A good first safari!
There are a few companies that sound similar to Twins Adventures, so it was hard to know who exactly we had booked with. Mr Zinga was very good about getting back to us and explaining who they were, but having something official from a website with phone #s that were consistent as confirmation would have solved this.
The downside: the jeep ride, without a/c, on bumpy and dusty roads for 5+ hours each way was tough. Although staff was lovely, the lodge we stayed in near the park was subpar - from food to electricity and on.
The upside: Mr Zinga and Isaiah ( a student working with him) were excellent guides and knew the park well. In addition to being knowledgeable, they were interesting people and did everything in their power to provide us with a wonderful experience.

Amazing and Unforgettable 7 Day Safari at Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater
My girlfriend and I went on a 7 day safari at Masa Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater with Across The Wild Tours & Safaris and had such an amazing and unforgettable experience (and got free safari hats).
It all started with the booking of the safari. Fina was absolutely amazing. She was so accommodating and easy to work with throughout the entire booking process. She paid attention to every detail of the booking and responded quickly to any of my questions. It was a pleasure working with her during the booking process. She was top notch.
The accommodations at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge, Kati Kati Tented Camp, and Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, which included breakfast and dinner buffets and packed lunches were great. My favorite was the Kati Kati Tented Camp. It was such an awesome experience camping in the Serengeti. The food was terrific and the staff were absolutely amazing.
For the Masai Mara part of the safari, our guide was Kevin and for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater part of the safari, our guide was Ekemba. Both of them were awesome. They both were very knowledgeable about the wildlife and went out of there way to make us feel comfortable and to accommodate all our needs. They always made sure that we got the perfect angle for all of our photos. They both had a great sense of humor and were fun to be around. We saw the Big 5 in addition to cheetahs during our safari. We saw over 50 lions and over 10 cheetahs, most of which were very close to us.
Kevin was very patient throughout the safari and his motto was "be patient." He even waited in one spot for us for 3 hours so we could see up close an old male lion, which finally came out of the bushes to get some water. My nickname for Kevin was "patience". We even saw up close the "Fantastic 5" with Kevin, which were 5 cheetahs that were brothers.
Ekemba was so great at spotting the wildlife and knew where to locate all of the wildlife in the park. It was like he had a sixth sense in locating the wildlife. My nickname for Ekemba was "eagle eye." We saw up close with Ekemba a pride of over 10 male, female, and baby lions just lying around. We also saw up close with Ekemba 5 lions that were brothers.
Kevin and Ekemba did a superb job in making this safari a truly memorable experience. They both are top notch guides.
I would 100% recommend Across the Wild Tours & Safaris and make sure to ask for Kevin and Ekemba, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Fina, Kevin, and Ekemba.

Beautiful park to drive through. In the season we went, most wildlife was not in the park so the density was not high. Nice views and a different feel than the serengeti but hard to find good sightings.

Amazing geological feature filled with unbelievable density of diverse wildlife.
The entrance to the crater is already spectacular with the views of the complete crater. Roads are still very bumpy but this adds to the bush feeling. Once in the crater, it feels like being in a theme park. You could stop every 100 metres because there is a new species of wildlife to be seen. Plenty of space to do your own thing, except for when a rhino is found. There is no maximum car limit for the rhinos so be prepared to share your experience with other safari guests.

Amazing Country and wild life...this is the real Africa
We had gone to Uganda to mainly see the gorillas, we hesitated between Congo, Rwanda and Uganda. Rwanda and Congo are three times more expensive than Uganda to see gorillas. There is more wildlife park in Uganda, and we have been impressed by the number of animals and landscapes. our safaris have all been magical, the country is welcoming and you will discover the real Africa, much better than Tanzania and Botswana, too touristy and Europeanized. it is planned that we will return to Uganda.
Or next travel is will be in may , Zimbabwe

We found everything we were looking for. With a good guide, I think it is hard to get a better safari experience. It feels like you are in the documentaries.

Fantastic experience. wildlife. food and scenery
We really enjoyed and the experience we cannot express in words. Watching the wild animals in their natural habitat was an experience. Weather was nice, food was great, all the accommodations exceeded our expectations especially Tsavo west. The water hole behind our lodge,in Kiluguani lodge, was busy whole night and we did not feel like to go to bed. In Masai Mara, Osero Camp, was inside the park and during night we could hear the killing and the struggle and the fights. Our tour guide Paul, Tukio safaris, was awesome. He took all the troubles to show us all "big five". we were very fortunate to see all only because of Paul. Only regrets is we couldn't see the river crossing.

Safari, cruises and waterfalls in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana
A brilliant experience and excellent service from start to finish. We received useful and prompt information from Compass Odyssey to decide on our trip and plan things accordingly. The guides were all knowledgeable and friendly, and all the lodges we visited were similarly helpful and very pleasant to stay in. The rhino walk, river cruises and safaris all ran like clockwork and a huge variety of wildlife was on display. I would wholeheartedly recommend Compass Odyssey to anyone considering a visit to Southern Africa.
