Professional, flexible, knowledgable, reliable, friendly, treats you like family rather than guest
5/5

You will probably find 100s of companies organizing safaris in Kenya, many on this platform. It can be very frustrating to organize yourself a trip that far away, in a country you know little about and for most, it is after all, a major investment, a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Where do you start from then? How do you choose among dozens of offers? You can buy a "ready package", like most companies on this platform offer but isn't it better to buy something that is more custom-made to your own needs and budget?

i would start definitely with somebody who will immediately and reliably answer your myriad questions! On Whatsup, day or night, early or late the answer will come! With somebody who will not sell you a "canned' vacation like most do but take time and effort to adapt it to your group, interests, time constraints, budget and needs! Somebody who will out-of-their heart consult you what is good, what is not worth it, what to see, where to go, not seeking to make money on you on "so-and-so" choices but give you the best Kenya experience you can have! Somebody who will help you meet your safari expectations, maybe greatly exceed them! Somebody who does it with passion, because they love their country and are proud of it and they want you to show you the best of it! Somebody who is a perfectionist and the minute you set foot in Nairobi they take you by the hand like a child, care about your safety and well-being along all of your trip and guide you through this wonderful country and its friendly residents!

Silas and his Team at APODIFORMES is that person you want to trust to organize your Kenya safari trip simply because he and the APODIFORMES TEAM have managed to nearly touch the Holy Grail of tourism: make you feel like a LOCAL, at home, make feel you like one of their own FAMILY!

Asante Silas and Isaiah and everybody else involved organizing for us for this truly phenomenal and memorable 12 day Kenyan safari and beach vacation in Diani, we promise to be back soon to visit more of Kenya, we return charmed by the beauties of the Kenyan landscapes, parks, wildlife, beaches, ocean, reefs but mostly, by the sincerity, politeness, smiles and goodwill of its wonderful people.

Hakuna Matata to all!

I had an awesome safari with my daughter. We had the opportunity to see the big 5 animals. Very delighted that Angelina took note of our dietary requirments. It was a nice experience having used Magical Angel Destinations Safaris as our tour agent.

Incredible Experience, but not for the faint of heart, mind, or body!
5/5

Kenya is not for the faint of heart, mind, body, spirit or nose. (This coming from the guy with one of the world’s worst gag reflexes.)

AND. It is totally worth it, if you have what it takes.

Kenya has some of the most incredible, powerful landscapes I have seen, and hands down thus far the worst trash, everywhere. I am happy to attempt cultural distinctions for many things, this is not one of them. Poverty is everywhere, and even solving for that still doesn’t solve for trash.

My time with the Maasai, was brief, but powerful. They have some cultural practices I vehemently disagree with (male and female circumcision, child brides, but the government is trying to stop these) but the immense amount of litter in their village came from Coca-Cola, not ancient tribal practices. Just prepare yourself. They are a very funny and warm people who definitely have run into the wall that can be the future.

It was, of course, so stunning to see all the animals, we easily saw the “Big 5” more than once, and babies of those animals, everywhere. even if the stink of “tourista” is all over these activities, I accept that’s what I must be, if I wanted to see a rhino before they’re all killed by morons, stuck in nonsense superstitions. (Zero moral relativism for such things.) Being so close to them, seeing all their young, gave me hope. The tours were, for the most part, run well, I only got my back up about how some of the other companies acted (getting too close, driving too fast, number of people allowed in the park, etc) a couple times. Our tour guides at Jockey did NOT do such things, which I very much appreciated. Respectful.

Kenya is filled with dichotomy. Unbelievably beautiful places next to some of the most destitute I have ever seen. The progress that is happening here, like many other places, simply is not “for all.” (Mind you, I am not talking “modernity as progress,” it usually isn’t.) I just mean…the way things are going, progressing.

I have been in the slums (their word, not mine) from Mexico to Shanghai to Portugal to Turkey, and Kibali in Nairobi is the wildest one I have seen yet, set against a dazzling new Nairobi city skyline. Observation, not judgement.

My first guide, Alex, was a gem, kind, considerate, knowledgeable. We left some shoes with him when we switched cars, and he kindly brought them to us in Nairobi. I also had the pleasure of spending some of my time with an absolute legend of a guide, Calipha, who definitely game me the real scoop on everything from poaching to politics to prostitution. Revealing to say the least.

I did very much enjoy my time here. Formative. Beautiful. Heartbreaking. Inspiring. Like life.

Dream Safari come true with Africa Starpal Safaris
5/5

We communicated with Paul, one of the director prior our arrival in Kenya to organize 7 day safari to masai mara, lake nakuru,Amboseli and Tsavo East then drop at Leopard Beach Resort and Spa diani beach.Either Winfred or Paul who normally answered our email was so patient with all the queries and adjustments to our itineraries and hotels we made often. They were so helpful and understanding of our needs and ultimately helped us put together an amazing safari experience, and one that we will never forget!
The day arrived landing at airport 2am in the morning and we find the guide and Paul waiting for us at the airport. After the brief and few question as we take coffee we were set to go to masai mara. The guide was so guide and he would stop for washroom and some snacks on the way.All the park were amazing with masai mara on top spotting the cats and big five.i cant write or the information here but if anyone need more info you are free to contact me.But i strongly recommend Africa Starpal in kenya for the best and the budget with various hotel options.

Amazing private camping safari with Suricata Safaris
5/5

We had a unique private 7-day safari with Suricata Safaris.
The organization from booking to the end was perfect and we felt super taken care of at all times - we would therefore recommend Suricata to anyone.
Every day was always very exciting and we would always spend 3 days in the Serengeti. Due to the expertise of our guide, we had unforgettable moments with numerous animals. Not only did we see all the Big Five, but we also had many great and very private observations even off the beaten tracks.
In addition, the incredibly good and authentic food made with love is to be mentioned. Every day we always got freshly cooked meals from our chef - and no lunch boxes, as with many other providers.
All the camping equipment and the vehicle are in super condition.

We will definitely come back!

Amazing tour spotting the Big 5!!
5/5

We did the six day tour from Masai Mara to amboseli and it was spectacular. We were able to see all of the Big 5 safari animals and our driver John really knew what he was doing. All accommodations were clean and comfortable for our stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a 5 star safari experience on a budget.

The best at what he does!
5/5

Fred is the man! I received an email back extremely quickly and he was able to answer all of my questions without any hesitation. I asked so many questions and was so happy with the responses and his patience. He was able to help create a very special custom tour for me and my friends. The tour was more than perfect! It was non-stop action and we were always on the go. I loved every second of it. The places we stayed were unbelievably beautiful. The food just kept coming! We ate so much and it was delicious. We saw every animal we hoped to see. Our guide was amazing. I literally can't express how amazing East African Jungle Safaris is. PLEASE do yourself a favor and plan a trip with them ASAP!

Excellent tour operator
5/5

I asked for an itinerary of a 11 days private tour to Amboseli, Aberdare, Samburu and Nakuru, with one night in Nairobi for the mandatory COVID test two days before flight.
Tekko's Carol was very quick in responding to my enquiries and to the point. Of the five companies that I sent quote request to, the price was the most reasonable, and choice of accommodation was very good.
The driver/guide assigned to me was Jackson. He was very patient and careful, listening to all my requests regarding vehicle positioning during game drives (as a photographer, I am very fussy about where the vehicle needs to be parked)
All in all, I had a wonderful time in Kenya and managed to get great shots.
Tekko Tours comes highly recommended
