Thanks a lot to Lion King for the impeccable organisation, and especially thanks to our guide Oswald (Ozzy). True safari veteran, he was able to turn our safari into the experience of a lifetime. Very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating, he went above and beyond to ensure we always felt comfortable and safe. Very important, he can also spot wild animals better than a cheetah! Also hotels, private jeep, lunch boxes were top notch. Nothing is left to chance with Lion King except for how many animals you get to see, which is a safe bet in Tanzania.

The tour operator was communicative, knowledgeable, reliable, fun, kind, and considerate.
I have traveled with this company twice and both experiences were 5 star. My first experience I was with one friend and went on a 2 day safari to Tarangire and a day trip to the hot springs. The guide was knowledgeable of the animals and the national park. The hot springs were relaxing and lunch was provided during our visit. The staff were attentive to our needs and were enjoyable to have around.
My second experience was with 3 friends. We booked a 2 day safari and explored both Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Both destinations were absolutely beautiful and once again the guide did not disappoint with his expert knowledge of both locations. Ourselves and our Guide Evarist had a ton of laughs on this trip and it made for a truly memorable experience. Our camping arrangements and food provided both exceeded our expectations. After Safari we headed to the hot springs for our day trip. Once again lunch was provided and we relaxed throughout the day by the Springs.
I would 100% recommend booking with this company. The company is communicative throughout booking and your stay in Tanzania. This is a great value for the price they offer tours and safaris. They not only go above and beyond but they are also a local Tanzanian Company.

Magical Tanzania with Wilson
Our first safari experience, with our incredible guide Wilson, will be unforgettable on so many levels:
He made us discover the nature, as well as the history and geography of Tanzania. His approach was stimulating and full of pedagogy.
The safari went extremely well, far beyond our expectations.
Every single day, we’ve been able to observe wild life, learn more about the animals way of life.
Our guide also had an incredible ability to spot all kinds of animals from great distance. Many times, we were the first ones spotting and observing them.
Even though guides have a radio to communicate between each other, Wilson didn’t even rely on it and was able to find animals thanks to his experience and acute sense of observation. That way, we were often by our own to enjoy the magical moment and immortalize them on camera.
The cherry on the cake happened on the last day, when he spotted a black rhino from one mile away!! We were thus among the lucky people that have been able to see this endangered animal during a safari.
We’ve learnt so much about wild life, Tanzania’s old and recent history/geography / geology…don’t go to Wikipedia, ask our guide Wilson! He’s an information gold mine! He is passionate about his job, and is eager to share his knowledge, as well as to always acquire more.
Last but not least, at the end of the trip, the experience was so wonderful we felt that Wilson was a part of our family.
We hope our roads will cross again, and we miss him already! It was a huge pleasure meeting him.

They made our trip to be unforgettable in our honeymoon in the wilderness.!
We did a 7-day safari with lappet faced safaris for our honeymoon in August 2022. From the initial contact, Francisco was incredibly helpful in customizing the trip based on our desires. For example, we wanted to travel to Northern Serengeti to see the river crossing, and to ensure we didn't loose a day for travel, Francisco arranged a flight out of Lobo airport. Lappet faced safaris was the only tour provider who was willing to arrange this. The accommodations were also incredible.
The safari itself was a once in a lifetime experience! Our guide, Noel, made us feel very welcome, he was incredibly kind and SO SO knowledgeable (about wildlife and Tanzania's history etc). He did everything he could to ensure we had the best experience possible and that we saw so much amazing wildlife. We went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Central & Northern Serengeti. We saw the big 5 (including two sightings of a black rhino), 10 cheetahs, and >5000 wildebeests crossing the Mara river.
Absolutely unforgettable experience! We highly recommend lappet faced safaris!

Really friendly and funny team! They pick you up and drop off wherever you are. Be ready to hear funny stories and eat good food during your journey. We manage to see all the animals! It’s a experience that I would love to repeat and I recommend 100%

Amazing 10-Day Safari through Beautiful Uganda
We did the 10 day Pearl of Africa Tour in November 2022 and enjoyed every second of it. We visited both Murchison Falls NP, as well as Queen Elizabeth National Park, did the Chimp and the Gorilla Trekking.
The communication with Hedmond beforehand was wonderful and he always answered us promptly.
Our guide Benon made it a memory to last and we can highly recommend him to show you beautiful Uganda.
He took great care of us and let us have a lot of time with the animals we encountered. We felt safe and very welcome during our entire stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

Amazing safari experience in Serengeti and Ngorongoro
I had an amazing safari experience with Suricata travels. They offered among the best prices we found, and they were really helpful with everything - they answered all our questions, helped us when we arrived in Arusha and offered us lodging.
During the safari we had "Rocky" as a guide and "Musse" as a chef (I don't quite know how to spell their names) , and they did an excellent job! Rocky made sure we were having a good time, and took us around Serengeti and Ngorongoro and to the camps. He was always ready to give us interesting information about the different animlas of the parks. We ended up seeing plenty of lions, giraffes, cheetas, leopards, elephants, flamingos, hippos and many many more animals!
Musse cooked great food, and most dishes somehow tasted familiar, even though I had them for the first time, so he certainly knows how to cook for people from all over the world!
I can recommend Suricata Travels to anyone looking for a safari experience. They will make sure to give you an experience you won't forget!
