I am so so impressed with Southern Africa 360. They kept us updated on amazing specials and planned the perfect safari at Simbavati. We had the nest guide Nicole who was amazing with kids and one of the drives where we didn’t see many animals ended up being the most fun drive ever for my 10 and 12 year old! They are seasoned safari goers so they’re hard to please!!! In all our 20+ years of safari Nicole was hands down our best guide.
Nikki at Southern Africa 360 is on point with all our travel arrangements, dietary requirements, any last minute changes, anything you could want or need - she’s on top of it. She is also local to the area and knows her places inside out so she will only recommend things that are suitable for you and within budget. All our trip during our 3 years in South Africa were planned by her and we didn’t do wrong even once.

Professional yet adventurous, expansive yet value for money and organized yet in touch with nature.
We've just had one of our best adventures thanks to Suricata Safaris. Indeed we saw more animals than we thought possible. Suricata took us deep into the wilderness and we were one with the nature and yet all the time, we felt safe. We saw a pride of Lions up close, a family of Cheetahs even closer and a whole herd of Elephants within touching distance and yet it all was natural and without disturbing their space or their lives. Of course, we saw more: including Giraffes, Zebras, Leopards, Hippos, Wildebeast and many more.
They were very helpful from the get go with clear, transparent communication about the itinnery, costs and what was required. We were picked up from the airport, taken to a modern hotel and informed of the next steps with the minimum of fuss. Everything was truly "Hakuna Matata"!
We went in a group and the human interactions made it even better. The staff were helpful and involved with every step; willing to cater to requests and always provided information. Onesmo, our driver and guide is experienced and knew the ins and outs of all the animals - what they do and how they live, even if some of the facts were surprising (did you know that elephants bury their dead and hold a wake over a week?). Salim, our chef cooked to perfection everyday: breakfast, lunch and dinner, over an open fire, with a variety of tastes. He even made an extra special Tanzanian dish purely on a whim. All in all, our expectations were blown out of the water and we fully enjoyed our whole experience.

Fantastic!
Bamboo Ecotours are fantastic! We had to postpone our trip for over a year due to COVID after our permits had already been purchased. Edison did a great job communicating with me on WhatsApp and email, alleviating any concerns. Our driver Fred was very informed and made the drive to Bwindi and our "African Massage" very interesting. And though the airline lost our luggage, Herbert drove sixteen hours round trip to deliver it to us in time for our trek! They are such a great company! The lodge Edison suggested, Rushaga Gorilla Lodge, was amazing and very close to the forest entry gate. Oh yeah, the gorillas! What can I say? Spectacular!

Great Experience!
This was our second trip in Kenya with same company "Silver Spark Africa Limited. They have maintained their service, just like the previous trip. We really thank Abongo and our guide for giving us the best safari. It was a great tour that covered a lot of Maasai Mara culture. Giving us the best experienced both culture and nature. Really enjoyed the camping part of the tour in Maasai Mara at Wajee Mara.

Amazing and unforgettable experience!
Everything about Jocky was great since the first minute I contacted them. They were very helpful, and communication was always smooth. Once in Nairobi, my driver Joseph was very patient with me while I had to stop to get some cash. Also, extremely helpful with everything I needed - even a PCR test during the tour. Joseph was always asking us how we were, explaining everything about the Safari and telling us all the animals’ names. He found lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, mongoose and hienas for us. We say babies (lions and cheetahs and all the baby zebras as well), and he was always delighted to see how happy we were while seeing all the animals. I’m happy to recommend not only Jocky Tours but Joseph as well. He’s amazing! Everything was perfect! ❤️

Amazing from start to end!
We just returned from an amazing 10 day safari with Spirit of Kenya and only have great things to say about them. From day 1 of the planning process, Vanessa was there to answer all our queries, customize our trip based on our preferences and make any adjustments required along the way such as planning our PCR tests. It was a real pleasure planning this trip with her and the result is exactly what we were after!
We had the same awesome experience with our driver Charles who made our trip so enjoyable. With his spotting skills and contacts, we managed to see all the animals on our bucket list! Every day, he would adjust the schedule to make sure everyone in our family (2 adults and 3 teens) had an amazing time. He kept our three teens engaged with his knowledge and with the amazing sights they got to see. All this was done with a lot of laughs and enjoyment.
For those worrying about Covid, we felt very safe in all the places we visited. Charles wore his mask at all times even though he was fully vaccinated. We all returned and received negative PCR tests (on departure and then on arrival in Canada).

We had a great time at Masai Mara. We were 2 couples and our guide Daniel was amazing!
We saw so many animals and we could see that he knew what he was doing, were to go to find the hinging animal!

Trip of a lifetime!
We are a family of 4, with 2 teenagers and selected VIMAT at short notice for the 5-day luxury safari. Well, it turned out to be the trip of a lifetime with childhood dreams of the Serengeti being experienced in reality, truly amazing.
Vincent, the owner of VIMAT, responded quickly on both email and WhatsApp and was very helpful in setting up the trip, especially with accommodating last minute changes as we lined up our flights and the connections. We were met on arrival at Kilimanjaro airport and completely looked after until our departure. All the accommodations and arrangements were flawless including the arrangements for pre-departure COVID testing in the middle of the Serengeti. The results were ready within 48hr.
A huge shout out to Peter our guide: He was fantastic! He has in-depth knowledge of the area, an incredible ability to spot game and is like a textbook for bird identification. This trip was more than just seeing wildlife, it was about experiencing the endless Serengeti plains and refreshing our minds. Unlike some tour operators that are limited by a set mileage Peter had free range and this meant that we travelled extensively to areas that were more remote and were witness to some incredible game viewings as a result.
We highly recommend Vincent Matari’s company VIMAT and would definitely use their services again in the future.

Based upon a recommendation from two sets of dear friends who have both traveled with Joshua Monah, we hired Joash Africa Wilderness Insight Limited ("JAfrica") for our Serengeti safari and could not be more pleased with our choice or experience for a number of reasons, including Joshua's:
- KNOWLEDGE: His intelligence about the park and animals is extraordinary, and he has a "sixth sense" on where and when to find them, even the most elusive! He knew the answer to every question we asked him about the animals and we -- both the teens and the adults in our group -- learned far more than we ever could have imagined. This was my 4th African safari and by far my most favorite!
- GEAR: JAfrica's safari vehicle is very comfortable and it outfitted with everything one could need, including a charging station, guide books, a cooler of cold drinks, and so much more. Joshua's camera was far better than our own and he helped us to capture images on a memory card he gave to us that we will treasure forever.
- AUTHENTICITY: At our request, he helped us to plan a safari that was a true Tanzanian experience; other operators who proposed itineraries seemed to pitch only the properties with surface-level gloss; Joshua had recommendations that were lesser known gems; just what we were looking for but could not have found without him!
- HOSPITALITY: Joshua went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of at every step of our time in Tanzania -- from the moment we landed at the Kilimanjaro airport until the moment we left to return home. And we knew that, in Joshua's very capable hands, we were not only safe but that every detail of our journey and adventures had been thoughtfully and thoroughly attended to, both in advance and in the moment.
- FLEXIBILITY: When our arrival in Tanzania was nearly 3 days delayed affecting our planned itinerary, Joshua jumped in to the rescue. While we were (finally!) en route to JRO, he made dozens of calls to properties and airlines on our behalf to help us modify our plans and make up for the time we had lost. We could never have accomplished this without JAfrica; it required a trusted partner on the ground with established and mutually respectful business relationships, who was fluent in Swahili, and who was looking out for our best interests.
- TEAM: Joshua is amazing, and his team is also. This includes his business partner and brother, Moses, who took very good care of us pre-safari. His team member, Richard, served as our excellent driver and guide in Karatu post-safari. Everyone on the JAfrica team is top notch, reliable, and trustworthy.
- FRIENDSHIP: It was impossible not to become fast friends with Joshua immediately and, over the course of our time together, he became a dear friend.
If any or all of the above are important to you when hiring a guide in Tanzania, I highly recommend hiring Joshua and/or his company. You will be in the best of hands and will not regret it.

Karibu Safaris got m everything I asked to see in such a short 3-day safari. Worth it.
Ambrose was the best safari guide I could have asked for. We saw 4/5 of the big 5 because of all the hard work he put in to guide us to the best spots. Also, the wildebeast migration was exceptional. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to go on a short safari since it worked out so well for me even though I only booked it a couple days ahead of time after already arriving in Nairobi.
