I can't recommend Standard Safaris!
Yes, I can't recommend this company enough! We got so lucky that we were among a few people who made it to the jungles of Bwindi that day and what more-we got to take selfies with a lovely "silverback". The next two days, we had to spend them on Lake Bunyonyi but we had to change to Kibale forest for chimpanzee trekking. Again, we appreciate Standard Safaris and our guide to be so accommodative and act flexible even when this change was so immediate! By the way, They did not charge us any extra money, apart from the chimp permits. We thank you so much for making our first safari to Uganda a memorable one!

This tour operator was absolutely the most knowledgeable, courteous, friendly guide ever.
Everything to do with this tour was absolutely fantastic - from the to the accommodations to the vastly wonderful excursions we went on. we could not have had a better tour guide who patiently answered all of our questions and went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy. The service was more than satisfactory and we went to the most gorgeous areas and the best hotels! We were all so impressed - everything ran smoothly and we didn't experience one single "glitch"!

Our experience was amazing and well organized by Dennis and the awesome tour guide John.
The trip was amazing. John the tour guide picked us on time. Lunch was yummy and well prepared with the help of Dennis who was our organizer from day 1. I will surely book again with bonfire.

Uganda Safari - Gone too good!!!
Standard Safaris chose for us an excellent guide (Innocent) who had excellent knowledge about wildlife, landscape, animals and culture. He took very good care of us, and he was extremely pleasant, efficient, fun and courteous. We surely couldn't enjoy Uganda without Innocent and without Standard Safaris. Overall experience was great, save for a small quarrel at one of the hotels (name withheld) between my husband and the chef who served a wrong order - but it was later resolved. Without a second thought, I recommend Standard Safaris, for everyone coming to East Africa.

Kilimanjaro and Safari
Everything was fantastic! Booking directly with them was easy and they had great communication. From the time they picked us up we felt comfortable. Our guides and crew for the climb were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Great encouragement when the climb go tough. Food was great.
Had another wonderful experience on our Safari. Our guide was fun and made sure we saw all the animals up close and new some great spots that didn’t have a lot of other jeeps so it was more personal.
Highly recommend them!!

AMAZING TOUR! GREAT VALUE!
Very professionally-run tour to the Kruger. David and Marieta are simply GREAT!
Everything was on time, all staff (at the lodge, in Kruger) were kind and welcoming. Even though it’s called a budget tour, car was super comfortable, lodge room was great (oh, that bed... so good).
I rate it 5 stars!
Thanks for making my first trip to South Africa so memorable!
