Big cats safari is great because it is private and completely planned around your schedule and preferences. We had the absolute best time with our guide, Lord! The animals were right next to our jeep and it was truly the experience of a life time! Justice made planning the trip so easy and we are so grateful for the both of them! We also did a hot air balloon over the Serengeti which was the most beautiful and breathtaking experience ever! Thank you so much big cat safari for a trip I will never forget! I will recommend this company to everyone!

I had the pleasure of doing a tour with Noel when I last visited Tanzania earlier this year. He is an incredibly kind and genuine person, and a fantastic and knowledgable guide. He and his colleagues really go the extra mile for their guests, and can give a fantastic insight into the culture and history of Tanzania!

Well organised and responsible.
My fiance and I booked the all inclusive VIP Package. After getting some initial information, and after many comparisons with other recommended Safari Tours Companies, I chose Gilmag Safaris. The staff is very knowledgeable and the best part was Vivian who was helping us craft our trip was very responsive- usually emailing back within 30 minutes or less.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport we were warmly welcomed and driven to our hotel at the foot of kilimanjaro mountain. Our resort was all inclusive and we had nothing to worry about.
The places chosen to stay were terrific- the Camp/Lodges are right in there in the most pristine and central regions of the National parks, and very-well maintained and full of the most delicious food and terrific hospitality. Great choices made by Gilmag Safaris!!!
My favourite, being the Ngorongoro National Park with its evergreen trees and stunning breathtaking views. The other places were also really great. We had an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide, Gilbert who taught us so much about the parks, animals and the birds. What a fantastic time we had! If this is your one and only opportunity to visit Tanzania, don't even hesitate about paying extra for safari because it is absolutely worth it.
As a conclusion I would say that I strongly recommend Gilmag Safaris. They are fabulous company; well-run, and clearly cares about customers and their satisfaction.

Amazing 3-week safari in Botswana
We had a lovely safari through Botswana, organised by Fleet Foot Safari, guided by the owner Hennie. From the pre-booking until the end of the trip all was so good organized by his staff and by Hennie himself !!! He cooks like a chef, his sense of humour is great, his knowledge about fauna, flora and wildlife is amazing !!! we enjoyed it so much and we recommend Fleet Foot Safaris for a trip in Botswana, Namibia and South Africa !!!

No royal over this, only scam!
Me and my boyfriend went to Tanzania to go to a safari. We had used so many hours finding the best deal.
We wrote a lot with the man John, and we agreed with the price 1125usd pr pax.
We paid for a flight to Arusha, and accommodation before the safari.
12 hours (at 8pm) before the safari started, John came to the place we stayed, saying he wanted 2000usd pr pax more!! He said he didn’t knew that the price of the national parks had changed because of high season.
We discussed a lot, and the only alternatives he could give us, where worse accommodations and we still had to pay 45usd more!!
When we didn’t agreed with this, because we had a deal on 1125usd, the only option he said was to canceled the trip.
1 day before the trip got cancelled he told us we had to pay for the safari, so we made a bank transaction to him.
When we wanted our money back because he cancelled the trip, we could not have all the money back, because he didn’t want to pay the transaction fee (that we had payed, so he could get the money quick). So the only option was that we had to pay for the fee to get some of our money back!
Afterwards we found out that the price change caused by high season, was something everybody in Tanzania knew about and had known for several month, so it was a total scam that he said didn’t knew, he only wanted more money!
Worst experience ever! Don’t book safari with the company!

Worst safari experience thinkable
Me and my girlfriend went to Arusha, where we had planned a 4 day safari to 1125 USD per person - we got picked up at the airport, everything was very nice.
We had agreed on a private tour with some good accommodation, and we thought it was a good deal. at 8 PM the day just before safari, John, the guy we had discussed the price with, wrote a message to me on WhatsApp saying that we should talk.
He got to our hotel and said that we wouldn't be able to do the safari with the accommodation that we had agreed on, if we wanted to do the safari we would have to pay 200 USD more..
Of course we didn't wanna do that since we agreed to a certain price.
John tried to make some alternatives, where the accommodation would be a bit worse, and we still had to pay 45 USD more, even tho the places were significally worse.
We took all the way to Arusha/Kilimanjaro just for the safari, that we already paid 2250 USD for.
We didn't come to any agreement and therefore we both decided it would be best to just cancel the safari. John didn't want to transfer the money back to us, as the fees for international travel would cost him money, and withdrawing the money would be 1.44% that WE had to pay, even tho it was him screwing the safari.
We therefore only got 2217 USD back, and not the full 2250 USD.
We really felt like being scammed, and would therefore not recommend this company to anyone.
Best part of the whole experience was getting the 2217 USD back.
In total we spent 111 USD getting to Arusha and paying the fee for international money transfer, just for the safari to be cancelled.
And still John didn't want to pay the 1.44% that the cash withdrawel would cost.
I recommend to find another operator.

Amazing experience
4 days maasai Mara with Axis Africa Safaris was awesome.especially with Khalif who was our tour guide.He was jovial and knowledgeable about wildlife. I enjoyed his stories and mostly how he was patient with everyone.as u know,there were people from different cultures with different behaviours. It takes only a patient person to understand them .
I like how organised and well communicated Axis Africa expedition is.,with great services in general.

An authentic safari experience - down to earth luxury delivered with passion and a smile!
Our ten-day Moremi safari with Isa and his hard-working team - Tour, our splendid cook aided by his assistant Tina; Kevin and Culture who set up our tents with en-suite showers and loos at each of our three camps; and last not least Kayzer, who was our second tour guide - was just what we had hoped for: an authentic bush experience that provided for a fascinating diversity of animal and bird sightings, scenery, game drives and tented safari pleasures. Isa and Kayser took all eleven of us in two vehicles for a 4-5 hour game drive every morning and every afternoon, followed by cocktails and a delicious safari dinner. And of course comfortable nights in our cozy tents with all the noises of the wild around us from dusk to dawn! Our birders spotted some 130 species in ten days (quite a lot for the winter season) and there were plenty hippos, elefants, lions, leopard, wild dogs, hyena, crocs, antelope and lots and lots of expert information shared by our two tour guides. - If you are looking for an authentic safari experience with a wild edge, then this is it: you'll be in good hands and with a fun crew!
