This safari is good for nature lover, like camping and if you are traveling with low budget.
4/5

Safari was amazing experience. Our driver James had 20 years experience so he knew where to go and did everything that we could see all possible animals. The chef Ibrahim was so kind and made tasty food everyday in modest conditions. The tents were okay, but mattresses weren't that comfy and sleeping bags should be updated. There also were no pillows. Almost everything went good but sometimes we didn't get enough information and we needed to ask things many times. And sometimes the schedule of the day wasn't clear for us. Even though we got help when we asked something from Vicent who was from the company. He picked us up from the airport and let us leave our backpacks to the office during safari. If you manage without comforts this could be your safari.

Amazing! Naseeb knew all of the best places and where to go.
5/5

Naseeb is very knowledgeable and knows just about everything in Uganda. The service was great and always on time. This was one of my best trips and it was definitely on the cheaper side compared to other companies. I will definitely use Naseeb Safaris again.

Trust Ecological Adventures for your safari
5/5

This was the second safari we have been on with EA….the first being in 2008. Brian Mengoriki and his staff know the land, the animals, birds, flora and the relationship between. And this knowledge is used to give an excellent trip.

Our safaris with them were a blend of luxury camps and mobile tented camps…blended together and each suited for the local environment.

This is a family business that you can TRUST to give you a memorable safari that you will want to repeat….we did

In a few days you see and learn a lot about Zambia: the culture, the nature and zambezi river.
4/5

If you want to see and learn a lot about Zambia in just 6 days then the trip of Lochinvar Safari is perfect for you. In a SUV we travelled from Lusaka to Livingstone whit 4 poeple. So it was almost a private tour. The schedule was good and flexibel if necessary. The accommodations and food were good but not luxury. Mark, how drove us safely, told and shown us a lot about Zambia. We always feld safe on this trip. The rafting and the Victoria Falls were amazing. We saw and learned a lot about Zambia in a few days for a good price.

Best Ranger Guide ever !
5/5

I live in South Africa but in early January, I was hosting three friends from the UK and usually I love nothing better than to self-drive my friends around Kruger personally. However, due to the exceptional humid weather at the time, our sightings were not as impressive as usual, and we decided it was time to bring in the experts, otherwise known as Elephant Herd Safaris. We immediately connected with our guide Bheki, who made a bold statement early on that he would find us the big five. All we can say, is that he kept his promise to us and more ... he was extremely polite and shared his in-depth knowledge the whole day. We also enjoyed him sharing some of his own personal family stories. I would highly recommend this company and Bheki especially, although something tells me - all of their guides are just as good!

You explain roughly what kind of (custom) trip you would like to make, and they make it happen
5/5

Booked devil's pool and a game drive in Mosi-oa-tunya with Priscilla in Vanaway's office in Livingstone. I wanted to do a longer game drive than the ones i saw being offered everywhere, so we made a custom plan together for that game drive with experienced and friendly guides. Everything was planned well with no hick ups and for any questions i could always reach out and I would get a reply within minutes. Since it all went smoothly and i enjoyed it a lot, I also booked a multi day stay in a lodge in Kafue national park from Lusaka later on my trip, including game drives and river cruises. This too was organized well, including help with transportation by public bus from/to Kafue. Im very happy with how it all went down and would book with Vanaway again if i return to Zambia :)

Authentic and friendly operator, who is always willing to help
5/5

Deo is a great guy. He is always willing to help, even with special wishes. He proactively tried to build a trip, that suits our needs and we enjoyed it a lot. Even if things do not go to plan, he is there to find a solution. We had a great time with one of the experienced guides he works with, who brought us to Mikumi and Ruaha National Park on a 5 day Safari trip. We were happy to feel like supporting a local tour operator aswell as local businesses on our trip, that were selected thoughtfully by deo. Also the price felt very reasonable in general.

We already recommended "Trvl with Deo" to fellow travellers and will continue to do so.

A Gold Mine of a Tour
5/5

My family and I used Lucas’ company on a week-long trip through Tanzania, and what an excellent choice that was. Lucas’ familiarity with the local areas and the staff at every location ensured that we were safe and cared for at every turn. This is not only great from a safety perspective (rains in the Serengeti almost stranded us, but Lucas’ superb driving skills saved the day), but also ensures that you will have updated knowledge about where animals are in real time. Simply, Luca is so personable, fellow guides and locals want to work with him.
He also remembered our personalized interests and would go out of his way to ensure we saw things and went places tailored to those interests. Additionally, this man can identify ANY plant and animal that you might ask him about, and has an astounding knowledge of the entirety of the Serengeti. Given how incredibly vast the Serengeti is and how many animals and plants are there, having a guide who has essentially memorized the entire park and all that it contains is an absolute gold mine.
I highly recommend booking with Lucas for your African adventures—you will have the adventure of a lifetime. Thank you, Lucas!

Fantastic Safari and Guides
4/5

Really good value for money. We got to see absolutely everything we wanted to see over the 6 days on Safari. We got split across 2 tour guides over those days, particular mention to one of the guides Francis who was amazingly friendly, engaging and insightful. He really put the cherry on top of a really great trip especially when there's a lot of travel time between locations. Accommodation was good, the only thing that could have been better was a noise issue in our hotel in Nakuru but the tour company apologized and the other places we stayed were nice. The Masai Mara accommodation was SUPER basic so just be prepared for that. The food was generally ok, local cuisine which usually was rice, veg and a protein. As a veggie it was usually lentils and beans. Not a huge amount of variety over the week but you do get fed A LOT! I would say if you're veggie, try and be specific about what you want in your packed lunch beforehand because we got pretty stingey stuff compared to the meat eaters...

The Manjara Camp in Amboseli was super accommodating with the food though. What a lovely place to stay as well!! It was the best place we stayed by far! Henry was an amazing host and if we could have stayed longer there, we would have!! Special shout-out to Chef, she blew us away with how much she catered for us.

All in all, we had a fantastic time. If your focus is on seeing animals and being treated amazingly by very experienced guides, this is deffo for you! Bear in mind you spend maybe 10-15% of your time at camp so if you just want the basics like we did, it's perfect without all the bells and whistles!
