The safari was all that we expected. Rajab is always very responsive and answered all my questions beforehand. Our guide, Bashiru, made the safari really enjoyable, and everything went according to plan.

We had an excellent treatment with Biko adventures tours team from the first day we arrived at Kilimanjaro International airport me, my husband and our two sons, we started exploring Tanzania by Mt Kilimanjaro trekking for seven days through Machame route, the mountain guide (Richard) led us very well with his whole crew, we really enjoyed and we all managed to reach Africa’s roof top the Uhuru peak, We then had a town tour in Arusha where we visited the maasai market and the coffee plantation at Kingston asilia and coffee, we started our safari the following morning to the bush where we had 10 days of an awesome game drive to Tarangire, Manyara and the Sweet Serengeti where we saw different wild animals, we truly enjoyed the best of nature with our driver guide (Mlulu) who was very sharp to spot animals from different angles and he is very knowledgeable about nature and wildlife behavior, the last day is a day to remember when we drove down the Ngorongoro crater it was marvelous, I and my family we really loved it. Thank you so much Biko Adventures team for all the coordination that made our safari to Tanzania possible and truly memorable. We surely recommend to our friends and family to book with them.

Better than I could ever imagine! Amazing!
Booking a trip to Tanzania can be overwhelming with all the tour company options. But look no further, booking mama Savana was the best decision we made. From the moment I inquired about the trip, Alex texted me. He answered all my questions and adjusted the itinerary and our accommodations to fit what we were looking for. He was so responsive. One day before our trip Qatar airways cancelled our flight! I panic text Alex and he immediately Re-arranged our tour to go along with the next flight. He even booked a local flight for us because Qatar was no longer flying us to JRO as originally planned. It made what would’ve been a nightmare problem, a breeze. From the moment we got off the plane both Alex and Joe greeted us. They brought us flowers and customized their jeep to welcome us.
JOE WAS THE MOST AMAZING GUIDE EVER! Wow that eye on him. He would stop the car and be like “look right” and here we are grabbing binoculars and he had already spotted a leopard or a lion so far back. He didn’t miss a single animal! I have no idea how he could spot all those animals so easily.
Also thanks to Joe and his amazing patience, we got to see the Wildebeest cross the Mara Mara river! WOW it was the most incredible thing I’ve ever witnessed. Then he spotted a lion feasting and said “do you mind if we get closer.” He took us off path and we then found ourselves 4 feet away from a lion eating a gazelle. I have selfies with this lion. It’s amazing. What a thrilling experience. He is the best guide, best animal spotter, and a very knowledgeable and sweet guide. we actually enjoyed those fun facts he shared. This safari exceeded all my expectations, I am still on cloud 9 thinking of everything we experienced.
The accommodations were also amazing!!! The staff at the hotels went above and beyond for us. I have absolutely no complaints! Everything went so smoothly.

Outstanding service and value for money.
From the first contact with Emma at Shemeji we received an unsurpassed customer service. I lost count of the number of emails forwards and backwards before our trip as I wanted to customise the itinerary, and Emma was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. In the month before the trip actually happened we had quite a few flight changes & cancellations due to the Covid situation, and this meant a knock on effect for the holiday itself. Emma had to make various last minute changes to hotel bookings for us and this all happened smoothly with no fuss. Once there, our guide Adam was excellent, and the vehicle with pop up roof was better than expected. I've been going to various African countries for over 10 years and my dream photograph that I've never been able to achieve was of a leopard draped over a tree branch. Needless to say Adam found one for us and we had the sighting all to ourselves. The hotels were mostly very nice although the one in Arusha has seen better days and the swimming pool is a pile of rubble. All other hotels were perfectly good though. The day that we were due to fly on to Zanzibar happened to be the day of the general election in Tanzania and at the last minute Shemeji thought it wise to change our itinerary so that we did not stay in Stone Town as there was potential unrest there. Instead we went straight to the beach, and finished our trip in Stone Town when the situation had become calmer. We appreciated them taking our safety seriously even though it meant extra work in rearranging hotels and transfers for us. I cannot recommend Shemeji highly enough and if you are looking to arrange a reasonably priced safari then look no further. We also loved the option to add on Zanzibar at the end.

Super tour
Went with Migration Venture Africa for 6-days safari tour to 4 main national parks. To say that we had an amazing and I should say an emotional experience is to say nothing. Our guide Thomas had an incredible eye for spotting even little “invisible” creatures in the grass, on the trees, under the stone etc. With his help we’ve managed to see all big five and many many other animals. Also, we’ve learned so much from him about animals’ habitat, habits and instincts. Besides that, Thomas really made us feel at home and was ready to help with any sort of a problem or a question.
I’d like to thank again the agency and Thomas personally for an unforgettable and once in a life time experience!!

Great customer care and wonderful safari
The quality of service provided by Gilmag Safaris was impressive and outstanding. It is probably very rare to give a 5* review on a trip but we feel Gilmag Safaris deserves a 10* rating. I am short of words on how to describe how spectacular our 12 days safari with Gilmag Safaris was. Every aspect of the planning was taken care of by Mary. There was so much attention to detail.
Our 12 days safari with Gilbert was excellent. The trip was fantastic. We got to see a pride of lions with cubs, herds of elephants, giraffes, hyenas, buffaloes, hippos, massive herds of wildebeest crossing and much more. The day trip to the foot of Kilimanjaro was unforgettable. The experience was out of this world.
Thank you Gilmag for making the entire trip so safe, smooth and comfortable throughout despite Covid-19 outbreak. I would truly recommend Gilamg Safaris. We will definitely be back.

Amazing experience
