Fantastic experience with Bush 2 City Adventure!
We were two couples traveling together on the trip, but meeting in Kenya from the US. Unfortunately, due to travel issues (not booked by or related to Bush 2 City), my husband and I barely made it there in time to leave for our safari. We were quite tired and had had an insane experience over the previous several days to get there, and our checked luggage had not arrived when we got there. Once we met with Bush 2 City in the lobby the morning we were leaving on safari, everything got much easier.
Luggage situation - they took a copy of the baggage claim file, and once it arrived in Nairobi, were were in Masai Mara, and they were able to pick up the luggage from the airline, transfer it to a smaller airport, and have it delivered to us at the Masai Mara airstrip. This took very little from me to have to sort out, and I can't tell you what a weight off that was and how much I appreciate all of the things that I'm not aware of that went on behind the scenes to make that happen.
Guides - We had two guides, as you switch guides and vehicles at border crossings. We had Kevin in Kenya and Nickson in Tanzania. I can't say enough good things about both of them! You spend a lot of time every day with your guides as you are all in a confined space of a Land Cruiser for many hours. Both Kevin and Nickson are bright, articulate, and personable. We are very conversational folks and ask a lot of questions. I don't think there was a question that Kevin couldn't answer! You'd be lucky to get either of them as guides on your trip!
Accommodations - We chose the semi-luxury option for our trip. Most of the places were great. A constructive piece of feedback I'd offer is (if possible given availability, etc.) not booking so many nights back to back within the same chain. The food options between them are very similar and become repetitive after so many days/nights.
Overall - We had zero issues working with the company to set up this adventure, had zero issues with them during the trip - only many positive things to say! We would absolutely recommend them to friends and family, and if we return, would 100% work with them again.

Experienced tour operator
I had a fantastic time traveling around serengeti national park with shuma . I initially chose the company for 2 reasons. First of all martin provided me with much better advise and explanations on where to go and the best time to visit such places than the other companies i reached out to.and second they were their prices were cheaper for the same package offered by other campanies . Infact some of their packages were much better than other companies but still charged less.
Shuma was a great guide and travel companion throughout the journey and was extremely knowledgeable about the wild animals. He was concerned on making the trip a good experience and took great care to preserve the nature in the places we visited.
His communication and interaction with other guides made the whole process easier as we could easily tell where certain animals are.
The accommodations at tuonane serengeti camp was amazing . I loved their meals and the view and would highly recommend this place . Generally i had a wonderful experience and would recommend team SAWAS to anyone wishing to travel to serengeti.

Perfect safari for friends and family
Me and my friend used Meijo Safari to book our safari-tour to Tanzania.
From the beginning Daudi the operator were really helpful with booking both the tour, the taxi and the hotels since we were going to sleep a night before and after the tour in Arusha before going to Zanzibar.
We arrived in the airport where our driver took us to a nice hotel. The morning after we were picked up by the driver. We went for the safari and stayed at the Figi Lodge the two nights we had.
We went for a 3-day safari.
Our driver Gamma is the best guide I’ve ever met. He knew everything about the animals and we learned a lot from him. His positive mindset and way of handling the tour was excellent.
The cook Ali was very nice as well, he prepared food for morning, lunch and dinner. All the meals were freshly cooked and tasted very nice. Ali is also one of the most smiling chefs I’ve ever met.
Overall a very nice trip and I would recommend Meijo safari, Daudi, Gamma and Ali for everyone.

Incredible!
From beginning to end working with Lion King Adventures was nothing short of an amazing experiences.
Booking: We worked with Rosemary to secure our safari booking. She was very thorough and patient with all of our questions. This was our first time visiting Tanzania or going on a safari so we had a lot of questions. She helped us pick the perfect safari for us and she was very accommodating. She also helped me arrange for an extra bottle of champagne to be placed in our room upon arrival since we were celebrating our anniversary and my wife’s birthday.
The Safari: We decided to do a three day safari that consisted of visits to Tarangerie National Park, the Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Manyara which turned out to be the perfect amount of time for us, especially since we were going to Zanzibar after the Safari. Three days at these different locations provided exactly what we were hoping for on our safari experience. Our guide was Abu and honestly he was the best part of our trip to Tanzania. He was personable, funny and very knowledgeable of all the wildlife and fauna we encountered. You could tell he took pride in his work and in his country and that made us feel like we were in the best hands.
Overall, we can’t say enough good things about our experience with Lion King. Their professionalism and services helped make our trip truly special. Can’t wait to come back and use them again!

Super Reliable & Efficient Company!
My family and I went on a 14-days-customized private safari from Nairobi and ending in Mombasa. Claire as my main contact proved to be a very efficient and reliable organizer who patiently answered all my questions and made adjustments and changes wherever necessary. Our driver and guide was Joel who I would recommend him for any safari. He is a very experienced and reliable driver as well as a great guide for game viewing. Everything he did was very attentive and efficient. He really went out of his way to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. We enjoyed his company very much and would go with him to the remotest corners of Africa. I can recommend Ravina Tours to anybody as a very trustworthy company. It is always a bit awkward to send money ahead of one’s trip without know what to expect. In this case – you are very safe and in good hands!!!

Everything taken care of
Great experience with Aron as our driver. Everything was taken care of in terms of meals, lodging, transportation. Just had to show up and have a good time. Communication with the owner, Hillary, to adjust the schedule and coordinate was very fast and responsive
Aron was a hero for getting the car out of some pretty gnarly mud gullies! He did a great job of getting us to all the animals we wanted to see. Fun guy with a good sense of humor too.
Two things to improve:
- I would have loved if Aron was more talkative when it came to educating us about the animals and the region. Often I had to initiate questions to him.
- The group (including the guides) got a bout of food poisoning at the second lodge (Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp) due to some bad fish. Maybe no more seafood or other risky meats for the lodging meals…

We had a 5 days Safari. Everything was well organized. The guides were professionals and we saw good games because of that. Would recommend this company strongly. It’s runt by a local named Hamis. He become a friend of us. He has a good company and you can trusted him that he will make this experience unforgettable for you.

We did the 3-day tour with a group of 10 friends from Boston. It was incredible! I would definitely recommend anyone doing it, it is worth it. Our tour guide was amazing and made sure we saw all the animals. He was very friendly and very accommodating to meet all our wants and needs

There are so many companies in Tanzania to book a Safari or tour, but we were so glad we found this one! It made our honeymoon unforgettable. After the Gombe tour, we also booked a 5-day Safari and a day tour to waterfall/hot spring here. Everything is arranged well, always a good guide, good food and very nice locations. The communication is excellent. You know your holiday is in good hands. I would recommand this to everyone.
