Once in a Lifetime to see Incredible Animals
Spirit of Kenya was a fantastic experience. From start to finish they were responsive, professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. The vehicle was comfortable and was worth the upgrade to the Land Cruiser. This was especially felt during our long drives (5hrs) between the parks. But also provided us the opportunity to see Kenya outside of the tourism. Our guide Bonnie was fun, respectful, and experienced. We would happily work with him again and recommend him to anyone. The accommodation was unforgettable (specifically Enashipai Resort & Spa). We saw 4 of the big 5 on our various drives. Including lion cubs and a hunt/kill. I genuinely believe we would not have seen all of these without Bonnie. We were often the first car to arrive at an animal location.

We enjoyed the journey to the Serengeti and the other spots. Nice people, great scenery, wildlife and perfect organisation.

Great company delivering a mind-blowing experience
From initial communications with Francisco, everything was great. Organising a custom itinerary for a private tour and keeping in regular contact with us throughout.
From using my branding on the vehicle (unrequested, a very nice touch), to collecting us at the airport and transferring us to the hotel.
Amani the guide was a great host, helping out with issues on check-in at the hotel, his eyesight (without binoculars) was incredible, spotting animals from distances we needed binoculars to identify!
We picked the food up at the start of the safari from local suppliers, the chef created some remarkable meals from scratch while camping, incredible what Cabello managed to create.
Everything was organised perfectly, we had some incredible animal experiences and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lappet Faced Safaris to anyone and everyone.

They listened to our criteria, designed a fabulous trip tailored to our interests and v responsive.
After interviewing a few tour groups we decided to go with Giltedge Africa and are we glad we did. We explained our interests to our agent, Tamera, and she came up with a fantastic itinerary. Our interests took us to four different accommodations and five countries in Southern Africa. Tamera's suggestions of how to schedule our trip were on the money. We visited each area in just the right sequence for maximum enjoyment. The accommodations, guides and drivers Giltedge arranged for us were first class, we were very well taken care of.
We had excellent communications with our agent who was on call 24/7. She promptly returned emails and texts and always answered our calls. She was very obliging even when we would repeat a question that she had already answered. Thanks to Tamera listening to our interests she developed the most wonderful, varied and fulfilling vacation we have ever had.
We look forward to scheduling our next trip with Giltedge Africa.

Wonderful!
I had a wonderful experience in Tanzania thanks to "Safari Adventure" and I was wonderfully impressed by the excellent organization and admired beauties. A particular note on diseases and risks: I discovered with great pleasure that Tanzania is one of the safest African states ever: in fact, there is no vaccination requirement if you arrive by plane. The guides are very prepared and available. Comparing myself with other tourists who came with other agencies, I was able to see how my guides were able to identify many more animals and suggestive places. Very comfortable cars equipped with all comforts, such as a mini-bar, adventurous and wild itineraries. I have seen many animals, from large herbivores to predators, all very close. Then birds, various monkeys and much more. Very hospitable and characteristic indigenous tribes ... in short, everything perfect! An experience that I would like to redo shortly!

On safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Meru Slopes Tours was unforgettable beautiful!
I went for 3 days on Safari with Meru Slopes Tours to Serengeti and Ngorongoro and it was wunderfull. The night before I slept in the Arusha Tourist Inn hotel; also from the owner off Meru Slopes& Tours; a basic but clean hotel; just good! Too see the animals in there naturale habitat was realy moving for me. During this 3 days I received very much respect for our driver and guide Benson who tireless drove us around so we could see as much animals as possible. I think we saw all off them; the big five, zebra's, impala's, monkeys, gnoes, etc etc. The roads were sometimes fairly heavy because it rained some days before, but for Benson it was no problem at all. He also give us a lot of information about the animals. A realy nice guy!just as our happy cook Mathew who prepared lovely, nutritious meals for us 3 times a day. Both guys made this safari great! The tents on the campingsite were we spend 2 nights were also good! The toilets and douches were clean and...unbelieveble but also there Free Wifi! During the night a zebra grazed next to my tent and 2 elephants were just passing by the campsite, but it was never dangerous. It was an experience I never will forget.

Murchison and Nile river cruise
We took a lovely river cruise to the base of Murchison Falls during our 3 day tour with the help of Frena Adventures. It was Best to sit on the Left side of the boat for the best views of the wild life, also chance to see Hippos. We then disembarked, and climb up with the path adjacent to the falls, taking in spectacular views that you could not see from the boat. Not such a difficult climb but the day we climbed in early February, so it was about 45 degrees C, and some of climbers got heat stroke. Advice is to bring plenty of water and wear a hat and sunscreen. Overall a great experience at the beautiful sight. Thanks to Frena Adventures!!

Poor experience
Never in my life have I written a negative review, so I honestly feel bad about this post. However, if I were a potential customer of Tanzania Mwangaza Safari, I would want to know this information.
I was volunteering at a hospital in Dar es Salaam for a few weeks and decided to splurge on a safari at the end of my trip. I chose this safari company because they were affordable ($1450 USD) and offered a 4 day/ 3 night trip that fit my time constraints. The communication and payments prior to the trip were excellent. Turns out that nobody else signed up for this particular trip so it ended up being just myself and the driver.
Day 1 - Departed right on time and the day went completely as expected on route to Selous. We did get delayed for 1.5 hour behind multiple trucks stuck in the mud and blocking the road, but that just goes with the territory of travel. Went on an evening boat trip with another group, with a French speaking guide, but he was nice enough to offer some info in English to me.
Day 2 - Driver showed up 1 hour late then had me wait while he went to the restaurant and ate breakfast. We then drove to Selous entrance gate where we waited another 1.5 hour for him to locate a guide for the day. I watched in envy as dozens of others tourists arrived in plane and jeep and went on safari while we sat on the side of the road waiting for the guide to arrive from the neighboring village. I just chalked it up to inconveniences associated with a budget minded safari. Other than that, it was a great day in the park with many animals seen.
Day 3 - Driver showed up 1 hour late again. The day was supposed to be a sort of game drive on our way through Selous park on our way to an afternoon game drive in Mikumi park. The driver told me he needed to drive quickly so he would not incur additional park fees. As a result, absolutely zero wildlife viewing happened as we drove at 70 kph through Selous. I thought the vehicle might completely come apart as we sped along the rough roads. We ended up with three flat tires we throughout that day. The spare tire and jack were not suited for the fixes so the driver and I spent hours that day collecting stones in the brush, crawling in the mud under the jeep to precariously prop up the vehicle, and stopping at a roadside tire shop. I am amazed that one of us did not get seriously injured they way we were forced to rig the jeep for the tire changes as the jack and stones repeatedly did not hold thus dropping the vehicle violently back to the ground. It took us 14.5 hours to make it to Mikumi that day so our planned afternoon safari definitely did not take place. It is a budget trip and all part of the adventure, right?
Day 4 - We made plans to go on a half day game drive in Mikumi prior to our drive back to Dar. Unfortunately, the driver showed up 2 hours late that day and was unreachable by phone. Mikumi was beautiful , but we only had two hours in the park before we had to make the 8.5 hr (normally much quicker, but we had to drive slowly because of the tires) trip back to the city.
I realize I am incredibly fortunate just to have the opportunity to go on safari in Tanzania. Perhaps my expectations were far too high for a budget safari. Looking at their current reviews, it appears I am one of the only customers to have a less than optimal experience with Mwangaza so take this negative review with a grain of salt. However, when I look back and realize we spent 31 hours driving, 8 hours waiting for the driver and fixing flat tires for only 8 hours of actual safari related time, I feel this trip was far from worthwhile in terms of time and cost.
In summary, even though the people at Mwangaza were very nice, I personally had a very poor experience with them.

The trip with Zohar too the Hadzabe en Dagota tribes was very wel organized and very interesting
Zohar booked for me one night in The Retreat at Ngorongoro which was a wunderfull place; looks like a paradice. The staff ,service and 'dinner in this hotel was perfect. The other day David, the ecxcelent driver off Zohar brought me too the Hadzabe and too the Dagotatribe; to meet this people who were very hospitable and friendly and to see how they live was for me an experience I never will forget. With some guys from de Hadzabetribe we went on a tripp into the woods too see how they hunt ; really great! Lilian, the owner off Zohar organised everything very wel and gave me a lott off information about Tanzania. I also stayed one night in the B&B beside here house which was also a very clean, quiet and beautifull place.
