Unbelievably great trip!
I have travelled all over the world but this was my first trip to Africa. Having wanted to go on a safari since I was a teenager, this was my dream vacation. After much due diligence and some really good correspondence with Lion King, I selected to go with them. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. MY TRIP WAS AMAZING, STUPENDOUS, and AWE INSPIRING. Needless to say, I loved it. If I could give Lion King additional stars (say, 8 out of 5), I would. They did an amazing job. From handling a customized trip with numerous changes (including one right before I left) with aplomb, to planning and executing a near-flawless trip despite it being rather complicated (and long), to providing not one but two outstanding guides, the quality of Lion King's work shined.
Bookending the first and last day of my trip was Enock, a terrific person and extremely knowledgeable guide who I believe speaks four languages. For most of my trip, my guide was Richard, also a terrific person with a passion for both mammals and birds. His knowledge proved very useful while we were on safari. I became friends with both of them.
The new Nyota Luxury Camp (owned by Lion King's parent company) in the Serengeti was amazing. The tents, smiling and excellent service, food, and even the pit fire were all outstanding. I strongly recommend this option.
I have been all over the world and set a high bar of expectations and excellence. Lion King to its credit, easily surpassed it.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend this company. They did great.

Cathy Paul and Sue’s marvelous Kenyan adventure
Our driver David picked us up right on time from our hotel in Nairobi and drove us to Enkorok Camp where we were warmly welcomed by Joyce’s staff- offered a warm cloth and a cool beverage. We were escorted to our tents which were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This was the trip of a lifetime! We saw lions hunting and lounging , giraffes grazing, pumba, herds of zebra wildebeest gazelle elephants and lone cheetah and birds from flocks of ostrich to small brightly colored varieties. Hippos and crocodiles were resting in the Mara river or along its banks. It was a spectacular journey ! A highlight of the trip was an early morning balloon ride over the tall grasslands that stretch for miles followed by a champagne breakfast on a hilltop. Kenya is a magnificent country with very hospitable people. I want to do it all again! Thank you so much!

Welcoming country with amazing things to see!
Some friends and I started our trip with a Kilimanjaro climb through the Machame route, it was an amazing experience and the scenery was beautiful. The team of guides and porters were great too and overall exceeded all our expectations. Afterwards we went to Zanzibar to relax, which also was an incredible experience. The beaches were great and the food too, with a wide variety of restaurants. I have to mention though the stark contrast of the resorts and hotels, and the level of poverty you see in the island. Finally we ended the trip with a safari. We were a bit skeptical of how many animals we would see because it was the end of the rainy season, but it was really incredible! We got to see the mass migration in the Serengeti, and lots of animals in Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. Overall we had an amazing trip on this very welcoming country, we felt safe all the time and we totally recommend the experience!

Excellent overall
We really enjoyed our Amboseli safari with Morningstar. And Joseph did the most amazing job preparing and communicating with us all the details. He is patient and caring. I hope anyone who books a safari gets to work with him.

Very good value for the money spent
My friend and I were searching for a reliable and professional safari company and didn't really know where to start first. Jocky Tours and Safaris had many good reviews that we felt like giving it a try and we definitely didn't get disappointed. The food was great (especially the vegetarian option), the accomodation clean and nice and our guide and driver Richard was very experienced and answered all kinds of questions of ours. He was also very punctual which made the trip much more enjoyable

Unforgettable experience in Tanzanian Safari with Bobby Tours
We spent an amazing and unforgettable time in Tanzania thanks to Bobby Tours. Kassim the manager was disponible to adapt our tour to our needs, and the planning was perfect: we saw a lot of things.
And our guide, Steven, was really nice and always motivate with positive energy. He knows everything about Tanzanian culture.
The lodges were beautiful, high quality and directly situated in the parcs, it was a perfect honey moon.
Thanks again!

Outstanding and memorable travel experience!
After a 3 year wait for the pandemic to pass, we finally found ourselves on our way to the trip of a lifetime. Celebrating the culmination of a 40 year working career, our South African safari was carefully curated by the experts at Kanyezi, with our individual interests and requirements considered. From the moment we landed in Capetown, to our final escort to the departing gate, every detail was executed perfectly. The guides, the accommodations, restaurants, the safari itself, were flawless. Throughout the experience, everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this company and this travel experience.

Enjoyable trip to Uganda
Did a week trip with my partner to Uganda.
Visited Bwindi (Gorilla's) - stayed at Mahogany Springs Safari Lodge. The lodge was 10/10, food, service, view. Would love to go back.
During time in Bwindi we did the Batwa Culture Experience, really didn't know what do expect but was one of the highlights of the trip. The history is kind of sad but the people were amazing.
Gorilla trek - 10/10 no real need to explain.
Visited Kibale National Park. Started at Turaco Treetops, ideally would have stayed there longer, only one night which meant we missed out on spending more time with the birds and view. Food also excellent!
Finished at Murchison Falls National Park. Game drives was awesome, felt a lot more natural than in South Africa. River Cruise was spectacular, loads of birds and hippos, elephants etc. Stayed at Pakuba Safari Lodge, the lodge itself was the least modern of the three (although only one with air con), but the service was awesome. Food was mostly buffet but the standard of food was still very good. One thing I really enjoyed about Pakuba is all the guides eat dinner with the people they are hosting, there is something really nice about that.
Our guide was Muhumuza Christopher 'Chris'. His knowledge of Uganda history was excellent, his animal knowledge was also almost flawless (we did manage to spot one bird that neither he or we could identify and he spend 30 minutes looking through books, checking with fellow guides etc to make sure he gave us the right information), but probably his best skill was spotting animals. He spotted a lion in a tree that many other guides drove straight past and he could see small birds in trees miles away. If you are looking for someone who is an expert in guiding he is your guy.
Chris is also super passionate about Uganda which I really loved. There is nothing more special than someone that takes such pride in what their country has to offer.
Only a couple minor issues with the tour, they misbooked our return flight which meant we had to drive it. Not the biggest issue but a minor annoyance.
Secondly I think we could have done with a bit more guidance on the tour, we probably ended up travelling a bit more than we first thought, but also could have done with a bit more advice on where to go and the route to take. That being said I enjoyed every minute of it but some people might not want to sit in a car for so long.
