Very good service, kindness, flexibility and fast coordination even for custom-made trip
5/5

We had a custom-made trip starting in Rwanda, going over to the Ugandan side, and then back again to Rwanda. Gorilla Tours took care of this from start to finish (all in all 3 days). We were very happy with the exciting Gorilla trekk (and the fact that we got to see so many gorillas with guides who were extermely skilled and new a lot). We also really liked the entertaining Batwa trail and all the beautiful nature and landscapes around. So amazing and so colorful!

Perfect from start to finish
5/5

Having never visited Africa before my wife and I wanted to see the “Big 5” but also wanted an African experience.

Our guide Gilbert took us on a 5 day tour of Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro where everything was taken care of.

Gilbert gave us a clear explanation of what we would be doing each day and what we should expect in terms of driving times, what we would see, food and accommodation.

The three different areas were very different and we were spoiled with a huge variety of animals. Gilbert was well connected with the other guides and took us to the best places for observing wildlife up close. We were continually amazed by his ability to spot animals from crazy distances and took time to help us find them with the binoculars provided. His skills went beyond the big game with an ability to name any bird, tree or plant we we interested in.

The accomodation was comfortable and the food on site was well prepared with great lunch boxes each day.

As a driver by profession I am not generally a good passenger but Gilbert safe driving style and ability to manoeuvre the rough roads and muddy tracks made me feel comfortable. He treated the Land Cruiser like it was his own cleaning it inside and out each day making the experience even more comfortable.

I would highly recommend Lion King Adventures if you want a well organised safari. Make sure you ask for Gilbert!

Incredible
5/5

We went to Imbali Safari Logde for our honeymoon. All really incredible, experts guides, we saw lions, leopards, African buffaloes, hyenas, herds of elephants, giraffes, ostriches and many more!
The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean, very good food, different menus every day. Really highly recommended.
The best was the agency Traipsing Africa, Sandra attended us, 100% available on whatsapp, for all our questions (they were not few, being the first time on a safari), helped us coordinate the arrival and our stay in Johannesburg, Sandra is very reliable and executive to resolve all our concerns.
As I said, 100% recommended.

Introduction
My partner and I booked a 14 days private Safari with Jadi Safaris including 1 day City Trip, Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu and finally ending in Amboseli. Mercy from Jadi Safaris customer desk was nice to communicate too as she listened to all our requests keenly and was always ready to help incase of any problem. She answered our emails promptly from first day to the last day. She helped us with almost everything from choosing the parks to visit, accommodations to book, vehicles to use and even the kind of guides we wanted. I will admit that they did a great job. After the arrival at the airport a driver from the company picked us up and dropped us off to our hotel (ibis) where we would spend two nights.

Day Trip
The following day, we were to go for a day trip within Nairobi city. Our guide/driver Stanley picked us up from the hotel on time and drove through the city. Our first stopover was at The Tom Mboya stature. From our guide explanation he was one of the trade unionists who always aired issues in regards to laborers during and after the colonialism. He also set up several labour institutions in Kenya. We also made a stopover at the Dedan Kimathi stature. From our guide explanation we understand he was a hero and leader of the MauMau uprising that fought against the British colonial rule. We also visited Kenya archives where we got the chance to learn so much about the Kenyan History and the worriers who helped fight for the Kenyan independence. We later visited Bomas of Kenya and had an opportunity see the different dancing styles and music instruments from different tribes. I personally had an opportunity to join the dancers while they danced the “Luo dance”. It’s was a way new experience. We visited the different huts built by the different tribe in Kenya and The Masai hut was the most interesting one.

Masai Mara Trip
Our Masai Mara Trip also started on high notch, as we made a stopover at the view point where we had an opportunity to take nice pictures of the great RiftValley escarpment. We also had a chance to buy the Masai Ornaments like necklaces and sandles. The terrain was exceptional and awesome something I had never come across before. Our guide Stanley helped us spot the Big 5 during the fast day game drive. We were also opportunistic to see the wildebeest crossing at the Mara River. The accommodations at Jambo Mara Camp was great. The meals we delicious and in plenty.

Lake Nakuru Trip
At Lake Nakuru Park we saw loads of animals including the Black and White Rhinos. We also saw flamingos at the shore of the lake. Our guide Stanley went out of his way to ensure we visited Lake Bogoria something that was not included in the itinerary. Indeed this company does magic on your Safaris. They alway sparkle the trip with nice and great surprises. The accommodations and meals here we great.

Samburu Trip.
Samburu Trip was an amazing one too though long. We saw many animals and also experienced the uniqueness of the park. We had a chance to interact with the Turkana people and experience their unique cultures from dressing, meals and their way of living. The accommodations were good and services in the lodges were great too. Meals were so delicious.

Amboseli Trip
Amboseli Trip was great. The favorite part was viewing the Mt Kilimanjoro alongside the big elepants. We had a chance to see an elephant “charging” I understand this happens when they get provoked or angered. I have great photo gallery of our 14 days Trip with Jadi Safaris.

Appreciation
We really thank Jadi Safaris for making our dream come true. You designed everything has we wished for and even went an extra mile to give us a bonus (Lake Bongoria). We have carried great memories with this Safari and we really thank the entire Jadi Safaris team to giving us an outstanding experience.

Email communications were prompt, kind, and professional.
Pickup and drop off were as scheduled.
Tour guide, Ben, is very experienced: skillful driving on the muddy roads, spotting the animals, never losing smiles.

An experience to remember... and to repeat
5/5

My 12-year-old daughter and I went on safari with LOMO in July 2018 and I warmly recommend this company. I had chosen it based on their website’s mission and I’m so happy I trusted my instincts. Here’s a quote from LOMO’s website: “What makes us different from other companies is our ability to Attention to Details. The success of and enjoyment for any safari depend on the quality and experience of a safari guide.”
Our safari reflected this completely! Little details like plenty of cool water bottles in the safari truck, tea/coffee/hot chocolate for mid-morning or mid-afternoon breaks, respect for the fact that we needed a leisurely pace… Everything was just perfect!
Our guide, Erasto, is an avid wildlife watcher and photographer like me. He knows his stuff and gave us a lot of information along the way. One of the highlights of our 9-day safari was the 90 minutes we spent with an elephant herd in the Silale Swamp area of Tarangire National Park. We just sat there, watched these beautiful creatures and took dozens of pictures while observing behaviour I had never seen young males swimming and play-fighting in the water! I will always remember and treasure this experience.
There is more: I appreciate the fact that a certain percentage of the company’s profits are used to support local charities. My family and I visited the orphanage that LOMO supports and it made me realize how important it is for successful Tanzanian companies to form such partnerships. Next time I go on safari, I am going with LOMO. For me, this is the one and only safari company in Tanzania! And we're already planning for a June 2023 safari! See you there!

Fantastic 6 Days 5 Nights Trip for 2 with David
5/5

Myself and my girlfriend (now fiancé but more on that later) have just come back from 10 day trip to Kenya. We spent a big portion of those days (Private tour for 2 people, 6 days/5 nights - 2 nights in Masaai Mara/ 1 night in Lake Nakuru/ 2 nights in Amboseli in a Land Cruiser) in the hands of the company and our guide David.

Before we booked the trip, Robert was always very prompt and honest in his responses, which was the difference maker for us, as we did talk to a few tour companies for comparison. Robert also never made us uncomfortable with hard selling - something we don’t really appreciate and something which we experienced with other tour companies.

On with the journey- After arriving at the airport, we were picked up by David, who greeted us with a friendly smile and off we went on our adventure! The trips by road to the parks are quite long and the roads are a tad rough - so be prepared for some bumpy moments but we were lucky that David was a fantastic driver so the trip was smooth and we even caught some sleep along the way. He also made sure that we always arrived on time as scheduled.

As we went in April during the rainy season, we did get some rain during some of our game drives but we were able to experience the safaris in all their glory. On Day 1 of our trip in the Masaai Mara, we were lucky enough to catch some cheetahs in action as well as Hyenas picking the bones of the corpse! The Masaai Mara was definitely our favourite spot and our only regret is spending only 3 days/2 nights here. We stayed at the Mara Ashnil and it was very good, although not as great as our latter accommodations in the trip. Mara Ashnil is a luxury tented camp but hot water and electricity is not 24/7, which can be uncomfortable for some but we managed alright.

After a 6 hour journey, we arrived at Lake Nakuru which is a smaller park famous for the Black and White Rhino, and pink flamingoes and we did get to see them. However, as good as the park is, it pales in comparison to Masaai Mara in terms of the sheer awe factor of the landscape and wildlife. The hotel, Nakuru Sopa Lodge, was absolutely terrific with a stunning view. We were pleasantly surprised and had a great night’s stay here.

To the final leg of our journey, and the longest drive. After 8.5 hours, we arrived at Amboseli and saw the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. It was here that I proposed to my fiancé at sunset with the view of Kilimanjaro in the background and David was kind enough to capture those moments with my camera :)

Amboseli is absolutely stunning for the aforementioned view of Kilimanjaro (clearest in the early morning and late afternoon when there are no clouds), and for the various families of elephants. David’s vast knowledge of the safaris taught me that almost 200,000 elephants use to roam the grounds in the 80s, whereas now there were only around 2,000 left, such a shame! However, David got us very close to the elephants and we saw families of elephants bathing and crossing the road right in front of our car! We stayed at the Kibo Safari Lodge, which was perfect and with a view of Kilimanjaro right outside our window! Amboseli is second to Masaai Mara on our list of favourites. And thus ended the trip for us with the company, safe to say the experience was massively enjoyable.

Food on the trip was very good - hotel buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Mara Ashnil and Kibo Safari Lodge, and set courses at the Nakuru Sopa Lodge. During the long drives, we had takeaway lunch boxes and plenty of water along the journey. We were fed tremendously well!

Our guide David was very knowledgable and gave valuable insights into the Safaris, animals, and the country and culture of Kenya throughout the whole trip. He was always on hand to answer all of my queries (and I consider myself a curious person so I asked a lot of questions!) and one of the highlights of the trip was just getting to know him and also the country and culture of Kenya through him. His friendly demeanour and enthusiasm rubs off on you and made our trip very enjoyable. He is very highly recommended by us!

After the tour was over, we were dropped off at Wilson airport where we flew on with our own agenda to the coast, with wide smiles on our faces from the highly memorable experience of this safari with Explorer Kenya :)
