Hassle free and very professional service from start to finish
5/5

Tanya was an absolute delight to deal with. From the first phone call she was extremely polite, professional and very eager to facilitate my requests regarding our safari.
Our 3 nights at the V & A Hotel were fabulous and Motswari Game reserve was very nice also. All flights taken with the safari package were great. On arrival at both Cape Town and Hoedspruit airports we were met for our transfer by very warm and friendly people who were more than eager to impart their local knowledge on us. The game viewing on our drive to Motswari was some of the best we encountered whilst staying there.
Would certainly recommend and utilise Discover Africa again. Many thanks Tanya for a memorable trip.

About: Uganda
Once in a lifetime trip!
Overall rating
5/5

We booked a 6 day trip with the tour company Home to Africa through this site. Everything about the trip was amazing. The wildlife and beauty of Uganda was amazing and the hospitality of the people is un-paralleled compared to every place in the world we had ever been. We bought a superzoom camera prior to the trip and it was so worth it. We encountered animals that were close enough we could touch and animals that we were glad weren't that close. A good camera is a must!

Nothing can compare to coming face to face with a gorilla and investigating each other from within an arms reach or seeing a pride of lions on the hunt. If you have ever wanted to see Africa, Uganda is the place to go. Food was great too and our guide was the best. Isaac Tugume was like family by the end of the trip and was so insightful, kind, and patient.

Pilanesberg with Willem
5/5

Willem picked me up at my hotel in Johannesburg at 3am (yes, that was really early) to be first at the park entrance. Even though it was raining that morning we still saw a lot of animals. Willem was very knowledgable about them, including all of the smaller ones. His vehicle was great, and considering it is a 2.5h ride from Joburg to the park, comfort does make a difference.

I would highly recommend Willem as a tour guide to any of my friends. You will have a great experience.

a once in a lifetime adventure
5/5

We did a 3 day safari in Manyara, Ngorongoro and Tarangire, with Lewis our driver. Everything was beyond my expectations. Lewis was extremely nice, we saw plenty of wildlife, the food was very good and accomodation in small huts was lovely. Easy contact with the manager to organize the trip beforehand.
Thanks again for this great experience!

Great experience with an excellent guide!
5/5

I can only recommend this tour operator. Very kind communication in advance with Amelia, who replied quickly on all requests and provided us with all necessary information in advance. The tour itself was great and our tour guide Jaco was perfect: very kind, very experienced and sharing with us his huge knowledge on South Africa and all animals. He really loves his job. It was very interesting and we were all the time very happy to have booked this tour with Red Africa Safaris. We did not have to care about anything, Jaco took very well care of everything. And he's an excellent cook by the way :-).
Thank you so much again for this amazing trip! We learned so many things about the animals and the birds and we much appreciated all the information, we got during this tour. Looking already forward to finding another trip to book with Red Africa Safaris. Thanks again!

Wildlife Viewing at Queen Elizabeth National Park
5/5

During our 5 days trip we got chance to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park. Wildlife here is kind of good but not as such in Kenya, Tanzania, or Botswana. That is why we said strongly to recommend visiting and supporting Ugandan wildlife and conservation efforts made by authorities. Actually this Park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, which while hard to locate would be a very rewarding game-viewing experience.

This Park is so much broad that it is splits into two areas, one as the northern section (Kasenyi) and other one the southern section (Ishasha). We found some lions in Kasenyi and were very lucky to find a leopard in Ishasha. It is apparently more common to find lions in the trees in Ishasha but they do also climb up into the cactus candelabras in Kasenyi.

QENP is surrounded by and even home to many human settlements and At the end of the day we meet to some life population. With the support of tourists and Ugandan Wildlife Authority and the Ugandan government, this place will defiantly have a bright future of diversity ahead.
