Great Safari experience on budget!
We had a 5-day Safari tour with Lenchada Safaris, spent 3 days in Mara, 1 day in Nakuru and 1 day in Navaisha.
John was our guide/driver, he is great, very knowledgeable and funny. We got to see lions, cheetahs, leopard, elephants and many more. We stayed at Lenchada Camp, at first sight (from the outside) it looks very minimalist (don't expect to see a nice garden/flowers) but the tents are very comfy, nice and clean, you have your own shower (with hot water) and your own toilet. To eat and charge your phones you have a common reception room. The camps rely on renewable energy and use generators in the evenings from 6-10pm and 7-10am (if I recall correctly), when you can charge all your device. Note when on Safari, the Land Cruiser also has plugs).
After Mara, we spent a lot of time in the car, traveling to Nakuru to visit Nakuru National Park, where we saw flamingos, Rhinos. We also did some rock climbing that was scary but super cool. We stayed at Lanet martfam resort. We then went to Navaisha, it was raining so we had to shorten the boat trip (we were offered to do it the next day but we were a bit tired with drive so decided not to), we stayed at Dove nest lodge. Both Lanet and Dove are 3 stars hotels, are clean they are good enough for budget hotels.
From a culinary perspective, the food was not great, (I guess you don't necessarily go to safaris for the food experience) but the places were clean overall and no case of food poisoning.
Overall very good Safari experience on budget. I think 3 days in Mara would have been enough personally, just because you tend to spend a lot of time in the car. But John our guide made every effort to make sure we enjoyed ourself. A big thank you to Alex and his team for organising the Safari tour. We made great memories there!

Caring
I’m so thankful for the tour guide I had, Dixon. I got to sit in the front seat next to him, so he was constantly sharing snacks with me. He worked really hard to help us see all the animals on safari, which was harder for our trip because there has not been enough rain. I was especially grateful that he made sure I was able to get a taxi home after we returned to Nairobi since my phone was having problems and I couldn’t get an Uber. He made sure I didn’t pay a crazy price and that I had a reliable driver.

Review about Kruger National Park by Tyler W.
On the particular day that we went, we didn't see much wildlife, however on other days, some Safari members mentioned they saw a lot of animals. The landscape was fairly uniform without much variation.

Review about Hwange National Park by Lynne Ryno
Loved the scenery and abundant wildlife. It was a great time to be there as there many more animals than people.

One word will do. Brilliant
We visited Tanzania in October 2022, and we loved it. The people were friendly and our Savannah Explorers driver/guide was fantastic. A lovely, knowledgeable man who did everything he could to make our visit a success.
It’s an amazing country with wildlife in abundance, huge numbers of healthy happy animals, beautiful birds and lovely people. We travelled to 4 different parks, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, The Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater.
We then moved to Zanzibar for 10 days, which wasn’t the perfect paradise island I anticipated, built up and heavily populated. However, our hotel was lovely Double Tree Hilton, and the people very welcoming.
I have told all our friends this is the country to go to for Safaris, and I can say this with all honesty, it’s a fantastic place to visit and we loved it

Beautifully diverse landscapes with very friendly people and awe inspiring wildlife
South Africa exceeded my expectations—the weather when I went on my Safari was perfect (85 F or 28 C). The people were especially friendly and accommodating, and overall seemed like a very happy people. The landscape was often pristine and green, especially as we approached the parks. My safari experience was incredibly easy to navigate with a pickup at my AirBnB and transport directly to our accommodations near the park. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, and zebras in the first day and many many more types of animals along the way—what an incredible time. The food was prepared by the local staff and we had a wonderful variety of delicious meals.

Unforgettable experience
We had the most unforgettable experience with Hekima safaris. It was a group of friends trip and we decided to go to Tanzania for a 5 day safari. It felt like the most authentic memorable experience from the moment we arrived in Arusha and met with Hekima team.
They took care of us as if we had known one another a few decades ago! I mean seriously, if you want to experience an incredible safari adventure, do no go anywhere else!
Our guides were very knowledgeable and we learned so much from them. Thank you Hekima safari for going above and beyond to make our trip an excellent experience, and we've made a friend in Africa.

Very friendly staff, superb tourguide!!!
Staff is very friendly. Kennedy was an outstanding tourguide. He knows a lot about the wildlife and went the extra mile in order to see the big 5.
The whole booking process was smoothly and everything was well organized (receiving flight tickets, pick up from my lodge in Zanzibar, transfer to airport, pick-up from airstrip…)
The only thing I did not like was the fact that european food was served like Spaghetti…I Wohls prefer more local food. That is why I am only giving 4 stars.
