Wonderful adventure with a local company
I’ve spent 5 nights in Tanzania with this new local tour company run by passionate young guys. They did everything very smoothly from airport pick-up to drop-off.
I’ve been to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro NP. When visiting these national parks, you get to join with other people booked through all different tour agencies and they put you in a group. If you want a private tour you can also ask for that.
This was my second safari tour after Masai Mara. Different from Kenya, what I loved the most was serene scenery of the “endless plain”. Seeing real Masai people living on the way was impressive too. And of course, wildlife is always amazing. These 3 national parks had a charm of each.
For the tour, I specifically asked for a tented lodge with hot shower because I thought I would really need a nice hot shower after a whole day dusty drive. They offered me mid-range lodges with reasonable price. I didn’t have big expectations because it was way cheaper than other tour companies that I asked through this site (mostly Europe based) however all the accommodations turned out to be fantastic. Especially I loved the Domel lodge. Too bad I cannot find it on google map.
Above all, for me, the most impressive thing was people! Bernard, Lucas, Andrew and Carlson. These friendly guys made my trip very special and memorable. Although I’ve only spent time with them when I was in town, I learned a lot about there life and culture, and some Swahili as well.
On my last day before heading for the airport, they offered me a free tour of Arusha town. We visited some nice places where they like. Such as a short hill hike where you can see Mt. Arusha and going to a nice local restaurant trying their matori tori.
If you are searching for a safari tour and reading this review, I highly recommend you to just trust them and go with them. Please don’t pay ridiculously high price to other global companies. I really don’t want your money end up in the wrong hands.
Tanzania has a lot of resources but the infrastructure and industries are limited. When you visit Tanzania, you will understand what I mean. I hope you make a wise decision.

Excellent 2-day package, which exceeded our expectations.
Our 2-day tour was very well prepared from start to finish. In the run-up, Rwanda Eco Company and Safaris communicated better than other tour operators. We were very pleased with the driver/tour guide the company provided, an excellent off-road driver and very careful with the safari vehicle. Accommodation at Akagera Lodge, part of the package, was outstanding (ongoing construction of another wing didn't disturb our stay). Sightseeing and wildlife picked up on the 2nd day when we entered the northern half of the park.

Best safari ever - unique experience in life!!!!
We were in honeymoon and we choose 5 days group Safari package: Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro (one of the best quality price around). We should have been 6 people but at the end the others didn't come anymore, so Geofrey make sure we have our Safari as per the schedule without any extra charge. It was perfect all the jeep was just for us!!!!!Since the beginning, the communication was excellent, quick and Geofrey was all the time available on whatsapp to provide me all the necessaire information. The equipment for camping was really complete and very comfortable, we slept very well, in the middle of savana, was so wild and close to the hyenas and buffalos, zebras etc. Action, our chef,very kind boy, maybe a little shy:), cooked us good but maybe in the future it would be better to diversify more the food in order to have more types of dishes (the soup was really good:)
I really do think that our safari was amazing thank you to our super guide, DANIEL, that made a wonderful job !!!!! He was all the time patient, very prepared about all the animals, expert with the places where the animals were hidden. Thank to him, we saw all the animals possibles, even leopards, rhino, lion many times and even when a cheetah with her babies hunt an anthilope. It was really amazing!!!!!! We came as clients and we left as friends!!!!!! Great humanity Daniel!!!!!
For sure we want to come back and we want DANIEL as guide!!!!!!!!

Unforgettable trip and very well organised
From our first enquiry all questions were answered promptly and efficiently. The booking process was clear and we were able to have our first choices of all accommodation. No question was too small to ask.
The inclusive airport transfers were very welcome and again communication was great for this.
Our driver /guide picked us up as planned and the whole safari was excellent. Having a personal safari was so much better than travelling with a group as we had the freedom to choose what we wanted to persue in each place. Joesph our driver was great and we always felt safe with him and his knowledge of the wildlife was good and informative. Every day contained so many wow moments. The highlight had to be seeing a family of Cheetahs chase, kill and eat a wildebeest!
The personal touches from the company of the gift of safari blankets and having a check call from Humphrey the owner before we finished our trip were very welcome. I would recommend this company to family and friends.

Great Adventure
We had an amazing two weeks planned in South Africa, Zambia, and Botswana. The lodges and places we stayed at we are all amazing and comfortable. Great staff and planned activities for us. Would highly recommend this tour agency for anyone planning African safari adventures.

Memorable experience
T-One Tours took care of my friends and me. They were prompt to pick us up and showed us a great time. Our tour guide, Basil knew the hiding spots for the animals which made our safari a memorable one. I highly recommend T-One Tours and Safaris.

The Best
Communication with Felix at Denhum holidays was excellent and almost instantaneous. He managed to arrange a safari to fit our budget and it turned out to be even better than we expected. We were met at the airport by our driver/guide Joseph who went out of his way to make it a perfect trip. We saw all the big 5 and got up really close to lions, leopards and cheetahs and even visited a Massai village. If we ever get another chance to take a safari I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

Unbelievable Experience
Wow, what an amazing experience and what a great company to deal with.
From the get-go, Luis, our "Journey Designer" handled everything, organizing an absolutely fantastic safari that satisfied our requirements completely.
Every airport and hotel transfer went without a problem, the drivers were always there waiting for us on arrival or always either on time or early for departures.
Definitely upgrade to the Landcruiser option, it is well worth it.
Our vehicle in Kenya was essentially brand new while the Tanzania vehicle was kept spotless daily by our guide Nico.
Our guides in Kenya, Gideon and Felix were fantastic and Nico in Tanzania was exceptional.
They were incredibly knowledgeable, fun and accommodating, obviously with years of experience, nothing was ever too much trouble for them as they went out of their way to ensure that we got up as close and personal as was practical to the wild life.
We were lucky to see the Big 5 on two occassions and witnessed Wildebeest crossing a crocodile infested river from a perfect view point (thanks Gideon).
There are far too many incredible experiences involving lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, leopards, hippos, rhinos, buffalo, zebras, pumbaas etc etc to describe here, I urge you to go and see for yourselves, it's fantastic.
Nico also took us to one of the Maasai villages he visits, an unbelievable experience and highly recommended.
Hot lunches on safari were great and accompanied with either wine or beer.
Our accommodation was generally glam camping or lodges which were absolutely great, Vincent at Serengeti Tortilis Camp is a mega-star.
The food and friendliness of the staff were outstanding.
The one exception was Pakulala Ngorongoro and when our concerns were expressed, Luis went out of his way to ensure a satisfactory resolution was reached.
This enhanced further in my eyes the professionalism of SOT & their willingness to ensure that their customers are indeed satisfied.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Soul of Tanzania, they are far and away the best tour organizer I have ever dealt with and will be sure to use them on my next safari.
They thoroughly deserve their 5 star rating

We Really enjoyed our safari with Arch Treks Safaris. Everything was great. From the communication with the tour operator which tailored our needs to what is available, to communication with the driver during the trip, everything amazing.
