Fantastic experience, everything was great!!!
We went on a 6 day Safari visiting Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was an exceptional experience for all of us and especially for my 10-year-old daughter. Everything has been studied and organized by Soul of Tanzania in a perfect way. All the camps they chose for the overnight stay were above our expectations and Albert (our super prepared guide) was very good at taking us to the savannah and patient to show us animals, birds and plants explaining everything about them. To redo!! I especially thank Marta for the availability and promptness of her email responses during the organization of the tour.

What a wonderful week we spent on our Lion King safari! Having waited for 2 years from our original plan we must firstly thank Pendo for the great customer service and for arranging everything for us. All advise was great and the time taken in accommodation selection and booking was a point of difference from other companies we were considering.
On arrival we were met as planned and smoothly transferred to our first hotel. The following day we met our guide, Peter, who is now our friend Peter! Over the next 6 days we were treated to the most amazing experience. All 4 parks we visited (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro) had unique moments that were found and explained perfectly by Peter - who would have thought that we would leave knowing a lot more about geology, ecology and biology as well as zoology! Highlights would be the close up encounter with 2 Cheetah cubs and their relaxed mother, the pack of baby lion cubs, the incredible experience of the immediate aftermath of a lion kill with the supporting cast (hyenas and vultures) waiting patiently for their turn and the 2 separate sightings of rhinos in the Serengeti. But every hour had the most incredible moments and Peter’s obvious love and knowledge of these biospheres added immensely to the enjoyment (as well as his incredible eyesight!)
Thanks to everyone at Lion King for these wonderful memories and I can only recommend you hugely to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania.
Oh, and you will also be the envy of every other group around at lunch time - the “picnics” are actually fantastic meals that you eat in the most amazing locations, just beware of mongeese!

Perfect - knowledgeable guides, great food
Just perfect - we had an amazing four day safari. Saw the big five, thanks to our awesome guide Rocky, and we had the best food - thanks to our chef Ben! Would definitely recommend this company - zero trouble, and everything was organised perfectly!!

Vincent was the highlight of our safari
Vincent was our driver guide for our entire safari. He was excellent. He had animal GPS on himself and always find the lion, leopard before other drivers. We always find the best spot to observe the animals also. He is simply the best part of the safari aslo. We saw all kinds of animals. About our hotels, they were great! We had no complain at all, they are all luxury. We are glad we picked a reliable safari company!

We have been to many countries, and this is the best tour I have ever had!
Everything was perfect from day 1 to day 10. We visited all famous parks in the country and it was all great experience!

Genuine, fun and hilarious!!
I went on a safari in June of this year with my family. Jimmy was our tour guide and he was AWESOME!
Jimmy picked us up from Nairobi and drove us to the camp. Along the way bringing us to the Masai village and showing us interesting things during the drive there.
The Safari was amazing! We saw the Big Five! Jimmy really went out of his way to make sure we had a good time had time to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, all the animals. I always felt comfortable and safe with Jimmy and looked forward to seeing his smile in the morning before we went on another adventure.
I would definitely recommend Bonfire Adventures and ask for Jimmy!!

Great cultural and scenic experience
I loved my experience in Tanzania mostly for the fact that the locals are the only ones leading the tours and expeditions. I felt like I had a more genuine experience because the hotels, guides, drivers, and porters were all native to the country and there was a lot of open communication about their experiences and perspectives. Plus their hospitality and expertise were incomparable. Everything worked out without a hitch and I have nothing but respect and admiration for the country and its people.
I went on a Safari in the Serengeti and climbed Kilimanjaro and I felt very well taken care of the entire time.
Also, the food was always fantastick.
