Tazama is truly dedicated to its customers and will ensure a fantastic travel experience.
When I first came across Tazama’s Tripadvisor review page while looking for a safari tour operator, the distribution was so heavily skewed toward 5-star ratings that it seemed almost too good to be true. However, after going on a 7 day safari with Tazama, I see why it is rated so highly – put simply, Tazama provides fantastic and personal customer service at a very fair price. You cannot go wrong with Tazama and you will likely have one of the most memorable travel experiences of your life.
My tour guide, Antony, was very responsive leading up to the trip to all questions I had about what to bring and expect. During the trip itself, I came to know Antony as a man with deep experience as a safari guide as well as an incredible level of dedication to his clients. He was always able to maneuver quickly as a driver to get us the best views of the sights. He knew a lot about each of the animals and taught us very interesting things about them along the way. He was very flexible with our schedule - happy to extend the game drive past expected hours as well as end the day early when we were tired from being out for so long. He stopped along the way at a local dining spot since we wanted to try traditional Kenyan cuisine. Antony can do it all for his customers and does so with a very encouraging and positive attitude.
In addition, I felt that the itinerary was well planned out and am very pleased with the lodgings provided for us. We visited four different parks/reserves which boasted different terrain and types of animals. The food was very good and the service at our lodgings was attentive and spot-on. I was a little nervous about sleeping in tents for a week but the tents were clean and much more comfortable than I expected (more like glamping than camping).
I saw many awesome things during the trip but the highlight of the trip was seeing lions hunt down some prey. The intensity and natural rawness of this experience will stick with me forever, and I recommend everyone to do a safari at least once. If you are coming to Kenya, do yourself a big favor and book with Tazama – rest assured that you will be in the hands of experts who care about providing the best possible customized experience for you.

Amazing hike
We had a great Climb with a really good mixed group of people 8people (ages ranged from 25 to 50). It was a quite a hard hike to reach on the rooftop Kili but with the help of our Guides and the crew we did it to summit. Hiking at altitude were very hard but the whole group made it to the Uhuru Peak by adopting a slowly (pole pole) but steady pace and we had sunrise and great visibility on the top Uhuru Peak. It took us 4 days to get up and 2 days to come down and I would recommend building up your muscles before the trip as it is quite strenuous. The campsite clean, good and the guides and porters did a great job. Small piece of advice to all hikers is to take some of clothing, layers, pants, socks and the best warm jackets you can afford (other climbing gear you can rent from the company). Overall, we had a great experience.

Fabulous Experience
Overall, the trip experience was superb and the opportunity to see the Cheetah in Serengeti National Parks was incredible. The addition visit to Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania is one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world, was a great stopover during our safari. The overall itinerary was well thought out, the accommodation and transport were good, all local staff were always friendly, helpful and efficient. Moses as a professional guide, he is knowledgeable with animals during the game drive, good manner and services were particularly outstanding

Custom Dream Trip
E-Trip Africa is a small tour operator who is extremely responsive to the requests for taking a solo safari. Excellent and fast communications via email, very accommodating to my request for intimate luxury camps with elevated tents, etc. I looked at several tour operators and E-trip Africa offered the best price. Ben's knowledge of the different camps was also helpful in deciding on lodges so we didn't have to spend an hour driving to get to a park. If you stay in a park, there's wildlife outside your tent since in Tanzania the camps are not fenced.
Now, for the actual safari itself. The MOST outstanding travel experience of my life. My safari guide David Mushi is so knowledgeable about animal behavior, the numerous bird species and the ecosystems in the various parks: Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Highlands and the Serengeti. I learned so much from him. He could tell me when a bird was about to fly so I could capture it in flight, or when a lioness was going to yawn so I could capture an incredible picture. His service was outstanding- I felt taken care of. All I had to do was show up at the time we agreed upon. He kept the vehicle pristine, ordered lunch boxes, had two liters of bottled water in the seat pocket every day without fail. I did not realize this prior to my safari, but your guide makes or breaks safari. Yes, the tents were very nice, the food at the camps was delicious, but when you are in a truck for 8 hours with a person who is at the top of their craft... magical. I am in awe of this man and how committed he was to making sure I had an outstanding experience. I highly recommend E-trip Africa and request David to be your guide. You will have a fantastic trip.

An incredible tour operator who facilitated an unforgettable trip
Tazama African Holidays facilitated a truly unforgettable trip to Kenya. The communication and planning with our tour operator leading up to the trip was prompt and clear with them answering any questions we had concerning different aspects of the trip. The tour was very well planned and executed which allowed us to see a variety of parks, landscapes, and wildlife which Kenya has to offer. I came away having seen much more than I had anticipated which was great. Anthony's years of experience was evident though his navigation and knowledge of the different parks and the animals that resided there. Throughout the trip Anthony was extremely accommodating and continually surprised us again and again in the best ways possible. If you want to go on a safari to Kenya or Tanzania Tazama African Holidays is the way to do it!

Absolutely Amazing 7 days Safari
We had a six-night, seven-day trip that included Masai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo.
We chose the lodges from some of the suggestions that Rosalyn gave us, and we are very grateful for Rosalyn's suggestions.
We were given good cars with great drivers Peter and Martin who showed us everywhere quite patiently.
Unfortunately, our luggage remained at the previous airport and we received it two days later, Rosalyn worked very hard and followed up on sending our luggage.
Definitely, if any of my friends decide to travel to Kenya, I will introduce this company

Best experience of my life
My wife & I came for a honeymoon to the beautiful country of Kenya, everything was planned to perfection, even the communication with Robert was excellent and Robert gave us his best guy “Jonathan”, I believe Jonathan very pure heartedly wanted us to have the best best best of time and make a memory for the rest of our lives.
What we did?
Day 1: arrive and rest at Nairobi in radiun blu, super safe & beautiful property
Day 2: here is where the journey gets exciting and we go to nakuru national park, we arrived and it was a beautiful day with some drizzle, just after reaching we checked in and had a little rest at about 3:30 PM we went out for a game drive and to our surprise the first animals we saw... are the ferocious lion couples... apart from that we saw several several more animals no rhino in sight though.
Day 3: we wake up early morning leave for an early morning game drive and bam Jonathan’s super friend circle and constant radio chatters helped us to see a full family of rhinos... it was beautiful... we also saw thousands of Flamingos. In late afternoon we move to the beautiful lake naivasha for spotting some hippos. After that we went to hell’s gate for riding a 16km street of bicycle with our cycle guide Joseph, it was. Mesmerizing experience
Day 4: Early morning drive to lake naivaisha, where we are accompanied by a boat driver who takes us around the lake naivasha, lastly we had a beautiful beautiful by walking extremely close to some beautiful water bucks, giraffes, wilder beasts, gazelles and zebras
Day 5: early morning longgggggg journey to the world famous Masai Mara to watch some big cats... we reached in late afternoon for lunch and went for an evening game drive where we spotted leopards & a full cheetah family.
Day 6: having game drives and our breakfast and lunch in the middle of a jungle! What an experience !
Super super super thank you to Explorer Kenya team & Jonathan who is not your average safari guide but a guy who really wants you to have the best of time while you are there.
Whatever you need in Kenya just ask Jonathan and his connections would fix you up.
Loved the trip, a memorable honeymoon.
We still have a day to go, we are now on our way to Nairobi for a PCR test and taking the flight back tomorrow for our home countries.
