Motocross
Joseph is a driver par extraordinaire! We saw FOUR wildebeest crossings at the Mara River, thanks to Joseph’s deep knowledge of the animals’ habits, great communication with the other safari drivers, and especially thanks to his safe yet thrilling driving capabilities. We were parked a few hundred yards from the riverbank, eating our breakfast in some shade, and enjoying tea and coffee (in china cups!), when all of a sudden, Joseph’s wildlife photographer friends in another car yelled to him that the herd was about to cross. He got us quickly resettled, and we raced off to the bank like a Motocross race, bumping up and down and speeding across the plain, laughing uproariously the whole time. And it happened 3 more times as the herd on the (close to) Kenya side of the Mara, changed directions and moved upriver to 3 different crossings! It was the thrill of a lifetime!!
Joseph’s knowledge of the animals’ habits and his “laser vision” meant we saw the Big Five on day one of our safari, including rhinos from a distance. We saw two kills, a pride of six young lions and an adult female napping maybe 15-20 feet from the car, leopards in trees, giraffes that stared at us from the roadside, “nursery” elephant herds with many, many babies, and a bucket-list site for this Anthropology nerd, Olduvai Gorge.
An amazing, thrilling, beautiful, superbly well-organized safari.

Great experience, super accommodating.
We booked a 3 day safari very last minute after finishing a work assignment in the area. While our original lodge wasn’t available, Wayne and his team found us an arguably even better place to stay. We loved it so much we extended our trip by a few days and ended up with 5 days in the bush. Saw all the Big 5 within 2 game drives and had the most incredible experience. Transfers to and from JBurg were seamless and cannot recommend Wayne and his team enough; they were so accommodating when we extended our trip at the 11th hr. Highly recommend and will be sending my friends and family their way!!!

Well organized company with attention for your desires
We had a great safari with Safari Soles. Nothing to worry about during your trip because everything is well organized for you: airport transport, great lodges, great food, save & secure holiday. Simon, our guide, gave us a wonderfull experience. We saw the big five and have awesome pictures thanks to Simon's knowledge what the best spot is to see the animal. You also get the learn a lot about the Tanzanian culture thanks to Simon. After our safari we stayed a day longer than planned, Simon and Bryson organized an extra excursion without extra payment. Amazing company and People, perfect for an outstanding experience

I had an amazing experience the whole period I was in Kenya courtesy of Trevaron Tours and Travel. From our pick up point at a hotel in Nairobi to the flight to Masai Mara and two night stay at Fairmont Mara hotel. Hannah really helped us in coming up with the perfect itinerary for our entire stay. Our guide David was simply perfect on all of our game drives, he is extensively knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. Trevaron Tours and Travels are simply the best. We had quality time out in the wild. Flight back to our hotel in Nairobi and pickup from the airport was all included. We went for the luxury package and it was well worth it. Professionally executed, thank you Trevaron Tours and Travel.

New Horizon and Emmanuel were fantastic.
I am just back from this trip. I had a wonderful time. I was lucky to be the only one on the tour so I had Emmanuel as my exclusive guide. We toured this amazing country together and I was amazed at the beauty, the friendliness of the people and, considering the history, the positivity of Rwanda. It’s astounding really.
Highlights were visiting the gorilla guardians village, the stunning views of Lake Kevu and despite the subject, visiting Murambi.
If you have already seen gorillas, are not interested in gorillas or feel they should be left in peace, this is the tour to take. You get to see and experience the entire country and you get to hear from a really lovely guide Emmanuel.

A great experience, would highly recommend
Having arranged my tour of Nairobi National Park at only one day's notice, Danson picked me up from my hotel at 0600hrs. He was incredibly friendly and we shared good conversation on the way to the park and throughout the drive. Once we arrived, Danson was incredibly knowledgeable of the Park's layout and where to best spot the animals. On our drive, Danson spoke to me about the animals in the park and their behaviours as we spotted them, we saw Lions, White and Black Rhinos (close encounter with white rhino mother and calf by the lake), Buffalo, Giraffes (at one point we saw a pair necking), Hippos, Ostriches (with 50 young), Zebra, Wildebeest, Hartebeest, Eland, Impala, Thompson's and Grant's Gazelle, Warthogs, Vultures, Storks, and a Secretary bird. Danson was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the species and made every effort to ensure my trip was enjoyable.
Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, with great service and at a very reasonable price. I would encourage anyone looking to go on safari in Kenya to go through Danson; I certainly will when I return.
