We’ve just returned from an incredible safari adventure through Tanzania and Zanzibar, flawlessly organized by the amazing team at Timon Safari. I can honestly say this has been the most spectacular safari experience I’ve ever had – and I’ve been on safaris in both Kenya and Namibia before.
From the very first pickup at the airport to the final moments on the beach in Zanzibar, everything was perfectly arranged. Our guide was knowledgeable, passionate, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about wildlife and nature. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five and many other species in their natural habitat – including thrilling moments like a lion hunting or elephants crossing right in front of us.
The vehicles were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for full days in the wild. The lodges selected for us were absolutely amazing – with breathtaking views, excellent meals, and warm hospitality that made us feel both safe and pampered.
After the safari, we spent a few relaxing days in Zanzibar as part of the same package, and the transition from adventure to beach paradise was smooth and perfectly coordinated. Zanzibar was pure bliss, and the combination of adrenaline and relaxation made for the ideal vacation.

Good choose for Meiji
Herman is very experienced and patient. The mission for the big five and ugly five is completed. Also we enjoyed hot lunch box、safaris and accommodation that Meijo arranged for us. Best Safari Ever
Had the best trip ever. We was able to visit Moshi, Ngorongoro crater, Masai Village and Serengeti within 3 days. Alex the tour guide was very knowledgable, about the wild life and the geographical area. Also, he was an excellent photographer. I highly recommend this company.

Amazing experience!
Our trip with Emma was amazing! We went from Kampala to Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth National Park and back to Entebbe. Gari Trips provided excellent driving in Ugandan traffic (we felt very safe) in a very comfortable and clean car with a very kind and calm guide. Emma really enjoys his profession, which made the experience unforgettable. He made sure we would get the full experience of Uganda. He is an amazing tourguide, animal spotter, photographer and driver. Besides that, he is also an amazing person who cares for the people around him. We would recommend Gari Trips to anyone travelling Uganda!

Our trip went exactly as promised and planned
For our honeymoon, we did around 9 nights in Zimbabwe and Botswana , and it was a wonderful mix of lodges and environments. The recommendation by Chloe and subsequent organisation was wonderful, and we got a chance to see natural wonders such as Vic falls, plenty of boat cruises and game drives, and the lovely delta and its activities( nature walks and canoeing). Overall everything was included, occurred as planned, and it was generally stress free from arrival to departure .

A Beautiful Place
I have now visited Liwonde three times and at different times of year April, October and December and am now organising to visit again this July. The Shire river gives this park a perfect setting, its wide blue waters are quite obviously the park’s life force and provide a focal point for wildlife viewing. The boat trips which any of the camps will organise are unforgettable and I think I’ve now embarked on four or five; on each occasion we have been up close and personal with elephants wading and feeding in the shallows. They ignore the boat and allow it to drift around them and the guides are good at keeping just enough distance so as not annoy the beautiful beasts. When on the boats watch for birdlife, there is a good variety of waders, divers, paddlers and raptors and when the river levels are low the sand banks become very cosmopolitan with all sorts of birds standing between the dozing crocs.
On land self driving is good unless the tracks are very muddy and there are plenty of birds to see including some very rare species, I sense the birds that hang out near the tracks are very accustomed to vehicles so bird photography here can be very rewarding.
Across my visits I’ve seen lions on all but one occasions and had one incredible cheetah experience watching a kill being devoured by a clan of young males. The antelope population is large and male elephants seem to often wander about on the flood plain but I can’t recall ever seeing a matriarch-led herd, I suspect they are deeper into the inaccessible parts of the park.
The beautiful setting, abundant wildlife and the fact that animals are drawn onto the flood plain where they are easily seen makes this a very special park; it is also an example of what African Parks can achieve when supported by the local community.

Wonderful, amanzing and comfort
It is our first time for Safari and also in Africa. We traveled with 2 kids (7,10 yr.) Before the trip starts, we think it might be not comfortable and boring for kids . But we found that Kenya has well Safari management, not only beautiful scenery and animals, but also comfortable and luxury accomodations and wonderful services
. I could not expect more and Kenya will be my top list choices for next trip.
