Julian was full of useful information, very friendly and made himself easily available to us.
We thought Julian was wonderful! He took us, very last minute, on a tour of Pilansberg. He knew exactly where to look for the animals and gave us lots of information about South Africa and the wildlife. He also took us to the Rhino and Lion Park, a marketplace and a Dam. We believe it was a great value and a amazing time.

Very informative and well organised. Instant response via WhatsApp to any questions
Went on the budget safari tour with my son. The food and accommodation as expected are not 5 star but we really enjoyed the whole experience. Bush walks , safari drives, and evening BBQ in the bush were all great. Most importantly we could not fault the staff from the cooks to the rangers. All great people to spend time with. No complaints at all. Excellent.

Fantastic experience
Since the very first email from Jessica M, I have always been amazed at the level of service provided by her and her team. Be it planning & understanding our needs (large group of 8 - with 4 kids), planning our itinerary (which perfectly aligned with what we hoped to get from this trip), providing easy and timely updates, travel and packing tips, and follow up service during and after our trip-- Dancing Zebra Safari is A+
We had around a week in Kenya, and the places we visited were thoughtfully chosen to give us the best experience. Every hotel/camp we stayed at was luxurious, with fantastic service. The trip was completely planned for us- we even had staff come to us inside the airport to help. We showed up knowing we were in good hands. I cannot wait to go back!

A 10-Day Safari to Remember!
I arranged our safari directly with Martin, as it was important to me that we supported a local individual in Kenya rather than a giant corporate holiday firm.
Martin was incredible from the very initial enquiry and throughout our tour. He was great at communicating and helped me to create a bespoke 10-day tour visiting multiple places including Samburu National Reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli National Park. He allowed me to ask a billion questions about the activities we could include (boat ride, walking safari, chimpanzee sanctuary, feeding Baraka the Black Rhino at a Rhino sanctuary and a masai village visit), change the accommodation to ones I’d picked personally and managed to help me keep a balloon ride and champagne breakfast in the Masai Mara a secret from my other half.
Martin’s knowledge of the animals is brilliant, and he happily answered all my questions about the animals, parks, local culture and country. We had Martin and the Land Cruiser to ourselves the entire time and Martin made sure we had plenty of time gazing at the animals we enjoyed most, never rushing us on to go elsewhere. We had a great giggle with Martin the entire time.
Martin works incredibly hard, he is very passionate about what he does, and this is very clear in his approach to work.
My advice to Brits – don’t feel you need to get a package deal, book your flights direct, get a hotel near the airport with a shuttle service and Martin will be there, ready and waiting to pick you up the following morning.
To Martin – thank you again for the most incredible holiday we’ve ever had.

Very flexible, honest, sincere and heartwarming people
I booked a 8-day tour starting from Victoria falls to Chobe national park, elephant sands and Okavango delta.
I’ll write honestly here including both good pints and improvement points so that you can see how sincere Zambezi expedition is.
[Exellence]
1) I am a solo traveler and it would not be so profitable for the company to just arrange everything for one person. But they did everything just for me.
2) They were very flexible adding some more activities to the original plan and changing the activities at last minutes. I added cheetah walk & interaction and a helicopter tour at Victoria falls. Furthermore, I was supposed to do mokoro and bush walk in Okavango delta, but I changed them to a game drive in Moremi game reserve as I was desperate to see a leopard. ( which I couldn’t see it in the end but I’m glad I made the decision to change.)
3) the accommodation and the food were all good. I have to say one of the accommodation had lots of insects in the room and at the restaurant but I think it’s part of experience in the nature. I don’t this has to do with anything with Zambezi expedition.
Oscar, Silence, Francis and other guides they arranged for me were all good people and friendly. I loved the time with them.
[Room for improvement]
They have a good itinerary for a quote so I was expecting everything will be the same as itinerary, but sometimes things were different, such as accommodations, included meals and expectations towards what animals I could see.
I understand some of the hotels could be full, but I had different accommodations for a different reason too. I don’t mind being flexible and staying at different accommodations at all. However, a really good itinerary makes me think this is what I’m getting. So I suggest Zambezi expedition to leave some room that things could be changed/different depending on the situations.
In terms of meals, it was a good difference as lunch was included which I thought it wouldn’t. So this was a good difference.
For Okavango delta activities, the itinerary says I have a good chance to lions, cheetah and leopards, but actually it’s not with mokoro and bush walk. To make sure customers have the right expectations, I would like to ask zambezi expedition to make some modifications for the description.
As a summary, I really had great time and appreciate all arrangements they did for me. Elephants dads was amazing and you would not want to miss that. People are friendly and you will have good time with them. They try to make your experience as great as possible.
Make sure you get Silence for reservations, Oscar for activities and Francis for your driver.
Thank you all for the great experience and hospitality!

Professional tour operator that offers excellent service and unforgettable Safari experience.
I had a wonderful experience with Savannah Wood Safaris in Masai Mara. My driver, Alex, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He ensured I saw all the amazing wildlife and explained everything in detail. He also drove safely and comfortably in the 4x4 vehicle. The Safari was well-organized and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Savannah Wood Safaris to anyone looking for a memorable Safari in Masai Mara.

The most amazing spectacular incredible remarkable experience of our lives
One of the absolute best trips we have ever been on and we couldn’t have done it without the help of Bryson and our amazing guide Chadi. Bryson was so accommodating to all of our requests. He amended the itinerary multiple times to fit our needs and every stop was incredible. From the elephants in Tarangire to the lions of the Serengeti, the trip was nothing short of astounding. Bryson even helped us to include a chimp trekking tour in Mahale. Not only were the destination stops amazing but our guide Chadi was the absolute best. He was so knowledgeable. It felt like there was no question he couldn’t answer. He knew exactly where to go for all the best animal sightings. We wish we could have Chadi along for all of our travel adventures. He was truly an amazing tour guide. If you are looking for a safari tour operator and want your money to support a local business, I highly highly highly recommend Safari Soles. They were absolutely incredible.
