Excellent tour with Axis
5/5

We asked Axis to organize for us a tour composed by a 7 days safari and 5 days in Diani Beach.
Everything has been perfect, the communications with Rita before e during the trip, the camps and lodges and expecially the drivers. Mr. Hassan was our driver in the safari and he gave us a lot of informations about the Parks and the animals. With him we have seen all the big five and the ugly five!
All the transfer have been safe and well organised, from our arrival until the drop off to the airport at the end of our holidays.
Thank you to Rita and Axis staff for their job!

A Memorable 6-Day Safari with Tanzania Memories (Formerly African Reflection Tours)

We had an unforgettable 6-day safari as a family group back in April, and although we traveled under the name African Reflection Tours, we’re happy to finally share our review now under their new name – Tanzania Memories Tours & Safaris. And yes, the new name couldn’t be more fitting – because this trip truly left us with lifelong memories!

From the very beginning, the team was well-organized, professional, and responsive. Our guide Richard was absolutely fantastic – knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about wildlife. He had a great sense of humor, kept us safe and comfortable, and always knew the best spots for incredible sightings.

We explored Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater – each day brought new highlights, from herds of elephants and big cats to the breathtaking landscapes and sunsets. Our accommodations were clean and well-located, with delicious meals and friendly staff.

As a family traveling with both adults and kids, we felt well taken care of. Every detail was handled with care, and there was always flexibility to ensure we enjoyed the trip at our own pace.

We highly recommend Tanzania Memories Tours & Safaris to anyone looking for an authentic and personal safari experience in Tanzania. Thank you again to Richard and the entire team – you gave us a journey we’ll never forget!

Unforgettable 4-Day Safari Adventure in Tanzania
5/5

We recently returned from an unforgettable 4-day safari through Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and I can confidently say it was the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and much of that credit goes to our incredible guide, Baraka.

From the moment we met him, Baraka’s warmth, professionalism, and passion for wildlife made us feel instantly at ease. He has an extraordinary depth of knowledge about the animals, landscapes, and culture of Tanzania. Every sighting came alive thanks to his storytelling and insights—from the smallest bird to the great herds of wildebeest.

Serengeti National Park: The vast plains were everything I dreamed of and more. We witnessed lions lounging under acacia trees, a cheetah sprinting across the savannah, and elephants gracefully moving in family herds. Baraka always seemed to know exactly where to go for the best sightings, while still respecting the animals and the environment.

Ngorongoro Crater: A breathtaking natural wonder. Descending into the crater felt like entering another world, where wildlife roams in abundance. We saw rhinos, zebras, flamingos, and countless other animals, all set against the dramatic backdrop of the crater walls.

Lake Manyara: Though smaller than the other parks, it was full of surprises. The lush greenery and birdlife were incredible, and we were lucky enough to see a female elephant and her baby.

What made this safari so special was not only the beauty of the parks but the way Baraka guided us through them. He was patient, attentive, and always eager to answer questions. His driving skills were excellent, and he made sure we were comfortable, safe, and well taken care of throughout the journey.

Every day was filled with excitement, yet also with a sense of peace and connection to nature. The accommodations, meals, and logistics were seamless, but it was Baraka’s dedication and enthusiasm that turned a great safari into an extraordinary one.

If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, I cannot recommend both the itinerary and Baraka enough. This was an adventure I will cherish forever, and I left with not only amazing photos and memories but also a deep appreciation for the wildlife and people of Tanzania.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) – Absolutely unforgettable!

Green Hippo 's unforgettable life time experience
5/5

Coincidentally we came into contact with Astrid from Green Hippo, when we planned our 22 days travel to Tanzania, and this contact worked out in a unforgettable journey for our family in August. Based on our wish to not only visit the great national parks, but also to meet people, Astrid made a varied travel from Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Natron, Ngorogoro, Serengeti, Mkomazi and Pangani Beach. All the lodges were excellent, beautifully situated and small scale. The social projects at Watoto, Africa Amini Maasai lodge and Chanya School were outstanding and the cycling tour and visit to a rice and banana plantation in Mto Wa Mbu and coffee excursion and waterfall hike in Materuni very informative. The park visits were all above expectation, because our tenacious guide was not afraid to leave the beaten track to avoid traffic jams and ‘mass’ audiences to find exceptional animal encounters including the Big Five and a great variety of (predator) birds. Although Astrid supplied us with a Travel Key app with all details from our trip from the moment we landed till the last day, we were able to make last minute changes during the trip. This resulted a.o. in an unplanned Moshi Tuc Tuc town trip and a half day visit at a Masai family at their Boma. Valence was not only our driver for our whole trip, but also an outstanding, very informative guide and above all a super friendly and humoristic trip manager who made sure that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Valence was more or less part of our family.
All in all we can recommend Green Hippo to anyone who wants a tailormade Tanzania trip, off the beaten track and based on your own desires. As Green Hippo is a local company, all the revenues stay in Tanzania. Astrid and Valence, thank you for supporting us in this unforgettable life time experience.

Excellent Safari Tour by Lappet Faced Safaris
5/5

Francisco was amazing at organizing exactly the trip we wanted. He took the time to answer all our questions and custom made our trip with a great price. We chose the luxury tented lodges but the mid-priced accommodations looked good too. We saw so many animals up close, right by our Land Rovers, on our custom private 10 day safari (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). He also arranged a three night get away on Zanzibar at the Zuri Zanzibar resort. It was fabulous! All of the accommodations were fabulous and the food was delicious. You can trust Francisco to organize your safari and make it the trip of your lifetime! This trip exceeded our expectations and that is saying a lot for our group!

Our guides, Ukadi & Alfred, were also amazing, they have a lot of experience as a safari guides and have vast knowledge on the animals, plants, trees and the culture. They spotted so many animals and birds for us, and were patient while we photographed everything. We even got to see all of the Big 5! We saw huge pools of hippos, leopards, cheetahs, lions, elephants, rhinos, Cape buffalos, zebras, wildebeest, ostriches, baboons, hyenas and much, much more!
We really recommend going with Lappet Faced Safari tour company, they are the best! Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with us. We will never forget.

It was an amazing experience.
It isn t the most cheap, but the simpaty and professionalism is very good and important, especialy in a 2 days Safari. Evaline is always ready for what we need and Michael was an excellent driver, guide and person to me and my daughter. Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater are a dream.

professional operator
5/5

My wife and I chose a "great migration" safari with Great Escape Trails in August 2025, it was a very full itinerary and very well organised with great attention to detail. They were very easy to deal with, allowing us to add an extra night and always replying promptly as our arrival times changed due to airline rescheduling and to confirm any small detail. Our guide, Hans seemed to always have us in the right place at the right time for game sightings, all the big 5 and much, much more, we saw a river crossing of a small group of animals and a number of first sightings for us including cheetahs, snakes and a black rhino. Hans was always ready to explain things to us and help identify what we were seeing - a very likeable man to spend such a long time on the road with.

Very well organized
5/5

We did a 4 days safari between Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli parks. Since the planning phase, Naomi was very effective. All the tour was well organized and we had no issues at all. Our guide Enock was amazing and allowed us to see a lot of animals in a very short period. We definetly recommend this tour operator.

An amazing experience through the heart of Kenya
5/5

What an amazing experience.

I took the 8 days safari through Kenya and cannot believe what a great trip it was.
The nightlight has to be Masai Mara, since it’s where we spotted most of the animals, we had a lion nearing our jeep (which was an open one that we paid a little extra for it but was totally worth it), then we chased a rhino in the plains and saw a big family of elephants, we were almost lucky enough to see two lioness hunting but they missed their prey. And we had wine while watching a cheetah move around.

Amboseli was a great experience as well, specially if you like elephants, the views of the Kilimanjaro were amazing and the cottages we stayed were super spacious, they also had a bonfire at night to chill after dinner.

We also did lake Nakuru and Naivasha, both were great as well. Though lake Naivasha the boat tour company didn’t take us to Creascent island (we found out later), but this has nothing to do with ETA, so I would recommend be persistent with the boat rider. Nakuru is a special park and the sights of a white rhino eating nearby us was a spectacle.

Me and my group also went to Hells gate to ride a bicycle and walk through the canyon. Felt great moving a bit after being in the car for some days.

I’ll finish really recommending this agency, Derrick was always in communication and helped us a lot always.
