One super experience. We were picked up in our hotel in Zanzibar: the drivers were perfectly punctual and the vehicles were safe and reliable. From Dar Es Salaam to the camp we could also have a little chat with our driver during the journey which was extremely welcomed and prepared us for the experience. Africa safari camp is legally speaking outside the Savannah but it's like being IN the Savannah, as the animals kind of don't respect the park borders, who knows why...xD. It's perfectly safe though, the camp staff is continuously controlling the area and you are always escorted to your hut. The journey to the park itself from Dar Es Salaam is an experience: you see how the houses and villages change and get more and more immersed in nature. The natural and cultural landscapes are of course astounding and need no further commentary. All the staff in the camp was extremely helpful, especially the Masai who safely escorted us to our hut. We would like to personally thank our boat and drive game safari guide and driver: Alfa Lunga and Omari, who were absolutely familiar with the park and made us see as many animals as possible and were always available if we had questions. Last but not least we have to thank our bushman guide and teacher Doctor Simba: we learned so much from the bush walking experience and could feel at home in nature, my husband is particularly pride of what he learned during this experience and began to practice in our hotel room back in Zanzibar. This experience, especially the last day made us understand why many Europeans refer to this continent as "Mother Africa": you feel you have finally come back home even though you haven't actually ever been there. We cannot recommend Uwanda and the Nyerere experience enough.

All game rides were fun and Ayoub tried his best to show us the animals with patience and smile. We travelled with our 4 year old son and he was really good with him.

This is an amazing safari tour service that will craft the perfect vacation specific to your needs! I traveled with my family of 5 (kids ages 12, 13, 15) to South Africa this past month and we felt like every detail of our trip was very organized and planned out. We told them upfront some very specific things we wanted to see, as well as the type of accomodations we would like and they gave us a short list of venues to choose from. From there we selected the perfect trip. Leading up to the trip we were contacted often about updates in the planning and all my many questions were answered. With our kids with us we wanted to make sure we were guaranteed the family style accomodations and adjoining rooms, etc and they made sure this happened which really made a difference! The trip turned out to be so magical and amazing! We felt safe with our transfer drivers and they always showed up early and gave us a great experience. Superb safari!
We had an amazing experience with Immanuel as our Guide from Safari direct Tanzania! We spent 6 unbelievable days with him in the Safari and it exceeded our expectations!
We had so many great moments and close encounters with the animals thanks to Immanuel finding the best places and his incredible ability to spot the animals. He was very professional and knowledgable about all the animals, plants, ecology and culture, and answered all questions we had.
All in all we felt really taken care of perfectly, and we will think back to this incredible time on Safari for a very long time!

Great experience with Safari Direct! E-mail communication was prompt and seamless throughout the planning process—including when our flight to Tanzania was delayed by nearly 12 hours! Our guide, David, was an excellent driver on difficult roads, and even stopped to rescue some stranded motorists. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife, and helped make sure we saw every animal we wanted to see (even a rare serval!). Our lodgings and food were also excellent. We had a great time, and would definitely recommend.

Best tour operators hands down! Starting with answering all of our questions prior to booking and always available for advice on how to prepare for the trip. Communications directly from the owner Bahati, who was always reassuring and also showed up several times during the trip to ensure our satisfaction.
Our tour guide Mobutu was very informative and gave us a fun safe drive throughout the tour. Last but not the least was our wonderful cook, Mudy who consistently delivered some of the best meals we had throughout our entire visit to Tanzania! Yes we did notice other tours providing sandwiches to their clients while we’re eating like we are in highly rated restaurant.
