommodations free of charge. As a result, we postponed the trip, and on the second attempt, everything went smoothly.
Anton was there to pick us up at the airport and took terrific care of us. His car is perfectly maintained and clean, and he is very knowledgeable. He took us through the Panorama route and entertained us with a lot of information on the culture and economy of South Africa. He always ensured we were on time and could enjoy each sight the best way possible.
We stayed at the Mjejane Lodge for the Safari, which was fantastic. The food was delicious, the room very spacious, and the guides for the Safari managed to show us all the big five plus lots of other things. We all enjoyed our time there.
If you are considering booking a Safari in South Africa, Mmilo Tours is the way to go. Again, you are in good hands with Patrick.
PS: On the first night, we stayed in Dullstroom at the Highlander. This place was great, and the food was exquisite.

Magic expérience with Suricata safari
Everything was truly perfect! Smooth airport pickup by Mister T. Clear and reassuring breafing from Ally. And incredible safari with our Guide Rocky with whom we spent 5 unforgettable days.
In addition to being professional, friendly, human, competent and funny, he allowed us to see incredible things. (circulate among dozens of elephants, experience the migration of wildebeest and zebras up close, approach dozens of lions resting in the afternoon or feeding in the early morning, see the rare rhinos still existing, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles or even the inaccessible Leopard…)

Chasing sunsets and seeing the ‘Big 5’
Wow! Wow is a word we said over and over again throughout our safari with Gerry. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Western and Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater during our time, as well as Arusha and Karatu. Gerry picked us up and dropped us off on time, and he was always a safe and competent driver. We called him the ‘Number 1 Sunset-Chaser’, as he always managed to get us in the best spots to watch the sun go down, and he was always on the lookout for the animals. He understood and listened to our love of big cats, and we were fortunate enough to see lions with cubs, lions and leopards sleeping in trees, lions hunting, cheetah and cubs, serval and caracal cats. This safari in Tanzania enabled us to see more than we ever had before. Thank you Gerry for keeping us safe and giving us such a wonderful experience with memories to treasure. Booking with Savannah Explorers was simple and easy, and everything went as planned. I would definitely recommend this company and especially Gerry as a guide.

James is the only guide I will explore Africa with & highly recommend requesting him.
We went on an 11-day safari and I can't imagine any of these days without our amazing guide, James. Jocky provided plenty of water and great accommodations. There were a few lodges I would recommend spending the higher tier pricing, but overall they were all great stays. Sweetwater in Olpejeta is a must-stay!

Very fair and efficient.
For many years I have wanted to go on a safari in an African country. I had whittled my list down to South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania. If you have ever priced a safari, they are somewhat expensive. I was looking for a two or three-day safari without elite housing, as most of my time was going to be spent outdoors. Karibu Safaris was an excellent fit when it came to value. Even though the housing accommodations were in a tent, I was surprised to have a mosquito net, shower and toilet. Meals were also included. It was not only a fantastic value, but the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Everything was exactly as advertised, from picking me up at my apartment to the return time in Nairobi. I highly recommend using Karibu Safaris in Kenya. You will not regret it.

Absolutely amazing experience!!
We went on an 11 day safari with Jocky Tours. Jocky tours was amazing to work with! We had been emailing back and forth for a year to set up our experience, and it did NOT disappoint! Jocky tours answered all of our questions and helped us through the entire planning process.
We requested our driver, James, and he was literally the best safari guide! He exceeded all of our expectations! He is very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife and the parks themselves! He got us the best views of the animals in each park, and we were able to experience rare sightings because of him and his experience! He was with us for 11 days, and he was always so happy, energetic, and excited! Seriously, one of the best experiences of my life!

James M is Jocky Safari!
Jocky Tours did a great job planning our trip via email. They were helpful in coming up with the perfect itinerary within our budget and picked some wonderful accommodations. But the real reason our Safari was so amazing was because of our tour guide, James M! Jocky is so lucky to have him as a guide because he made our trip amazing and I don’t believe everyone gets the same experience as we did. James went above and beyond to see all of the animals, accommodated our requests, and was a pleasure to get to know and be around. James made our trip what it was and we are really appreciative that we had him as our guide. He knew exactly where to go most of the time for the coolest and best animal experiences, always made sure we had the best shot for our photos, and was always ready to go to the next hot spot.
James was funny, patient, respectful, and seems to be loved by all of the other tour guides and lodging staff. We felt like James was part of our family. He made us feel safe and we are really going to miss him! If you have a chance to go on an adventure with James you will be so pleased. He truly is one of a kind!

James is the perfect blend of knowledge and fun
James was great. Two thumbs up for sure! We had great conversion with him while driving from location to location as his English is very good and easy to understand. We were on tour with him for 11 days and he never allowed it to get boring or drag on. Always keeping the mood of the trip light and fun. He has a lot of peers in the business and was able to locate and find all of the animals getting right on several groups of lion, cheetah, elephant etc. We genuinely missed him when the safari was over. Lodges provided by Jocky Tours were always nice and clean for the price.
