About: Kenya
Amazing Trip !
Overall rating
5/5

Highly recommend!
My safari in Kenya was way beyond my expectations. I have been able to see the big 5 (elephants, rhino, leopard, lions, hippos) and a lot of other animals such as girafes, zebras, snakes... even though it was not the tourist season. The people from "Go East Africa Safari" were really helpful and professional. From the moment I booked the safari, Martha was in contact with me to help planning everything (visa, vaccines...) and they arranged pick up at the airport to the hotel and same on the way back. The guide we had during the safari was a very good driver, knowledgeable and was always making sure we had a wonderful time (on the lookout for animals, getting closer to animals to have a good view...).
Food and accommodation were truly amazing as well ! We had a mix between campsites and hotels and it was a very authentic experience.
In terms of places:
- Hell's Gate first which is a place where there are no predators so you can cycle/walk around for 1-2hours and just appreciate being close to animals such as giraffes, zebras, buffalos without being in a car
- Masai Mara after where we saw a lot of animals (cheetahs, lions, leopard, elephants, hyenas, vultures, "pumbas"...)
- Lake Nevasha where it is also possible to walk around animals without predators, see some flamingos, hippos, eagles on the lake
- Lake Nakuru which is the main spot for flamingos and rhinos
- Amboseli was maybe the disappointed part due to the drought that happened so lot of animal carcasses but you can still see a lot of animals. I would suggest doing Amboseli after the rainy season. Nevertheless it is a must-do as you have an amazing view from the kilimanjaro (possible to do a small walk at the bottom of it) and you will be staying at a very nice campsite very close to the reserve.
All in all, it was a truly amazing experience. Don't forget to check out Nairobi (masai market, national museum, local restaurant, bar and shop).

Excellent service
5/5

It was one of my dream trips, it finally came true. We took a private tour which was by far the best option for us. Thanks to the extraordinary effort of our guide Moison, we were able to see the big 5 in one morning. I recommend Aardvark because the organization was excellent and they gave us all the help to minimize the impact of our luggage not arriving on time.

An unforgettable experience with Moises
5/5

They say that Life is the moments that the soul keeps. Well, without a doubt, Tanzania is the most incredible experience I've had in my life. And it is because there is a being of light there called Moses and who has the SOUL of Tanzania in his eyes and in his heart. With him we have lived unforgettable moments with the utmost respect for animals and their environment. I recommend it 100%, with his Safari you will fill your interior with unforgettable experiences.

AquilaVenture stand by and for you, to make your Safari an absolute success.
5/5

When we (2 persons) were looking for a reliable and professional Safari tour operator, Aquila Venture Tours and Safaris came out to be an operator with a very good scoring. It is also not a big company (4 cars) which ensures you have personal contact with the management of the tour operator. We arranged everything 2 months in advance, but this if of course subject to your own schedule, as they can be very flexible and think with you to find the best program. Bakari (management, there are 2 Bakari’s) was helping me out with the planning and the costs via Whatapp. This all went smooth and the communication was good. We payed a small amount in advance, as a deposit / for the lodges.

We first went to Zanzibar and told Bakari which flight we would be on and he confirmed everything was arranged. On the day of arrival, Bakari first came to the airport to welcome us and handle the last part of the payment. This all went very quick and good.

After this, Bakari (guide) came with the Safari car and showed us where we would spend a lot of time in the upcoming days. The car :’)

The Serengeti NP is not around the corner. A lot of the tour operators drive from Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport. Arusha is the fastest way, and so did we. The driving of Bakari was absolutely astonishing. He did so well, especially in the parks, with sometimes extreme rain and flooded, slippery roads, he managed to guide us safely through the park.

The lodges Embalakai and Farm of Dreams were both great. I can recommend them wholeheartedly. If you are in the park and have the chance to sleep in the Embalakai camp, I really advise to do so.

We have seen so many wildlife in just 3 days. The big 5 for sure, but also so much more. Bakari (guide) was so sharp and could see wildlife we did not see with our binoculars. He was just so trained, really impressive.

The lunches and the service was perfect. In the end, we were brought to a hotel in Arusha were we spend the night as our flight was leaving the following morning and Bakari (management) came to the hotel especially to hear from us our experience. Very impressive to see how far the company is going to make sure you had a wonderful time. They even brought us the following day to the airport which was so nice, good service.

They wash the car in between and ensure that after every safari, the car goes to a garage for inspection. Safety and Quality is standing very high for them.

So, the Serengeti NP, Ngorogoro and all that we did, together with Bakari / Aquila Venture Tours and Safari’s was really an amazing experience and I would recommend them to you all.

Bakari’s, thank you for making it a succes.

Brilliant service and well organised
5/5

I booked a trip with Svai Luxe escapes with my sister after being recommended by a few people about their tours in Tanzania. The service from Priyal and her team has been exceptional. Priyal created a custom itinerary for us as we had limited time, we visited Ngorongoro crater, The Serengeti and Zanzinbar. We had an amazing trip and our guide Vincent was fantastic and so knowledgeable as well, we got to see so many amazing animals and all of the big 5! The highlight of the trip was the amazing hot air balloon ride with the epic views. The whole trip went smoothly with the transfers and internal flights and we stayed at some incredible lodges. I would highly recommend Priyal for anyone looking to travel to Tanzania.

Professional
5/5

Our driver Johny was exceptional. He know exactly where to go and what to do and was extremely thoughtful to our group members.
We would not have had such a great experience in looking at all the animals we did. Very professional.

Knowledgeable, kind and punctual
5/5

Dickson was our guide, a kind person who not only knew lots about Masai Mara but about other parks in Kenya too. He told us in detail about the many animals we saw in the park, their family relations and the nature. But he went beyond what's expected of a guide, sharing personal stories from which we learnt heaps about Kenya and Kenyan tribes and Kenyan traditions. The food in Lechanda camp was delicious (though i guess all food would have been after a long safari day) and the tents so big that double beds had been placed in them! All in allo, a wonderful experience!
