Best Tour Guide Peter!
Our guide Peter was fantastic. He has very sharp eyes to point out the animals that I never would have seen. He is also extremely knowledgeable about each animal and how they live and behave. The game drives were so informative and engaging! We were situated closely with giraffes, elephants, and lions.
As a person, Peter is very very kind. We had many laughs and stories during our 3 days with him. From recommendations about different restaurants to stories about his children and life, I was always very comfortable talking with him. He stopped at the Great Rift Valley for me so that I could take pictures and even assisted us with booking train tickets to Mombasa. I am happy to have made such a lovely friend during an exciting excursion. I cannot recommend Peter enough!!

Expectations greatly exceeded! Fantastic value for the price.
Originally we had plans to travel to another country but due to Covid restrictions, we changed plans and decided on a trip to Kenya. Even though it was with short notice Daniel was able to plan a great customized 7 day safari trip for us seeing a variety of parks in Kenya. Communication with him was great and so fast to respond to questions and concerns. I believe because they are a small and newer safari company makes them better than the competition because they are so accommodating and try so hard to make the experience great by exerting extra efforts to see all the animals and birds possible. Although the company is young, the guides we went out with(Daniel & James) were very experienced and knowledgeable, having more than 10-15 years experience each giving such tours. Everything that was promised/agreed upon was fulfilled and this is a very good and rare attitude/quality to find in the travel industry.

Well curated Safari!
My husband and I took 3 day safari with Safari Update Travels. They were very responsive from the moment we made an enquiry to the end of our safari. Linsel and Silas staff at Safari Updates warmly received us at the airport and we started feeling safe and at home from that moment. James was our driver for the entire safari. He was always on time and very helpful with organizing everything. He made it feel like a well curated trip with a very knowledgeable friend. He knows where to spot the animals and drives with good orientation skills. We highly recommend Safari Updates. Hope to come back!!

From the moment I started communicating with the team a Safari Update Travels I could tell that they were professional, and service-oriented. Linsel was very helpful with the planning.
Our driver Simon arrived on time. He was showed us all the animals we hoped to see and he's all about the good vibes. I was laughing the entire safari.
We were well treated at the camp, had breakfast by the Mara river, nice sundowner, and replenishing dinner in the evenings which is what we needed after a long day of safari. The camp had stable internet, hot water and we were surrounded by the most beautiful nature. From the camp, we could see the hippos and crocodiles in the water and one hippo was known and heard to visit the camp. We also got packed lunch.
The itinerary was exhaustive and we were more than happy when coming back to Nairobi.
Next time we will definitely book an extra day as we were a little sad to leave. Kudos Safari Update Travels.

Amazing safari
I have just come back from an amazing safari week with Meektrails. The organization was so good and locations booked by Daniel were too nice. Thank you for the guide Steve, he was very professional and has a good knowledges, it was interesting to learn about a lot of animals. I was traveling alone but I felt very safe with Meektrails family. It was also nice to meet Phyllis who comes to the hotel the first day to provide more details about the program and make sure everything is going well. So thank you all for this nice experience.

Best 7-day Safari with great price-benfit ratio
We did a 7-day tour (Amboseli - Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru -Maasai Mara) with Joe, our amazing, super knowledgeable, helpful, welcoming and flexible guide! All of the lodges we stayed at (mid range offer) were very nice, directly within the national parks with game drives starting off from the gates of the lodges. Wildlife viewing couldn't have been better - we saw all big 5 and Joe always adapted to us and tried his best to provide us the best experience possible! I highly recommend the tour in the order above as it perfectly builds up to the most exciting animals in Maasai Mara, the cats! Big thanks again to Joe who was not only able to answer all of our questions regarding the parks, animals and the country (we had A LOT!), but also helped us with booking train tickets to Mombasa and more!
Overall, I highly recommend Joe and the tour from Mufasa!

2 day 1 night safari to Mikumi National Park from Dar Es Salaam, booked through an aggregator site. Lenny responded quickly with a comprehensive email, and a very good price. We discussed a few details and confirmed the booking a few hours later.
I was picked up from my address at the agreed time. Comfortable drive to Mikumi, with a couple of rest stops along the way. Lenny was happy to answer any questions on the drive.
At Mikumi, I was met by my guide Ladislaus and driver Omali. Switched to the open top land cruiser vehicle. I was lucky enough to have the vehicle all to myself. We had a great game drive, and were lucky enough to see a pair of lions mating right near our vehicle! Lots of giraffes, zebras, antelope, buffaloes, elephants and many other animals and birds seen through the day. The hippo pool was full due to recent heavy rains, so saw some partially submerged hippos. Ladislaus and Omali did a fantastic job, and were happy to go at my pace.
We stayed overnight in a comfortable and clean lodge with an attached bathroom as well as air-conditioning.
All meals included, and pick up and drop included.
Going Green is highly recommended, and I will definitely be contacting them again on my next visit!

Trip of a lifetime with the best team!
It is so hard to put into words how incredible this trip has been! We expected to have a great time, but our expectations were far surpassed.
We are 2 friends who came from the UK on a last minute trip to Kenya. It has been so easy to organise our safari experience through Earthwings, even though it was very last minute! Communication was easy and all our queries were answered.
This has truly been a trip of a lifetime. We enjoyed ourselves from the beginning of the journey right up until the end. Lake Naivasha (an extra part of the trip) was incredible- we saw hippos, different birds and giraffes grazing on crescent island.
Lake Nakuru was amazing! The hotel was so beautiful, the food was DELICIOUS, and the game drives were spectacular. The main highlights were seeing white rhinos a few feet away, and herds of zebras having their morning drink.
Last but not least- the Masai Mara. Frederick and Martin went above and beyond to make our experience the best we could have hoped for. Not only did we see the big 5, we saw amazing scenes of predators feeding, families playing and giraffes fighting. Martin and Frederick are very knowledgable and made our game drives so entertaining.
The hotels (Sarova) were beautiful, with delicious food and the kindest, most friendly people you’ll ever meet.
I could not recommend this team more- they’ve given us so many incredible memories, and have been so accommodating. We are so sad to be ending our journey, and are super grateful to Martin and Frederick for all the laughs, the stories and the animals!
