The very best anyone could want, every step of the way.
From the minute I considered this tour till I was dropped off at the airport the service was superb. Being a solo traveler I was concerned about connections, safety and communications. Joshua was my coordinator and walked me through everything. He was available for any questions and answered promptly. I had a problem with connecting flight and he assisted me, I took a bus from Nairobi and met me at the bus drop off. Meals, understanding how the safari worked different transfers and even getting groceries. He was so positive professional and helpful. I would encourage anyone considering a safari in Tanzania to check this company out and the go as far as to as for Joshua. A wonderful experience and hope that more people get the chance to see what this country has to offer. Again thank you so much Joshua you are truly one of a kind.

CHOOSE THIS COMPANY! Here’s why:
Short version: Best guides, best prices, best equipment, best food!
Long version: When you book a 4-day Mount Kenya tour, you’re excited to focus on the trail/views/camping. This company took care of all the logistics which allowed us to fully engage in our experience. They met us at our Airbnb in Nairobi and transported us to Nanyuki via matatu. They helped guide us through equipment rental with a quality vendor near the gate- everything they recommended we rent ended up being much appreciated (especially trekking poles!!!). We were very comfortable with our 4 team members. Primarily we were lead by Jimmy, who was very in tune to matching our social energy- chatting for hours at times, but being in comfortable silence on the hard legs. He respected our physical boundaries, yet encouraged us to challenge ourselves. At a point where one of us thought we couldn’t continue, the team didn’t hesitate to divide and conquer in order to cater to my brother and I’s differing needs (but luckily that didn’t have to happen!). The rest of the staff was prepared to carry all our stuff for us throughout the whole trek, and each day had a tent and (SO MUCH) hot tea ready for us when we arrived at the next camp. We had 3 hot meals per day that were unique and true to local Kenyan cuisine, compared to others we saw on the trail with bagged lunch.
The level of service we received can NOT be beat at such a price. Huge thanks again to Kelvin, Ian, Maron, and Jimmy. Happy hiking :)

We were picked up very punctual, went to the park.
There we changed cars and into a safari car that was awsome.
July is very cold so bring jackets!!
We didn’t get to see the big five, but we saw lions, elefants, giraffes, himpalas, kurus, cheetas, hippos and lots of birds!!

Dishonest, manipulative, careless and impolite
We selected Silas based on 20 reviewed from Tripadvisor. That was a big mistake. Silas made us believe that our agreement would be honoured. Unfortunately, we spent most of the tour begging him to provide us what we agreed on. It never happened. Some of the planned activities were delayed until it was impossible to do. We paid for these activities but never received them. We almost missed the gorilla tracking activity.
Horrible experience with Silas. I will certainly report his unprofessional and dishonest activities to the authorities.
Beware of the tour operator. He will put you in positions to force you to pay twice for accommodations and activities . He will try to borrow money from you and you will hear about his banks blocking his accounts. Don’t trust or believe him. Silas does not represent Uganda tourism industry. He is a bad apply that should be removed from the box and thrown away.
Uganda is highly recommended as a destination but beware of the likes of Silas.
