Amazing! Tailored to our schedule
We had a wonderful one-day safari to Mikumi National Park with Widmans Tours Safaris. We travelled with our children, so we were a little unsure how they would manage a full day, but everything went really smoothly.
Our guide was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable, and did a great job of keeping the children interested and excited throughout the day. Seeing the animals in the wild was such a special experience for all of us, and the children absolutely loved it!
The whole day was well organised and we felt very well looked after from start to finish. Even though it was only a one-day safari, we saw plenty and came away with some really special family memories.
We would definitely recommend Widmans Tours Safaris, especially for families travelling with children. Thank you for such a fantastic day! đđŚđŚâ¤ď¸

We had an absolutely amazing safari experience! Everything was very well organized, and we were able to see so many incredible animals in their natural habitat. The entire trip was unforgettable and exceeded our expectations.

Exceeding even the rosiest expectations
We had a wonderful 10 days. Our agent, Nuru, managed to organize a trip perfectly tailored to our needs, down to the smallest detail. The Kilimanjaro trek and the safaris will always hold a special place in our hearts. Nuru is an attentive, helpful, kind, and highly knowledgeable guide. We highly recommend him.

My decision to go with Nafika for my 9-day Northern Circuit Kilimanjaro climb was thoroughly reinforced throughout the trek. It was a unique, highly rewarding experience that i will always treasure. The entire Nafika team - from the guide and chef, to my personal attendent and porters - simply could not have been any better. They were professional, highly competent, motivated to see me safely reach the summit, and interested in my well-being throughout the trek. I did reach the summit and attribute that to the outstanding support i received. This entire company, from the business side to the trekking team was rock solid!

A truly amazing experience
We have recently completed an absolutely amazing safari with Kojuu. Janeth at Kojuu has been an amazing agent for us. She has dealt with every request and question I have asked. She adapted the booking several times to account for my requests.
Our driver guide, Armstrong, was such a wealth of knowledge and amazing at getting us to see everything we could have possibly wanted, and thinks we didn't know we wanted to see.
The holiday itself was an experience my wife and I've will never forget.
I would have no hesitation at all to recommend Kojuu, and particularly Janeth, to anyone.

5/5 with a couple caveats..
The whole safari portion of our trip was wonderful. Our guide Joseph was amazing, and very accommodating. He would always figure out a way to help us get closer to the animals while staying respectful to the wildlife and other drivers. We got to know him very well during our 6 day safari and he was a delight to get to know. Taught us so much about the way of life in Africa as much as the wildlife. We accomplished seeing the Big 5.
Mountain Warriors company was also easy to book and navigate. Ruth was very responsive any time I would message her, no matter what time of day. The communication leading up to the trip could have been better though. I had to be the one to keep reaching out to follow up with our booking, and making sure everything was still good to go. I probably wouldnât have heard from Mountain Warriors again after the deposit was paid, until we arrived into Africa. I also had to reach out to ask for an invoice a couple of times from our deposit, weeks after paying. It would have given us more peace of mind if the company had reached out leading up or prior to our trip to make sure all is well with our booking, and what to expect leading up to arrival. Other companies our friends were with seemed to require more prior to the trip to make sure you were set up with everything you needed. I was also easily able to switch out some accommodations that were initially offered. I did my own research for some more luxurious lodges and Ruth accommodated those requests with no problems.
I had also requested a specific guide we had read reviews about, and Ruth said it would be no problem at the time. At the beginning of our safari, we ended up having a different guide at arrival with no warning or explanation beforehand. No complaints about Joseph though. We loved him - but again, just the communication on behalf of the company. It was only then mentioned that specific guide was busy, after I had asked about it at the debriefing. I still wouldnât have made a fuss if it was mentioned prior, but then it wouldnât have been a surprise. It seems to be more of a âjust pay and show upâ kind of group. We only had our itinerary that was given to us as proposal when initially inquiring with the group to follow up with. The travel times on the itinerary were also a bit off, we drove a lot longer than what was scheduled, and we didnât actually get a half game drive on our first day of the Serengeti because we stayed inside Tarangire National Park (which should have been accounted for since the company should know where it is) and because we needed to get the car checked to make sure it was equipped for the Serengeti roads, (which we agreed to the evening before) but should have been organized to do so prior to picking up clients in the first place. In addition to that, we also needed to pick up our luggage in the Serengeti airport. So we really only had 1.5 days in the Serengeti during our 6 day safari. I would have opted to stay longer in the Serengeti, and removed Lake Manyara. Another company had mentioned not even visiting that park at all.
Iâll still give 5 stars because everything still worked out for us, and my husband and I can go with the flow. Nothing detrimentally put a wrench in our experience. My husbands luggage didnât arrive with us, and he didnât have his luggage for the first 2 days of the safari, but Ruth quickly helped us get his bag to us faster and was delivered to us at the Serengeti air strip so we were thankful for that. Overall organization couldâve been better, but you get what you pay for! It would have been nice to have some more insight on where it was better to fly in and out of as well, so you could reduce driving time between parks. Still had a great trip.

Excellent Value for Money Tour to Materuni waterfall and chemka hotsprings
Florian our guide at Materuni willage was a fun guide , he helped us with great pictures and explained coffee making process. They provided excellent vegetarian meals too

A Memorable Experience!
Rafiki Tembo did a great job providing a memorable Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania safari trip experience for our group of 13 travelers. Lowassa was instrumental in helping us plan the trip, and he was a pleasure to deal with; Lowassa is very polite, responds quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs.

Amazing!
We had an amazing experience with Peter as our safari guide. He was very patient with our group as we took a lot of photos, videos, and had many questions that he answered. He went above and beyond to try and find the animals for us to see and explained more about their behavior and actions. We were quite lucky in the many variety of animals we got to see.

Professional, responsive and memorable safari experience
We had a very enjoyable safari experience with Mountain Warriors Tours and Safaris. Our guide, John, was very friendly, enthusiastic and professional throughout the trip. Whenever we had any questions or small issues, he responded quickly and helped us solve them in a timely manner.
John was also very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the national parks. Thanks to his experience and effort, we were able to see many different animals and had some amazing wildlife encounters during our safari.
We were also generally very satisfied with the hotels and lodges arranged for us, and most of them were comfortable and well selected. Overall, the trip was well organized and we really appreciated Johnâs warm service and professionalism. We had a wonderful safari experience and would be happy to recommend Mountain Warriors to other travelers.
