Very efficient and helpful. They made our trip very enjoyable
5/5

Our first trip to Africa and we were a little nervous. But Anthony and Lavender gave excellent advice on planning the trip. Arnold met us at O R Tambo Airport and drove us to Pilanesberg national park and back to Sandton. Extremely helpful and he made every effort to make the transfer smooth. He even took us on a game drive inside Pilanesberg on our way to our lodge. Thank you MoAfrika!

Well Advised Safari and Wonderful Guide
5/5

Our experience with SoT was very positive. Our guide, Wilson, was second to none. His knowledge of the wildlife, culture, history, landscape, and people is astonishing. Having him as a guide enriched our experience beyond the visual aspects of safari, and helped us to better understand how Tanzania has become the place it is today. There are so so many options for operators and guides when choosing a safari, and many good ones no doubt, but from a guide perspective I cannot imagine having a better experience than we did with Wilson.

Trip of a lifetime with the most knowledgable and thoughtful guides
5/5

I visited Tanzania and Rwanda with Dancing Zebra last month and had the best trip of my life. My itinerary was:
- 1 day to rest and recuperate on a golf course in Arusha
- 1 day/night in the Ngorongoro crater
- 5 days / 4 nights in the Serengeti
- 1 day/night in Kigali
- 2 days / 2 nights at the Virunga Lodge

Our safari guide, Ian, is an animal whisperer. We were first on the scene to every interesting animal siting in the Serengeti. Although he said he couldn't promise anything, when we asked to see a leopard he found two over the course of an hour. He got us up close and personal with some lions feuding over a kill, hippos jostling for dominance, and baby elephants following their mom.

The accommodations were incredible. The staff were so kind, friendly, and thoughtful and made us feel comfortable throughout the trip. The food was great and the location was incredible, particularly for the lodge in the Serengeti and the lodge in the Virugna moutains.

I felt like we spent the right amount of time in each location. If you needed to cut time off your trip, you could do one less day in the Serengeti and skip the day in Kigali.

Thank you to the Dancing Zebra for giving me the experience of a life time! I've already shared the itinerary with friends who want to take the trip after seeing my pictures and it was a no brainer to tell them to leave it all to Dancing Zebra to plan it perfectly.

Amazing experience - expectations exceeded
5/5

What was advertised as a “budget” experience turned out to be incredibly nice. From the airport pickup, to all of our meals (very abundant and always including fresh fruits and vegetables) to our guide Douglas who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, he managed to spot all the most hidden animals and answer to all of our questions. Him and our cook Khalid always helped us loading our bags in the car and setting up the tents letting us a lot of free time to relax and soak in the beauty of the park. Also all the campsites advertised as “basic” were were lovely and very well equipped (sometimes even with warm showers!). We didn’t have a SIM card but WiFi is available at almost every camping and every picnic spot

Excellent service
5/5

It was a wonderful experience. The staffs were really friendly and always strived to provide us with the best possible service whenever they could. The food cooked by the staff was quite the highlight as it was genuinely really good and being able to try out a different style of cuisine was interesting. Best part of this trip was being able to see 4 out of 5 of the big 5’s just sadly the leopard was missing.
Overall the provided service was excellent.

I had a truly unforgettable experience. Our guide was so knowledgeable and fun.
It was certainly worth my money, we got to see every animal on our list. The service at the camp grounds was equally amazing . I would most certainly use this company again .

Worth Every Dollar
5/5

I've done Safaris before but this one to the Masai Mara has been the best of them all. My daughters (7 and 4) thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I loved how they enquired on our specific requests and needs for the trip and delivered to that and more. Everything was actually tailormade in a way that we got more bang for our buck from the choice of accommodation to meals and the trip activities. Definitely one of the best investments we've made for a safari. The entire team starting right from the admin Brenda went over and above their obligations to create memorable experiences for us.
The highlight of our trip was our guide Duncan who was well-versed with the different bird, animal and plant species. We captured over 150 bird species and 4 of the big 5 animals. Thankfully we caught some rare pics of the elusive leopard :-).

Thanks to the entire Beyond The Plains Kenya Safaris team! I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family coming to Kenya. Do not hesitate to book with them.
