Punctual dependable tour striving to offer a memorable experience
I was on a work trip and got an opportunity to visit Masaimara and Lake Nakuru.
I was very clear on the lodges I wanted to stay and Martin was prompt to advise dates and ocnfirmed the reservation. Communication was very smooth.
Martin was always puctual, smiling and made me feel right at home. We stopped at the right times, balanced drive vs observation. Martin did his best to create a memorable expecirence for me.
I would recommend anyone visiting Kenya safari, choose Fede Traves with eyes closed.

Classic Journeys provided once in a lifetime moments and memories
We started planning a year out and Elvis went above and beyond to answer questions and accommodate all of our requests- from children, to extra beds (odd number in group), to vegetarian food, we felt comfortable that our needs would be met. After a delayed flight, we were met by the most amazing guide Dennis for our journey. We visited so many places, had a few bumps in the road and enjoyed every minute! One of our travelers bumped their leg that ended up needing medical attention that had us stopping for ice, hospitals, and pharamacies. Dennis was so patient and helped navigate the facilities. We always felt safe and comfortable with his help. The safari stops were beyond imagination, we went from Ol Pejeta to Lake Nikita, the Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli. We saw the big 5 in two days, witnessed three river crossings in the Mara, a giraffe memorial and a rare cheetah kill in Amboseli- again, Dennis was patient, kind, and always at the right place at the right time. We enjoyed every camp and stop. The only piece of advice would be to prepare for long drives between stops. Coming from the US, we noted the mileage but not the drive time. If and when we ever go back, we would definitely extend the one night stays each stop by a night or two to help mitigate the long drives from place to place. Again, this was a once in a lifetime trip topped off by excellent service from Classic Journey’s. Shout out to Dennis for being the best guide! Asante sana!

good tour, but poor communication from the tour operator
5 stars to the experience, amazing landscapes and lots of animals
5 stars to Boniface who went to great lengths to show us the best
5 stars to the group, very nice and friendly people, it was a pleasure to stay with them
4 stars to the accomodations, considering the budget it was good
3 stars to the food, it was good, but always the same, and as vegetarian for lunch bag always boiled eggs
2 stars to Okoa, we had to pay 7% more because we paid by card, and no one had warned us that there were additional charges with the card, otherwise we would have paid in cash. The tour is the same with other tour operators, we were staying in the same van, same hotels, all the same, with people who had booked with other tour operators, but maybe with other tour operators we would have saved money.

An everlasting amazing experience
We did the 6-day group Safari (6 people in one truck) and we traveled as a couple.
Everything went very smooth and was well organized and professional. At first we contacted Bartho via email, who is the manager and owner of the company, he sent us a detailed itinerary and the price (which was significantly lower than other companies had to offer). Then we made a small deposit via Revolut and paid the rest at the beginning of the safari in USD in cash directly to Bartho, who came to our hotel.
The next day in the morning our guide (Praise) picked us up in a Toyota Land Cruiser (most companies use this exact model) and our adventure started. Everything went very well during the whole trip and Praise showed us many great places where we came extremely close to the fascinating wildlife (yes, we saw the big five). During the Safari there is a cook also on the truck. Our cooks were Idris and Suleyman who both prepared amazing meals everyday in very simple improvised kitchens.
All in all we can highly recommend this company and would also recommend to our family and friends.
TIPP: If you are also doing the Ngorogoro Crater bring warm clothes, especially if you do the tented Safari. At night time temperatures were around 5°C, the provided sleeping bags were alright but without jackets before and after going to bed we would really have been freezing, since the camp is at around 2300m.

A tour with expertise, knowledge and heart
Longway Expeditions are a provider with heart
The team are a friendly and family community collective that went over and above to create a personal experience which offers all the elements of a dream trip and more
During the booking process Anna ensured all my questions, aspirations and budget needs were met. Her communication always friendly and upon meeting Anna upon arrival, I felt like I was meeting a friend
The little details are everything e.g. a welcome pack gift, messages after trips to check-in to collect feedback felt genuine and caring
My main guide Nathan was exceptional. He was attentive to my style of exploration and adventure and adapted to this e.g. changing lunch plans so I could explore town life, taking longer at certain destinations because I favored the view/animals
How wonderful it felt to have the entire Longway Expeditions team come to the airport to bid me farewell
I departed hoping, vowing to return with my family one day, so they could meet the Longway Expedition family and friends team which I class as dear friends, who gave me magic moments that will last a lifetime
No words can express my gratitude to Abu, Anna and Nathan

INCREDIBLE
Everything has been perfect. Since the first momento the organization has been incredible and they were always looking for us. The cooking was especially good and it was different every day. The chef was very very nice. Our guide has been incredible, we have been very lucky with him, he was very kind, nice and he does everything to enjoy the experience, also he knows a lot about everything and he answered all our questions. We are very very happy with suricata safaris.

A complete tour of Selous
Overall a very well prepared and organised tour with a knowledgeable driver / guide. Affordable price and responsive tour operator. The 3-day planning was well done. However, I recommend to get a customised tour if possible. This is not Luitours' fault, but the walking safari can be puzzling if you are an experienced traveler: first there is nothing to see so no point to wake up at 5 am, and secondly the bushman guide tries it too much to give this "African" experience to obvious newbies. It can be incomfortable as it reminds what we see in the early to mid-20th century movies - again, this is part of the package and that has nothing to do with Luitours as a tour operator.

Our tour operator was patient, and determined to make our trip the best it could be.
We had and excellent experience with Kaara Adventures from the very start. They were very responsive to my questions regarding payment and timing. On the day of the trip our driver was great. He arrived a few minutes early to pick us up, and was not deterred by unexpected road closures in the area. He made sure we had time to stop at the equator first, so we could see the area. The restaurant we ate at was great, and the people were friendly. Once we made it to the park, the driver did his best to make sure we made it to the boat trip on time- it was an incredible experience. After the boat tour, we spent another couple hours driving around the park trying to see all of the different animals that lived there. We saw almost everything that day- giraffes, monkeys, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, several different types of birds, and zebras (of course). The day was quite long- going from Kampala to Mburo Lake, but it was well worth it- exceptional value for the money, especially given the number of hours the driver spent with us. Our only regret was that we did not extend our stay to do another trip with Kaara.
