Wow, what can I say. Tazama Africa Safaris delivered on so many levels, I could not recommend them more highly!
Choosing a company to book with for a safari tour is not easy! Competition is rife and prices differ tremendously. Thus, its so difficult to know what is a good deal or value for money. This is where Tazama truly do deliver. We compared various tour companies and read lots of reviews and they came out on top every time. Unlike others, Anthony, the managing director is quick to respond to your messages and emails. He is professional, curtious and customer oriented. He was more than happy to tailor any package to suit our needs/requests including changing accommodation, national parks, pick up and drop off times and locations which made our trip efficient and effortless. Exactly what you want as a customer looking for an amazing experience exploring all Africa has to offer.
Furthermore, Anthony went the extra mile to help us out before we had even arrived in Kenya! He was able to solve our Visa issue In a matter of hours before we flew out. This I will be forever grateful for and saved us having to miss our flight and re book. Other companies would definitely not do this for their clients! Anthony saved us yet again shortly into our trip when I left my wedding ring in the Crown Plaza Hotel. He went out of his way to go back and collect it and then met us on our last day to return it. No problem is to big or to small for Tazama to solve and if they can help you, they really will.
As for our trip, we chose the 7 day special Kenya safari and it did not disappoint. We visited various national parks including Samburu National Reserve, Olpejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha and Maasai Mara National Reserve. On our first morning Anthony introduced us to our driver and tour guide Joshphat (nicknamed Q). An experienced, knowledgeable and friendly man who has been leading tours for over 12 years. Q took great care of us during our entire stay, was always on time, gave us superb advice and made sure we got the most out of our experience. The routes were always interesting and in each area he provided us with lots of information and insights into Kenyan life, the different tribes, languages, landscapes and animals. Moreover, he explained how to track the various animals, signs to look out for and their behaviours, which was extremely enlightening and made our experience even more memorable. By day three we had already seen the big five. We even managed to watch a pair of lions hunting as well as a pride protecting their kill from hyenas and other scavengers.
The accommodation chosen for us was perfectly suited to our needs, wants and expectations and Anthony had even included some extra hidden surprises such as room upgrades, bottles of champagne, flower decorations and fruit plates. We also chose to upgrade the vehicle to a Toyota Land Cruiser. This alongside booking a private tour I highly recommend as although it costs a little extra it gives you so much more freedom and flexibility, making your trip extra special.
If and when we book in the future, we would definitely book with Tazama again, and I suggest and recommend you do to!

The Best Safari Ever
We are a group of 6 all Tanzanian residents (myself, Italian, my wife, Tanzanian, 2 french and 2 dutch friends), and we are just back from an amazing experience with Safari Crew.
We have all been on safari before but never experienced such an attentive service and precise organization. All camps and lodges were simply excellent, the “stretched” Toyota Land Cruiser was supercomfortable, our guide extremely knowledgable. We warmly suggest this safari outfitter with no hesitation.

We booked 3 days 2 nights with BuyMore Avdentures for Masai Mara.
The 4x4 was very clean and confortable, water available for the trip.
Charles, our driver was professional, he has many experience in safari, knows how to spot animals, give you explanations about masai mara, local culture etc...

An outstanding, informative, and well-organized 13-day honeymoon!
We are so lucky we found Blue Cranes Safari! My husband and I normally plan our own travel, but since the trip was for our honeymoon, we decided to enlist the help of an operator. We chose Blue Cranes Safari because they were local, they customized an itinerary that magically fit our (very) long list of ideas and interests into 13 days, and Derek was friendly and easy to communicate with. They also were able to work with our budget, and hiring them was worth every penny.
Our guide Me-Gusto was one of the reasons the trip was so special. He was friendly and professional, passionate about Namibia, and truly a wealth of knowledge. Any question we had – whether it was about Namibia’s history, the birds & animals, the geology, and even the termites – he was able to answer! We loved hearing all of his stories, not just about Namibia, but about his life as a guide. He was a great photographer, and we are lucky that he was able to capture so many of our amazing memories of the trip.
Our itinerary was very ambitious, with jam-packed days. We were able to see Windhoek, Kalahari Desert, Sossuvlei, Walvis Bay/Swapkomund, Spitzkoppe, Damaraland, and Etosha. And while we wished we could have stayed at some of the lodges longer (2 nights was the longest we ever stayed), we appreciated the need to keep moving in order to see everything. Me-Gusto kept our spirits high and we were able to adjust when needed on-the-ground. All of the visits and activities were inspiring and informative, and in retrospect we’re glad we were able to see so much of Namibia!
We would recommend Blue Cranes Safari to all our friends and family. And while we would say it was a trip of a lifetime - we are already talking about the next time we’ll be back!

Great safari with a good guide
We spent 3 days in Selous with Isaya : safari by boat then a full day in the park and walking safari. All was very well organised : Isaya (and Francky) came and pick us at our hôtel in Morogoro and then we went to Selous. We slept at Mloka Lodge with Isaya and Francky : this lodge is very great. Safari was also great : we saw a lot of animals specially girafe and one léopard. Isaya gave us a lot of informations about animals and his country, it was very interesting.
We spent 3 good days with them.

Fantastic experience!
We greatly appreciated the professionalism of the Safari by Z team.
During the preparation Gladys was very efficient and responded very quickly to all our requests by making various proposals. During the stay she did a very good follow-up.
We were delighted with Ayubo driver guide who always knew where to find the animals and he was so easy to be with answering all our questions.
The car was comfortable and the roof can be lifted for better viewing. Binoculars were at our disposal.
Advice: take sweaters because in the evening it can be cool.

Well organized tour, great communication with the organizer.
Booked the 12 days safari with Greyton Bush Tours. I communicated with Paul, who was available all the times to assure that all the transitions going smoothly in both countries, Kenya and Tanzania.
This safari was one of the best experiences, excellent and knowledgeable tour guides, saw lots of animals including the big 5. Accommodation had a variety from tent camps to hotels, all good experiences. All included meals were tasty, good and fresh, plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Being a solo female traveler, all the guidelines assured my safety and to have a good time. Special thank you for the guides who made my trip memorable: Anthony, Clinton, Boniface and Mike.
