My wife and I had a fantastic week in Ethiopia in 2022. Thanks to Siemen EcoTours for providing us a fantastic experience in this . We crossed a bit of the country with a great driver and guides in Lalibella (including 11 churches and experiencing a Sunday mass), Yemrehanna Kristos, Awra Amba community, Bahir Dar, Blue Nile Falls, Lake Tana, Gondar and Siemens Mountains National Park. We discovered a lot about the history, the reality of Ethiopia - country that was never colonized – and it’s heritage to the world (coffee, Rastafari, own religion … ), delicious food and friendly people !

Wonderful experience, 6 days custom Safari with Tom
We organized a 6 days custom safari with Africa Starpal Safaris via whatsapp. Paul was super helpful providing feedback, suggestions and helping us compare the various alternatives. When we arrived in Kenya everything worked out even better that we thought. Pickup at the agreed time and we leave for our trip. Our guide Tom was exceptional, he really made the difference. He is a very pleasant person and he did everything he could to make our trip something we would remember. It was a marvelous experience. A caring , competent,personal local tour operator
We hired Apodiformes for a 6 day safari tour and 3 day stay at Diani Beach. It was phenominal! Silas made sure we were taken care of in every aspect of our trips. He also arranged beaufiful superior accommodations everyhere we went,each with a beautiful swimming pool to enjoy at the end of each day. The food at each of these places was incredible,smorgasborg style with incredible choices. Our safari guide,Maxwell was an absolute gem. He was honest ,hard working and diligent in making sure we saw everything. He stopped whenever we needed and made sure we had lots of time to see animals and birds closely. He was kind ,personable and fun to be with and most importantly an excellent and careful driver over some pretty challenging roads. We highly recommend this tour agency not only because they are local but because they give superior personal and much cheaper tours over the many international companies like Go etc
Do not book a tour through an agency in your own country. You end up paying up to 300 percent more. Book on line a great local tour group like Apodiformes . Sandra organised our trip to Mabula Game Lodge, which we enjoyed very much. She answered my queries on the trip very quickly and was extremely helpful. Everything worked like clockwork. We really enjoyed Mabula Game Lodge and the safaris were very good. Our driver, TK, who took us to the Lodge and back again to the airport was on time and very good company. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Professional Touring Company!
The tour coordinator was very flexible and helped accommodate our requests as best as he could. The drivers were also amazing, we became like family! BEST PRICE WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE
Me and my wife went on a 2-days Selous drive with Uwanda Tours and Safaris. As we left from ZAnzibar, we chose to travel by airoplane to not loose to much time travelling. After sending an application via the website, Uwanda Tours and Safaris provide a Whatsapp service; a telephone number is shared for comminication; All questions before and after ordering were answered adequately within 1 to 2 minutes, that is QUALITY which deserves respect! The included taxi service to the airport arrived punctual at the hotel to pic us up, similar for the return from the airport to back to the hotel; again a professional service. The taxi driver guided us to the waiting zone to board the airplane where another "Uwanda" awaited us, he lead us to the entrance and gate for boarding. After a 25 min flight, we arrived at the Nyerere National Park where we were awaited by our driver for the Selous game drive: Maarufu. As our Jeep stood right next to the landed airoplane, we immediatly started the Selous game drive. Maarufu appeared to be very motivated by going the extra mile for us: we must say, a time of a lifetime experience!
The second day is a bit less filled but the boot tour and visit to the village were worth doing... we still would recommend the 2 days - before the 1 day trip. It would have been perfect if we would have been aware in advance that our lodge where we staid has a swimmingpool so we would have brought our swimming gear. Returning to Zanzibar, pick up - flight - taxi, all punctual and professional again. Thank you Uwanda Tours and Safari for this great experience!

Reliable, well organized - professionals.
We had a great experience with Suricata. We got to see the African Big 5 and plenty more. Our guide Mandela was very knowledgable, friendly and clearly passionate about his job. He really made this a 5 star experience.
Also, the organisation starting from the transfers to and from the airport was great - the whole journey was smooth.

Very well organized and professional, and made the trip very easy for us
We did a five day trip to Bwindi to see the gorillas, and to Lake Mburo park, staying two nights at Lake Mulehe gorilla lodge and two days at Kigambira Safari lodge. The trip was amazing, our guide Prim was great, very helpful and taught us so much about Uganda and the language. Everything was straightforward, well explained, and happened on schedule. The Safari van we took was in great shape and with good suspension for some of the bumpy roads. Both lodges were great, very friendly and with delicious food. We had plenty of activities to do and saw lots of animals but still had some time to relax in between. Great balance.
