Super nice people and a good organisation with the Hakuna Matata lifestyle!
We had a wonderful 3 day trip (Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara). The ranger Loi called us so many facts about the animals and the nature. The organisation is really good so you can easy relax. We‘re really thankful to been there!

Under rated.
We booked to a part of Zambia that we were not familiar with. South Lawanga, not hard to get to but not all that easy, which made it perfect for us. We did not want the over touristing that can occur in some parks. The Thornicroft Lodge was perfect. Very comfortable, food was exceptional and the expert management was reflected in the entire experience. Game drives were always fun, and sometimes quite exciting. Due to the lower volume, animal sightings were often not overrun with other vehicles, and the game was quite plentiful. One person who insured our trip exceeded expectations was Elina Phiri, who manages the lodge. She insured that all went smoothly, from game drives to making sure we were where we supposed to be on time. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone.

Initial communication with Robert at Beacon Safaris was very good. He accommodated all our requests prior to booking. However, it took a few emails literally 6 days before we travelled to confirm the payment balance and pick up from our hotel. We were so relieved to see Peter our tour guide in reception waiting for us! Peter was great, super knowledgeable and really friendly. He went out of his way to ensure we had the best safari experience…and we did! We saw lions, a cheetah enjoying its catch and lots of rhinos, giraffes, elephants, hippos and zebra. As we were suffering badly from a stomach bug, he ensured we were comfortable and had plenty of water and washroom stops. It was such a great personal service, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Beacon Safaris again

Amazing 6 Day Safari
We had an incredible 6 day private safari as part of our honeymoon, hosted by Lenchada Safaris, with our driver/guide Moses! Booking was easy and simple, and Alex answered all the questions we had beforehand via email. We visited Masai Mara-Lake Naivasha-Amboseli and stayed deep in the park at Masai Mara, at the Ashnil Camp at the recommendation of Alex after our first choice was booked out by a private group. It was a fantastic choice that put us right in the middle of the park for morning and evening game drives. Objectively, Moses might have been the best safari driver in the park. Besides seeming to know everyone, he made every effort to make sure we saw the big 5 (which definitely requires a little luck along with a ton of skill). On our last morning in Masai Mara, Moses heard there was a rhino (the last of the big 5 for us) in the distance over the radio, zoomed across barely-marked trails, and got us there right in time, just before the rhino disappeared into the bush for the day. Incredible! As a side-note, DEFINITELY upgrade to the Land Cruiser, instead of a van. It would have been impossible to go where we did and see as many animals as we did in the park if we were in a van instead of a Land Cruiser! Lake Naivasha was a good stopover, where we did a “walk with wildlife” at Moses’s recommendation, in addition to the included boat tour, which was definitely worth it, as we got to be on the ground right next to giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. On our full-day drive at our final stop, Amboseli, Moses made sure we saw everything possible, and knew exactly where to drive and pull over so that we always have Mt Kilimanjaro in the background for the photos. So many elephants!! Overall it was an amazing experience at a great value, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Lenchada (and hopefully have Moses as our guide) again!
