We had the best experience with Suricata safaris! Everything was excellently organised and the Safari exceeded our expectations! We did the 5 day camping Safari, and camping in the middle of the Serengeti was certainly an experience that we will never forget!
We really were blown away! Our guide Rocky was very knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond for us! Our chef Musa never failed to disappoint with the food (preparing delicious hot meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner). We cannot fault anything and if you are considering using Suricata Safaris, you really won’t regret it!

A wonderful trip with an experienced and friendly tour guide!
Everything was planned perfectly for us. First we arrived at our camp and we were instructed right away about the important things and locations at the camp. All the times we had to be ready for the safaris were communicated early enough and made the experience very nice for us. We got excellent food from our cook and were transported to very nice locations throughout the krüger nationalpark. We saw a lot of the animals there (we were lucky!) and got a lot of information about them from the tour guide. He was a fun, loving and caring guide and answered to all our questions. All in all I can only recommend Mbombela Experience because I had the trip if my life! The people we meet were all very lovely and experienced. They gave us all their time and made us feel very comfortable the whole time.

Breathtaking!
The safari was beautiful. Although we didn’t get to see as many elephants as I would’ve liked, everything was beautiful. The lunch was delicious and wvweyone was very welcoming and inviting.

Excellent service, catered to your needs, in an amazing country!
Some friends and I booked a safari package with this agency that included visits to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara National Parks. From the start we were pleased with the welcoming people who took care of us, including our guide Endeni and the manager Emmanuel. The vehicle we used was in perfect conditions and the hotels picked for our stay were amazing choices. Our highlight was the stay in Serengeti NP, where you could hear all animals in the night.
The agency provided food for us during the safaris or game drives and had a great kit to do so. Overall, we had an amazing experience and got to see lots of animals and beautiful places. We went at the end of the rainy season and totally recommend it to go on your safari. We got to see the mass migration in Serengeti and the “big 5” during our visit. The guide was very capable detecting animals and birds, and surprisingly he spoke our native language (Spanish) really well.

Funny, personable and knowledgeable!
Our tour was great! I think coming during the slower season allowed for a few advantages. First being our smaller group size which made for a very personalized experience. Also, with it being cooler, the roads were less packed, the animals were up and roaming/feeding. Our guide Thabo did an amazing job finding all of the animals he could which included MANY close encounters with elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos and many more. Overall I would definitely recommend this experience and this tour company!

Entertaining, Thrilling and Educational
It was amazing! Our guide Shumba was exceptional and had so much knowledge about all the animals we saw. Was so good to see so many of the big animals, even though we knew it was only a chance we would be able to see them. The food was wonderful and all staff were very friendly.

xperience. The organizer is very reliable and punctual. The staff are incredibly competent and friendly, they know a lot about the area and nature. The tents were extremely comfortable and clean. Thanks to the thermal blanket, there was no lack of warmth either. On our safari we saw the big 5 and many more rare animals (cheetah, wild dog, etc.). The food was always freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The whole trip was great! Thank you Mbombela Experience!

Lilly and her team were amazing; super helpful, knowledgeable and responsive throughout the process.
What an incredible experience. I reached out to several travel agencies with a vague idea of planning a family trip to Namibia. Lilly (Great Explorations Namibia) responded right away and put a sample itinerary together with a route, lodges to stay, things to do, excursions to consider, etc. We had some specific ideas and changes in mind and she was very responsive, modifying the plans, providing suggestions, etc.
Once the plans were finalized, she arranged and booked everything (rental 4x4 vehicle, airport transfer, lodges, etc.). Making payments was easy (I have to admit that I was a bit nervous sending a sizeable sum of money to a country in Africa) but all that worked without any problems. Upon our arrival in Windhoek, everything worked like a charm and we had no issues. Even in the one private game reserve where we were not 'on the list' at the gate to be allowed onto the property (still 40 miles on dirt roads from the actual lodge), a quick WhatsApp message to Lilly got that resolved in 15 minutes. Overall I can only highly recommend Lilly and her team!!
The trip itself was amazing and beyond what we expected. We had close-up encounters with lions, cheetahs, rhinos, elephants, wildebeest (i.e. 'the big five'), as well as giraffes, zebras, kudu's, oryx, springbok (thousands of them), hippos, crocs, warthogs, etc.. Great hiking on the sand dunes in Sossusvlei and fun riding quad bikes in the desert sand outside of Swakupmund. The desert scenery is beautiful (amazing sunsets!), the roads - while mostly gravel - are quite good. The lodges/accommodations were wonderful even though you're in the middle of nowhere. Internet access/wifi is available in most places (but with limited bandwidth) and in some places wifi was only accessible in the main lodge and not in the rooms (on the positive side, that forced us to actually enjoy our vacation and not be on email all the time).
All in all, a trip of a life time made possible by an amazing travel agent!!
