We did a customised 4 days trip which was a honeymoon trip with my husband . Rosalinda, the manager, is a very responsible and reliable person and helped me a lot to plan the trip with quick and precise responses. The driver, Dan, was professional and joyful and thanks to him we could see great wild animals. I feel lucky to have booked with Hyraxsafari, and hope this comment help other people who are currently planning their best trip to Kenya:)

Five star budget safari experience
What a fantastic experience. Barto was so helpful with the booking and answering all of my million questions. You can tell he really cares about the company and the tours — showing his face multiple times for questions and feedback.
Our guide Felix could not have been better. He was friendly, helpful and super informative. He really has a passion for the animals and it shows. His eye for spotting the animals was on another level. He spotted a rhino from what seemed like a mile away. He got us so close to 3 cheetahs and 4 leopards which was my goal of the safari. He really listened to what we wanted to see and somehow made it happen. He helped us hang out with the animals all by ourselves instead of relying on the radio and other guides. We saw multiple hunts and so many lions it was amazing. This man has an amazing work ethic, sometimes driving for 12 hours a day.
Dula, the chef, was also fantastic. I have been on safari before where the food was so bad. Dula’s food was always great and he put in so much effort. He was up so early to make our food experience special and it really was. His home made bread made in a metal box was pretty unbelievable.
Overall I really did have a 5 star experience in my 6 day budget safari. The Serengeti is amazing and hands down my favorite park in Africa. Serengeti Wakanda exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend.

Lion King Adventures, provide superior service and guided tours
Our once in a lifetime dream safari trip, came true! Lion King made arranging the safari easy while providing great options and communications of changes. Many safari’s were more expensive, while our safari went beyond our high expectation. Our guide, was an expert at finding animals, ensuring we were present for a Wildebeast migration across the Mara twice in one day and seeing almost 100 lions and other large cats, our personal favorite. Wonderful first safari experience
the safari in tanzania was a marvelous human adventure but you have to be in great shape, you spend hours locked up in the 4*4.
The locals are very welcoming and we are happy to discover their great diversity. The fauna is varied, very present although often asleep.
I was surprised by the rather cool temperature in August, the pools in the Serengeti are difficult to swim. the evening atmosphere in the camps is captivating.

Amboseli National Park - Beautiful
Amboseli National Park was beautiful – diverse wildlife and landscape. Immediately saw zebras, lions, elephants, hippos, ostriches, and wildebeests. Highly recommend. Long day trip to/from Nairobi, but doable.

Authenticity
That was my first time on safari and it was amazing and unforgettable. I met wonderful people, I enjoyed every second of being there and coming closer to the bush. The whole atmosphere was unique, all the people working there are incredible. I really appreciate all their time and effort of walking with us, accompanying us everywhere, being attentive to us and being polite. They are real humans!

Breathtaking, grounding, great energy, going back to a Pole Pole life
Our experience in Tanzania with Colours Africa Tours exceeded our expectations. We had the best guide, his passion about wildlife and Tanzania is highly contagious!
We chose the 3 days safari (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Hot Springs in Chemka): there is not one day where our mind wasn't blown away.
The animals, the landscapes, the energy, the people...
Zanzibar was our dream, we decided to make the most of the trip and also spend these three days in Tanzania.
It was the best decision. We felt so small in front of the immensity of untouched nature. The beauty, the serenity, the majesty of the animals, the silence... it made us feel grounded, connected to the world somehow.
The people from Tanzania made us feel welcome, every day and everywhere. The human experience was incredible, we learned a lot, we shared a lot and we came back richer in the mind.
There is something about Zanzibar, coming from an island, we felt it again there: whatever you do, you will want to come back. It's magnetic, it's powerful...it's life made so much simpler.
"Pole pole" is one of the words we will remember. We took the time, we paused from our frenetic Western European lifestyle.
We will never forget about Tanzania, asante sana for the love.

Safari beyond expectations
We had an amazing experience.
Planning:
We had to reschedule 3 times due to Covid and other travel restrictions. Paul was very patient with me with all our changes. In the end we went with a private 8 days safari
Day 1 Arusha

Day 4-5 central Serengeti
Day 6-7 north Serengeti
Day 8 fly to Zanzibar

The jeep was clean and reliable.
Our guide was James, he was flexible to our schedule and always made sure we had the best time seeing all the animals. We saw all the big fives and the great migration river crossing

Honestly amazing!
We have just returned after doing a 10 night wild safari trip with Gideon and his team. We visited Morami, Kwarhi, Savute and the Xhobe River and it was was all absolutely amazing! Gideon is so knowledgable about the animals and birds, he often detected where the animals where before he saw them, just by watching the behaviour of other wildlife. We really wanted to see the wild dog and hoped that we just might catch a glimpse as they are very rare- Gideon managed to track down a pack of 22 including their pups and they had just done a kill! He got us up close and personal but always making sure we were safe whilst respecting the animals too, we saw female lions protecting their young from a male lion and the list goes in and on! A special mention too to Wilson, our chef - he cooked us wholesome tasty food and always with a smile on his face. The memories we made will stay with us forever- this was our 4th African safari but by far the best- thank you Gideon and his team- you are the best!
