Great hospitality and patients
5/5

One of my client of whom had 84 years old and no power and balance at all, but only had the proud and self wishes strongly.

Around 22:00, upon arriving in Horonbo hut, before 2 kilometers to Horonbo hut, he had collapsed by himself. The guides and the porters tried to let him on the hand carrying car though. But he denied to be carried on with his violentaly act to their.

Finally he had been carried on it with nothing apologized. Next morning, I apologized to them in stead of him.
These guides said that " everybody going to be old ages. That's normal situation for us too ".

He could step on the saddle 4000m and he could be enjoyed the view of Killimanjaro with great hospitality and patients of the guides and porters.

Sincerely thanks a lot.

Trip to Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West Review
5/5

We had a four day trip covering Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. It was all marvelously done
Very thankful to Jeremy who was in touch with me always before and after the trip, he answered all the questions and concerns I had.
And many thanks to our guide Alex, though we travelled a lot, always joyful, told us a lot of interesting stories about the parks we were visiting. He’s also a big fan of the nature and animals and we could see that: he knew all the best spots and time to see thus or that animal.
Unforgettable experience thanks to unscripted safaris .

Amazing!!
5/5

We went to diani beach and searched for a good safari company to book our first safari experience. We met dicky around diani beach and talked with him about the different safaris, he explained us everything perfectly. We decided to book a 3 days privat safari with him to tsavo east and amboseli. Two days later we started our trip and he and his driver picked us up at our hotel. We drove to tsavo east, it was an amazing experience, we decided spontaneously that we wanna go to tsavo west as well and it was no problem to change the plan. We went to all of these three Nationalparks and it was breathtaking. We saw so many animals, it was like a dream. Dicky was really professional, helpful and funny. The resorts Dicky booked for us were amazing, the rooms and the food there were great. In one of the resorts we saw free zebras right next to our restaurant. Dicky did his best to make us feel safe, see alot of animals and have the best time. The car/van was really comfy and we had alot of space to relax in the van. I lost one of my shoes in a resort and i realized it one day later, i told dicky and he did everything to get my shoe back and sent it to the place i stayed one week later. He really know what a good customer service looks like and you will not regret it to book with him. We would book with him always again. We wish you all the best Dicky and see you again when we come back to visit masaii mara.

A fantastic adventure
5/5

12-day private safari with an extended stay in Zanzibar. Very good organization of the whole. The basis of such a trip is a good driver/guide. We probably got the best of the best. Kenyan - Peter, Family Man and Tanzanian - Wazeri, Mr. Minister. Both fit in the image of the 5-star Hakuna Matata Brothers and have extensive knowledge of African fauna and flora, excellent orientation in parks and reserves, and extraordinary skills to safely transport you even to places that are not on the map. Accommodation is a separate story. All charming, each in a different way. Starting from a city hotel, through a colonial estate, bungalows, tents, to a charming corner of paradise. Courteous and caring service everywhere. Zachary at Jacaranda Lake Elementaita Lodge is also especially memorable. A few-hour walk with him, stories about the history of the area, animals (especially birds) was an additional attraction.

You can not trust this person
1/5

I am very disappointed by this company. We arrived in Tanzania full of excitement and with the best intentions to share my adventure with local people. It is why I trusted Rewald Moshi to organize our Kilimanjaro summit.

The issues we had with Rewald and his team:

- The company doesn't accept transfers. We had to travel from Canada to Tanzania with $6000 US cash on us. After talking to many people and other companies while we were traveling in Tanzania, we learned the legitimate companies accept transfer.

- Issues in communication. We asked Rewald to add one day for acclimatization, to increase our chances of summitting Kilimanjaro. He replied thumb up on our what's app group. When we arrived we realized he didn't add the 7th day. After reading many websites saying our chance to summit will increase if we spend 7 days on the mountain (5 up 2 down, we texted Rewald asking if we could add one day, he replied yes it will be $270 per person. We paid the extra day because our goal was to summit. After 2 days on Kilimanjaro our guide told us the extra day we paid was to go down, not to go up. We were so disappointed, what is the goal to add an extra day if not to go up and take our time to acclimate. We decided not to spend 3 days going down and asked for a refund minus the salary for the guides and porters. We didn't want the team to be penalized because of the issue in our communication with Rewald. After a long conversation Rewald refunded us $70 per person. So we paid $200 for a day we didn't do just because of poor communication.

- one of the big scams on Kilimanjaro is the team adds a porter on the last day when it is time to pay the tips. We spent 6 days making sure we talked to all our team and learned the names of everyone. On the last day we were tired and when it was time to pay the tips the team sang and danced for us. While I was paying the tips I realized someone I didn't know was in the line of porters. I gave him money thinking I never saw this guy the last 6 days but I was not 100% sure so I gave him a tip (and I Trusted Baraka, our guide). We were missing one person for the tips. We were so confused and sorry for missing one so very quickly we grabbed more cash to pay an extra person. On the way back I was thinking how odd the situation was. I showed the photo of the misterious porter to the other porters asking his name and no one knew his name. When I showed to the guide, Baraka, he said it is Steve the cooks assistant but he left because he is going somewhere else tomorrow. Everyone was so uncomfortable and the energy changed. After googling we learned of the scam of the extra porters at the tips ceremony. Advice ask the name of all the team on the first day to make sure you have the same amount of people when you pay tips.

- we paid to Rewald's friend $30 to get a sim card. Not sure if it was a good price but because we lost trust in him not sure we are not sure

- no oxygen or radio on the mountain. After talking to many guides they all told us we have oxygen and radios if anything happens. Better to ask before choosing your company to make sure you will be safe on the mountain.

I am mad and disappointed by Rewald Moshi and Baraka. We trusted them and they saw us as money on legs, nothing more. I am glad we didn't do the safari and other activities with them.

Professional and top quality with a fantastic human touch
5/5

The staff has picked me up at the hotel with their 4WD at the scheduled time in Nairobi and this was the first surprise with three lovely young, smiley and expert guides! We have moved then to Mt.Longonot for a beautiful hike, all together. This was fantastic, the trail, the landscape with the forest inside the crater and we had fun on the way. You will meet some other hikers from Kenya, Europe and all over the world, never too many, but making you feel you are doing something great. Back to the road we headed to a resort on lake Naivasha where we had lunch the four of us together; the food was super and the place probably the number one in the area; MorningStar could not choose a better place.
The boat tour made us restarting a new experience, encountering hippos, any kind of colored birds and the queen of them, the eagle, offering us a unique spectacle by catching a fish after an elegant sky dive just in front of us. Then a walk among zebras, antelopes, giraffes and many others with an expert local guide explaining the nature secrets. Couple of things I have loved and which will make this experience for life; the quality of Service from MorningStar which is really a value, and the passion and highly friendly dedication of the guides. They should be all good, but Alice, Joy and Alex you will never forget them ! professional, friendly, knowledgeable and like you knew them since a long time already :) my thanks to MorningStar

Amazing holiday
5/5

We booked our tour with superb Tanzania safaris, Fred responded immediately after we booked we had a lot that we wanted for our trip but Fred made sure we had it all. Our guide Stephan was a smiling person on the entire trip from the beginning to the end. The camps and hotels were okay however we had a little problem getting different food for vegetarians but Fred tried to make sure we had the best.

Authentic East African Tour Company!
5/5

Mr. Exaud and his team at Utopia met all our expectations and then some!
We were a group of 8 adults from Germany and Utopia somehow managed to meet all our individual and group requirements whilst curating our Northern Tanzania Safari packages (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara & Serengeti).
Speaking as a born and raised Tanzanian myself, I appreciated the warm Tanzanian hospitality, attention to detail, overall value for money and experienced tour guides! The communication before, during and even after the end of our safari was top notch and I can earnestly say we all had the time of our lives!

I do not see myself booking my next Safari with anyone else. Thank you so much Utopia!
