Our experience in Kenya was so wonderful in every way! Our guide James was an expert driver, and was great at tracking the potential locations of the animals to get us very close to the action. He is truly a professional. He was so knowledgeable about the area and knew all there is to know about the animals we saw. He was funny and just amazing really! :) Thanks again!
We also were very happy with all the accommodations we stayed at, from the food to the staff, every place we stayed at was super!

Lenchada did a very good job. Alex is a committed person, really professional, he aligned and clarified everything with me by email and manage to attend to everything, with no need for us to keep chasing him all the time. Also, he kept an eye on the Safari always calling the guide driver to make sure that is everything going smoothly as it should be. The guide WILSON, is definitely an experienced person on safaris, he has knowledge about animals and knows the park and the places. We saw the BIG5 and arranged breakfast to be taken in the savanna to optimize the time, was a nice experience.

Morningstar was a fantastic value and a wonderful experience. I booked the 3-day Amboseli Safari and John was informative and happy to answer all the random questions about life in Kenya that popped into my head. Equally as important he knew when to just let the day pass before us. We shared coffee and meals and got to see some amazing sights. Ambsoeli is the spot to go for elephants -- there are 2,000 in the park, but if you're looking for big cats maybe ask Morningstar to take you to Masai Mara or somewhere. For me, the Kilimanjaro views and pachyderm close encounters were something out of childhood fantasty. Thank you, Denis, Emmie, John, and everyone at Morningstar!

Fantastic 3 week trip to Malawi!
My wife and I couldn't have been happier with our trip to Malawi. Our itinerary and accommodations were recommended by the staff of Crafted Africa, and couldn't have been better. From getting off the airplane after a long journey from Canada to stepping on to our homeward flight 3 weeks later we were welcomed and taken care of...even spoiled. The people of Malawi were warm and welcoming and we always felt safe. Our driver and guide Eddie was fantastic. He was a careful driver as well as being very informative about the culture and history of Malawi. He was always there to handle any curveballs that came our way and did his best to fulfill any requests we had. We had some trepidation about travelling in the rainy (emerald) season but the advantages of uncrowded accommodations, cooler temperatures, and green vistas made up for the occasional shower.
High lites include Huntington House, Mvuu Lodge, Blue Zebra Lodge, Mumbo Island, Zomba, and Majete, and of course the people of Malawi.
I definitely would recommend Crafted Africa to guide you to this wonderful and friendly country of Malawi. WE wish we were still there!

Incredible Experience, Just Keep Your Eyes Open
Samuel was very responsive to my initial inquiries and very helpful with booming the tour and navigating my malleable pickup plans. The 3 day gorilla trek with a night at Lake Bunyoni was a (wait for it) once in a life time experience and I was thrilled to have the incomparable Moses Medrad as my guide -- ask for him by name. With Moses I not only had a knowledgeable driver, I got to witness an upstanding member of his community take me around his home. The only thing to be wary of is is at the START of the journey make sure your guide and you are on the same page for expectation of itinerary -- the deal I had with Samuel was to drop me off in Kampala, but Moses was only told to take me to Kabale (a difference of about 9 hours). As fun as sitting in a car for an entire day after quibbling over a bill sounded, I just had Moses put me on a bus (which was its own safari!).

Outstanding experience with Sovereign Adventures
We were a group of 6 people travelling together, and the first time going on a safari for all of us.
The communication with Sarah, the director, was seamless and made us feel really taken care of.
The pick up in hotel and drop off at the airport take a lot of pressure from the travellers and that's again a good thumbs up from us!
We had Paul as our driver and guide and he was amazing, very professional, knowledgeable and keen to give us a good experience.
The accommodations were comfortable and really added up to the experience. The fact they prepared packed lunches and were willing to give us an early breakfast was a nice touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. Great value for money!
Sovereign Adventures went above and beyond our expectations and we were truly delighted with the entire experience! We definitely recommend it.

Solomon is the best tour guide.
We are so blessed to have Solomon because he is an incredible tour guide. His knowledge of the parks; animals; and where to find them were extraordinary. He was so patient and answered all of our non-stop questions, with grace and good humor.
He was super helpful and caring making sure that everyone in the group was taken care of in the best way.
I honestly feel that my trip would not have been as amazing without him! Thank you Soloman for this incredible experience!
