Magnificent, profound trip made possible by amazing TCS owners, guides and drivers!
TCS helped LJ, MJ & DJ accomplish an ambitious, jam-packed itinerary - accommodating all of our interests into a magnificent, thrill-of-a-lifetime trip. Cousins Noah and Leslie were our expert drivers/guides around Arusha, our home base in between safari drives and private trips to Dar-es-Salaam and Mbeya. Owners Brenda & Kakasii were top-notch in assisting with all of the TZ in-country flights and navigations! Our First Safari: Great Rift Valley flyover from Arusha to the remote Heritage Camp to see the Great Migration at the Mara River. Expert Guide Victor picked us up at Kogatende Airstrip and away we went, including 2 migration crossings in 2 days! He had fantastic radio communication w/fellow guides and "intuitive expertise," locating animals in remote locations after morning kills: a pride of lions resting on rocks, a lone leopard up in a tree, a weary cheetah with extended full belly within close site of vultures fighting and feeding off the carcass. Victor was amazing, sharing all of our joy and excitement for animal and bird sitings! Our second drive was led by kind, wise Guide Joseph, equally adept at finding animals and birds. This intermediate birder added over 75 TZ birds to her life list as well as seeing the 'Big Five'! Excursions with Joseph: Oldupai Gorge Museum visit, including a drive down to see the actual site of the Leakey's archealogical dig; drive out to Shifting Sands; drive into Ngorongoro Crater and an added drive to Tarangire National Park, graciously arranged by Brenda. While at our accommodations in Ngorongoro Conservation Area at the hillside Tortilis Camp nestled amongst Maasai villages, we were treated to song and dance by the whole staff. The warm TZ people at Heritage, Tortilis and TCS made our experience so rewarding and enriched our lives with their expertise in animals, birds, geology, culture and life!!!

Unique experience
We choose the budget 6 days safari incl. Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. Masai Mara and Amboseli was really incredible. We will never forget this experience. Due to water level increase not all Roads in NP Nakuru can be used.
Your experiences will highly depend on the Tour guide. We couldnt Image a better guide than Ben. Make sure you will get him as well.
Honestly, for us it makes no sense to book a luxury safari. You will spend most of the time in the NP … and there it makes no difference.
Very professional and attentive
Everything was really great, our guide very nice and knowledgeable, and always seemed able to spot the most elusive animals. Great driving, the kids really enjoyed it even though it was a lot of driving for them.
The food was absolutely great - I can't figure out how he managed to pull off so much delicious cooking in such short times...
We did the 5-day Tarengire / 2-day Serengeti / Ngorongoro / Lake Manyara tour. The last day in Lake Manyara was a little unlucky as we didn't see anything there, but Serengeti and Ngorongoro were absolutely stunning. I might recommend trading it for one more day in Serengeti.
The team did everything to accommodate our demands (e.g. a slightly early flight on the last day, and retrieving a camera lens cap I forgot in one of the accommodations) and was very keen to hear feedbacks and improvement suggestions.

Fantastic Safari at Nyerere/Selous National park!
We went on a 3 day Safari on 22, 23 and 24 of December 2022, it was great and well organized from the beginning. Justin from Shammah Wonders Safari provided all the details and support before we booked, great service before, during and after the trip. On Day 1 picked up at our hotel in Zanzibar for an early flight to Selous. At arrival, our guide/driver Ely Hachim was waiting for us. Ely was amazing: he was so kind, flexible, great service and game drives! We saw so many animals (elephants, hippos, buffalo, giraffe, lion, zebra, wildebeast, monkeys, crocodiles etc) and learned a lot from Ely. Especially our 6 year old son loved his stories about the nature (we saw a Baobab tree of 2000 yrs old) and animals. We also really enjoyed the walking safari with Ely and the Masai. The boat safari was interesting and gave us a different view from the river. Also here we spotted hippos and crocodiles. In summary, really great service, guide and tour at Nyerere/Selous National park! Thanks so much Ely and Justin from making our dreams come true! Asanti San!

Julius Tac Safarin is best
Hello we have done the 3rd safari with Julius Tac and have always been super satisfied. Our last safari was in December 2022, 8 days (Masai Mara, Nskuru and Samburu) The wildlife was absolutely fantastic, the accommodation was top class and our driver/guide George was the best you can have. He was very knowledgeable and always helpful. We will certainly do safari again with Julius and can give the best recommendations for him.

Exceeds expectations
We were picked up from our resort by our guide- Khalid in a timely manner. He has a lot of knowledge about national parks, conservation areas, animal and bird species- which he willingly shared with us. Our first day included drop off to the forest hill resort. The resort was great and we had a good time there. Next day we started on our safari from Lake Manyara national Park. Here we saw many animals very close to our jeep- lions, elephants, zebra, impalas, giraffes, agama lizard, water buck, antelopes, wild buffalo, baboons, blue monkeys etc. Khalid was great and knew the spots where wildlife park would be most likely found. We stayed in the twiga campsite on this first day. The campsite was very safe and had access to shared toilets with hot water facility for a shower. The tents themselves were very spacious and comfortable. We also had a chef- vittoris who prepared tasty vegetarian/ vegan food for us! On the second day we went to the Ngorongoro crater. This is an amazing place with a diversity of animals and birds to be found- many many zebra, elephants, wildebeest, lions, vultures, ostrich, flamingos, etc. We also spotted the rare black rhino. We wished we could’ve spent some more time here. After lunch by the hippo pool, we left to go to Serengeti National park. There on the game drive, we saw a leopard at very close quarters. We saw it eat it’s prey, climb up and down the tree. We spent around 30-45 minutes close to the leopard. We also saw some more wildlife, and migration of wildebeest, and an amazing sunset before heading home for the day. We camped at a public campsite on this second day, glad to have seen the big 5 with only 2 days into the safari. The public campsite was a little scary compared to the one we had been at the previous day- because it was right inside the national park. It also attracted a lot of insects near light sources which was scary to me, though my friends were unfazed. The toilet facilities were also very very basic with no hot water and limited lighting. Though this is understandable because of it being inside the national park. Next day, we went for a game drive in the Serengeti. The highlight of the day was to see cheetahs- one of them right in front of our car. And we also saw a leopard with 2 cubs- though we weren’t able to capture their photos/ videos because they were very quick. We also saw a lot of other wildlife really close. We returned to the same campsite after the sunset. Next day we packed our tents for our last day at Serengeti. We saw leopards, prides of lions, lion cubs, and other wildlife. We then headed back to the twiga campsite which is a long drive from Serengeti. Throughout the whole trip, Khalid coordinated with other guides through his radio to find out where wildlife was spotted and drove us quickly to that location- which was why we were able to spot everything that we wanted to look at and more. On the last day, we went to Tarangire national park- which is known as elephant and bird paradise. We saw many many groups of elephants of all ages doing various activities. We also saw more than 25-30 varieties of birds and Khalid was very knowledgeable about all these birds as well. He also spotted birds before we could and showed it to us and stopped so we could picture it. Overall, this trip exceeded all expectations and I would really recommend this to anyone. I would specifically recommend asking for Khalid to be the guide as well because he has a lot of experience and is very accommodating. We also enjoyed listening to and discussing Bollywood songs/ movies with Khalid who is a Shah Rukh Khan fan!

Just wow!!
'Karibu Rafiki' which means 'Welcome my friend' is not only said, but lived by the guys from Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club. From the first minute we got along great with our guides Alex and Gasper, who picked us up from the airport. After an overnight stay in the lodge in Arusha, we set off with 2 land cruisers to the Tarangeri National Park. After long planning and lots of friends, the time had finally come. We saw zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, ostriches, gazelles, pumbas and of course elephants, bulls, jaguars and lions. We loved it! We always felt safe with Alex, we received a lot of information about animals, the country and culture, and of course we couldn't miss one or the other Swahili lesson. In the following days we visited the Serengeti National Park for 2 days, slept in luxury lodges in the middle of the park and were allowed to hear the sound of the Serengeti. On the 4th day of the safari we were allowed to visit the picturesque Ngorogoro Crater, which can only be described with one word 'WOW'. The next day we visited a local coffee farmer, who introduced us to his way of making coffee and invited us to a traditional lunch. Saying goodbye at the airport was very difficult. It was an incredibly intense time that we will always remember. I would like to thank Alex and Gasper from the bottom of my heart and I hope that many more people will be able to experience Tanzania like we did!
