I did a solo trip to Uganda and reached out to Kaara Adventures with my ideas. They came back to me quickly with a full itinerary including hotels. I literally had no work at all to prepare for my trip. The pick up from the hotel was punctual to the minute.
I want to mention my driver, Ronnie, who is a very safe driver with a great sense of humor. He was in contact with all the local businesses and scheduled all my activities during the trip. therefore i never had any waiting times or the feeling of stress. Every day he collected me from a hotel, organized my day and brought me back to a hotel in the evening safely.
The booked hotels en-route were all great and had a good standard. The car was also comfortable. It was equipped with AC and a pop-up roof for safari. Ronnie even had a portable WiFi router in the car free to use.
One day Ronnie came late but he gave me a call and informed me. He explained the reason which I understood. so i had time to finish my breakfast without any hurry. This is really good service and good communication!
Ronnie knew how the traffic would be and scheduled the activities according to his experience. Thanks to his great knowledge I learned a lot about Uganda's history, politics and mentality.
On my tour I could see victoria lake, the equator, the source of the nile, murchison falls and the national park. Here I have to mention that Ronnie did an extra game drive with me in the evening as we still had a bit of time before we drove to the hotel. This was the best experience of my entire trip. The actual game drive was scheduled the next morning with a park ranger… it was OK but not comparable with the extra drive Ronnie did the day before. Thumbs up!
The restaurants en-route were chosen wisely according to the schedule. They were overall good standards. I'd categorize it as local food but extra prepared for picky tourists. so I can't complain about the taste or hygiene standards. all perfectly chosen.
On the last day we made some changes as I had to go back to the airport and Ronnie brought me to an Italian restaurant instead of the usual local food. It was a welcomed surprise and super delicious.
Despite having a packed itinerary and a flight to catch on my last day, Ronnie managed traffic and activities and brought me to the airport perfectly in time.
without hesitation i can recommend this tour company and most notably Ronnie who made my trip a very special and worry-free adventure.

We are a couple at the age of 59. After 10-days "relaxing holidays" in Zanzibar (SeVi boutique hotel), we spent 5 days in Tarangire NP (1), Serengeti NP (2), Ngrongoro CA (1) and Manyara NP (1). Transfer on Day 1 from Arusha Airport und to Kilimanjaro Airport on Day 5 included. We were only two plus guide in the safari Landcruiser - therefore very flexible in the route planning, partly at our request, partly on the advice of our guide. Not a single problem, everything perfectly organized.
Our very competent (he was able to answer every questions concerning animals, plants, history, ...), experienced and always helpful guide Mecky Lazer showed us the best places und supported us finding the "big 5" and a lot of other animals with our cameras. His eye for nature, his discovery of animals in the distance or in treetops was phenomenal, many animals we would not have discovered without him. Our four nights we spent in the Bougainvillea Lodge (2) and in the Tanzania Bush Camp (Serengeti/2) - also a very good selection by Fahari Safari. Especially the surprisingly high hygienic standard (even in the bush camp) and the good food should be mentioned here.
All in all, we were very satisfied with the service, the organization and the selection of parks and hotels/camps, price-performance ratio was very good. We can really recommend everyone with a clear conscience to spend the safari holiday with Fahari Safari - for us a very good experience.

I seeked for several months for the best Tour company and after receiving dozens of quote i was immediatly starstrucked by far by Morning Star. They are fast with the reply, pro, clean especially Robert and their designed are the most pro i have seen.
So we booked and we went to Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru in the best Lodges, seeing amazing wildlife and being pampered all along our journey. They absolutely rocked everything it was a 10/10.

Exceptional experience with Extraordinary Africa for our Kenyan Holiday.
Alex from Extraordinary Africa arranged a fabulous 13 night trip for us to Kenya - on safari and the beach. Her knowledge of different areas/camps was excellent but what made the experience exceptional was the time and effort she put into ensuring that the trip was perfect for us. She spent a considerable amount of time establishing what our preferences and priorities were and then suggested a couple of different itineraries which we then tweaked together to finalise the trip. Her patience was very much appreciated and all three lodges we visited were exactly as she described. Every transfer we took and representative we met was carefully co-ordinated and we were assisted at all times by reliable and professional staff and drivers. The whole trip ran like clockwork. We are experienced safari goers but this was the best trip we have made and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Extraordinary Africa for your travels.

The most fantastic safari holiday
Our family has just returned from a week-long holiday to Kenya, organised by Rose at The Luxury Safari Company. We had the most wonderful time - our best holiday on record! - and could not recommend The Luxury Safari Company more highly.
We do not usually use travel companies to organise our trips, but this was our first safari and first journey to sub-Saharan Africa, and so we wanted the guidance of an expert to make sure we had the best experience.
From our first contact with Rose she was highly responsive and professional, keen to assess and understand our needs and desires for the trip. We have an 8 year old son and she was very thoughtful about how travelling with children needs to be factored in at every stage of planning. She presented us with some great options but steered us towards two centres for our holiday - Angama Mara in the Masai Mara and Alfajiri Villas in Diani Beach.
She also planned all flights and transfers to maximise our time away. This included organising a fantastic meet and greet service on arrival in Nairobi where we were whisked through immigration and baggage to the domestic terminal for our connecting flight. Rose also - very thoughtfully - arranged a day room and dinner in Nairobi to take us through a gap between our domestic flight from Diani and our return flight to London. In essence, we didn't need to think or worry about a thing at any point during the trip! If only all long haul travel could feel this way!
The two venues which Rose recommended for our holiday were both absolutely superb. The setting, facilities, food and service at both were flawless and we adored our time at both.
We cannot thank Rose and The Luxury Safari Company enough for arranging the most amazing trip. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services and are looking forward to booking with them again very soon.
