Professional and friendly tour operator ready to design your trip based on your needs and requests
5/5

The trip was defined via email in a detailed and clear manner and it was tailored in such a way to fit all our requests.

The overall price was cheap considering all the high standard accomodations, foods and trasfers.

The drivers were really kind and fun. They safely drove us in several park and tried to make us find all the species.

The experience was definitely good and it was worth the price.

Great guide, food and service
5/5

The guide was super professional and able to spot so many animals. Also able to fix the car when there was a problem with it. The food was amazing, definetly didn’t expect to have such great food when camping on a Safari. In general very friendly, good service and available to accommodate all requests.

Excellent Company with Amazing Guides
5/5

An amazing trip from start to finish. We did an 8 day safari trip, visiting Tarangire, Lake Natron, Northern and Central Serengeti, Ngorogoro crater and finishing with a day trip to the Materuni waterfalls. Right from the start, Safari Soles impressed us. Regina was very quick to respond to us and was very flexible in tailoring the trip exactly to suit our needs. The communication with Regina throughout the whole experience was excellent, she answered any questions we had, provided us with a brochure of what to expect day to day, and details of the accommodation.

We stayed in tented lodges, and the accommodation and food were excellent throughout. The staff in every lodge were very friendly and helpful. On the last night, we even got upgraded, which was the cherry on top of an amazing experience.

At the beginning of the trip, we were greeted by Sefegelli (Chief). He was a great person to meet on the first day. He was very friendly, and immediately put us at ease, he told us lots of interesting facts about Tanzania, and brought us on a cultural tour to visit the local markets.
The safari itself was incredible and so much more than what we could have hoped for, all thanks to our amazing guide Chadi. He went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience for us, driving around to find the animals, and his passion and enthusiasm for Tanzania and the wildlife is infectious. He is so knowledgeable about everything from the wildlife, to biology, to geography. I felt like I could ask him anything, and he would have the answer. He was also very kind and caring, and great fun to be around for the week. We learned so much from him and were so grateful to have had him as not just our guide but as our friend for the week.

If you have the opportunity to go on Safari, I strongly recommend Safari Soles and Chadi. Asante Sana for everything, we hope to be back here and on another tour with Chadi again soon.

Solo traveler friendly and a hell of an experience!
5/5

My first solo trip and I could not recommend the experience and this company enough. I had chosen the 4 day option which I thought was plenty of time. I had multiple people tell me before leaving that a safari was not worth it unless I was able to stay 5 days or more. I strongly disagree. We had plenty of time between the three parks we visited and successfully saw the big 5. Accommodations were excellent. We had the pleasure of staying at their new lodge for the first night and I highly suggest that no matter what package you purchase, you find a way to incorporate one night at this facility. It was the most beautiful establishment I’ve ever stayed at.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and personable. The food was great and I appreciated having warm meals as opposed to the boxed lunches that I saw other companies provide. I thought the price was extremely fair the experience. I have already sent this company’s information to friends and family who have safaris planned in their future.

Want a trip of a lifetime? Look for further!
5/5

We spent 14 days with Kay Adventure Tours across Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar. Easily one of the best trips of our lives!

Maureen was very professional from the start, giving us a few different options to choose from and being extremely patient with all the questions we had about the trip, visas, flights and everything else - they were many but she never failed to answer. She came to meet us in Nairobi at the beginning of our tour to give us a final briefing and introduce us to our Kenyan guide, Ben. What followed was 8 days spent travelling across Samburu with its quite unique giraffes and zebras you can see only there, Lake Nakuru's rhinos and flamingoes and Masai Mara's spectacular scenery and wildlife, there were animals at every turn and the sunsets beyond description! Ben was always on the lookout for where to go next to see more animals and was never bothered by questions. We then crosses into Tanzania, where Ahmani picked us up. The huge plains of Serengeti hosted up for the next couple of days, with Ahmani masterfully revealing all the secrets of plants and animals alike. We were lucky enough to see a pack of lionesses hunting zebras just in front of us thanks to his excellent prediction of where to park the jeep before everybody else, really wonderful to see and the zebras made it out alive :-). A few hours spent in the absurdly beautiful Ngorongoro crater with its abundant wildlife closed our safari before being dropped off at Arusha airport and whisked over to Zanzibar for four relaxing days on the beach.

Final tally: big five and ugly five seen multiple times and almost all the small five, but those are, well, small and very difficult to find anyway! Good food throughout, especially in Serengeti and Zanzibar. Great people at every corner and the tranquillity of having Maureen ready to support us a message away, should her regular check-ins not have been enough. A great trip, very carefully planned by people that clearly know a thing or two about safaris. We will not hesitate to rely on Kay Adventure Tours again in the future and suggest them to family and friends planning a trip in the area!

They were very accommodative about our travel dates changing and the guide was very knowledgeable
5/5

The company is very efficient and willing to customize to the client’s needs. They prepared everything ahead of time. Our guide, Ronnie was multilingual, very kind, made the effort for us to see every animal even though some had migrated. He always asked other guides where we could possibly find them and he took us there. We had a great three days

An excellent company: value, services, vehicle and location!
5/5

ANAPA really came through for me - I needed a last-minute booking for Tarangire, Tanzania, and they accommodated my needs every step of the way. Even the ATM was giving me trouble, with my bank in the USA not doing its job. My driver didn't hesitate to drive me to another ATM, and with every guest that we picked up, the same friendly, consistent demeanor was present.

The vehicle was well outfitted in terms of seats, functioning windows, refreshments and cleanliness, and out driver was safe, knowledgeable and did a great job to get us to some secluded spots. We got to spend time with an elephant herd with no one else around - not even one other truck!

Thanks ANAPA - I will not hesitate to recommend you!

Perfect, everything super ok
5/5

First safari and from the positive reviews we chose SURICATA, in the group tour version for 5 days. The staff is attentive to everything: getting around, the car which is always clean, filled with water and we have never had any problems with the engine/fuel/wheels (a fundamental thing in a complicated management tour like this - furthermore, should something ever happen, they a spare car is available near the serengeti and ngorongoro so in a short time they fix the problem and don't waste the customer's precious time!! We have seen many of them stopped and left to themselves). FREDDI, our guide, was super, very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to show us each animal, so thank you so much again! He only speaks English (but they also have guides in other languages available so you can try asking). We chose the "intermediate" accommodations and we were assigned: BOMA LODGE (super appreciated upgrade for the first two nights at the tarangire and lake manyara), ANGATA CAMP (both at the serengeti and ngorongoro - tented camps with bathroom and shower in the room). The lodges obviously also have air conditioning, but the tented camps are still comfortable, equipped with towels and shampoo and other things (no hairdryer, electricity available until the generator is switched off, wi-fi in the common areas). The food is truly exceptional, and for vegetarians it is enough to tell the chef of the various places where you are staying and there are always alternatives. Never problems with water: the one in the bottles is always replenished. Tip for NGORONGORO: it's always cold so cover yourself because even in the tents it's cold even in the common one, but the show and the animals will make it all worth it.
The food at lunch is always cooked by the lodges then made in the morning espresso - all super tasty. Even in the tents there are sockets, as well as in the car that takes you around.
You will not regret it.
Ask before leaving where you will sleep in order to avoid misunderstandings (if you want to sleep in the tented camp and not in the lodge or vice versa based on how agreed).
The visit to the Masai camp, on the other hand, cannot be missed, but it is obviously a free choice.
Choose SURICATA, and thanks COLD!!!!!
