The most enjoyable safari.

After having a long conversation with Frank about the current state of Tanzania and the various destinations it has to offer, we decided to book with Serengeti Clarity. Frank was up-to-date on everything and quickly answered all of our questions while creating a perfect itinerary for us. His knowledge and expertise made us feel like we were already in the destination we had been dreaming of. I highly recommend Serengeti Clarity to anyone wishing to visit Tanzania or East Africa in general.

The best tour operator you can imagine - super organised, always friendly, knows the ropes

Our tour guide James was great. We were travelling as a family with our two sons (14 and 17 years old). James drove and guided us through Tanzania for 9 days - to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti, Ngoro Ngoro Crater and Grumeti Reserve and….

We saw and experienced so much: large herds of elephants, families of giraffes, antelopes, eagles, flocks of flamingos, lions in action, hippos, crocodiles on the Grumeti River, buffaloes, impalas, the small antelope dikdik and vultures fighting over the remains of the lions' prey. In the evening zebras walked in front of the tent and at night we heard the hyenas (we could even see them on the night drive). And this was followed by impressive sunrises. We followed the wildebeest and zebra herds on their great migration. We never expected the animals to pass so close to our car. And James even spotted the hard-to-find animals for us: cheetahs, one of the 20 rhinos in the Ngoro Ngoro Crater and a snoozing leopard on one of the rocks in the Serengeti. What a great experience! We also learned a lot about the spectacular, beautiful and diverse nature of Tanzania, visited the indigenous people - the Hadzabes, who showed our boys how they hunt.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the crater highlands in northern Tanzania thrilled us. So did the Olduvai Gorge and the vast plains of savannah in the Serengeti and the verdant Tarangire Park. The camps and resorts were very, very nice and the people working there so friendly and warm.

We had thousands of questions about animals, landscape and Tanzania - James was always patient and answered all our questions. We had a wonderful time together because he had a great sense of humour and is also wonderful with young people. Our sons are completely thrilled with him!

Having such a smart guide with us who has a great sense of humour and speaks excellent German and English was great. It was the best holiday of our lives, it was an unforgettable tour for all of us and an incomparable family holiday. and James the best guide ever.

Thank you so so much! Asante sana. Kwa kila kitu!

Excellent communication and service, and a knowledgeable guide
5/5

I had an excellent experience with Gundua, who were rapid to respond to my questions and were able to adapt their standard safari to offer something that fitted perfectly with my lack of flexibility in timing and specific requirements to offer a custom experience as a solo traveller. I undertook a three day Safari including walking into the Embakaai crater, a full day in the Ngorongoro crater, then return via Lake Manyara - an itinerary that provided dramatic landscapes and a wealth of wildlife. My guide was very knowledgeable and excellent at spotting and identifying wildlife, punctual and reliable. I was delighted with the overall experience which was very good value for money.

We did this 6-day safari with driver/guide Mike and chef Dullah. We can not recommend them and this tour enough!

Mike is very knowledgeable and will answer all your questions, finds the wildlife in the parks and most of all is a very smooth driver. It was always very comfortable in the car even on the most bumpy roads.
Dulllah will make sure that you will never be hungry during the whole Safari and cook some fabulous meals even on the most remote campside.

It is worth noting that we managed to spot all of the big 5 on our trip :)

A beautiful experience…
5/5

This was an amazing experience and I feel lucky and grateful to have experienced it. We saw so many beautiful animals and created memories that I hope will stay with me forever. James, our guide, was kind, patient, charming, easy-going, safe, and wonderful to be around. We laughed together and got so close to the animals while still feeling safe and secure. James is a wonderful guide and our safari was a truly beautiful one. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Please pave a way of road from Ngogorogor to Serengeti, where was terrible road condition of unpaved way, which will increase number of traveller incoming.

The gem of African safaris
Overall rating
5/5

The absolute best experience of African safaris. We have previously been to Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal, South Africa. We liked how nature and animals are treated with respect. Hotels built in nature parks do not have gardens, because the animals must be able to move freely in their area.
People are friendly and helpful.
We really liked our tour company, Ngoni Safaris. Everything was great, from the meeting at the airport. Many thanks to Jolly and Sedrik for organizing a great tour. But the biggest thanks to our excellent guide James, who was very considerate, caring and attentive.
We definitely recommend using this tour operator to everyone and especially to our friends.
The best part of the tour was meeting the gorillas. Those were priceless moments when you can be around them and see their work so closely.

One-week holiday shared between Zanzibar island and Selous NP Tanzania. Zanzibar: warm welcome (karibu), kind people. Scenic costal landscape, great marine life experienced while snorkeling. In some parts unfortunately (e.g. NE coast) daily low tide is an issue, but on the other hand, providing opportunity to long-distance reef-walks, discovering "residual" marine life also to non-diver, non-snorkeler family members.
Our highlight of the trip was definitely the safari to Selous NP in SE Tanzania. Diverse wild life experienced from the closest possible distance, except elephants all desired and expected games observed directly closely, including lion, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, warthog, hippo, hyena, zebra, impalas, aligators, etc. Appeared sometimes just as if we were part of the film "Lion King" :-). Our special thanks to our two NP guides who did their best that we see the most of this wonderful wildlife treasure of the nature!
