During our rides in the safari he enlightened us greatly on the nature of the wildlife in the safari and waited patiently for us as we took our photos. He also greatly informed us on Kenya itself and it’s people in terms of the current news

The best safari experience ever!!!❤
In June 2023 my husband and I finally went to Uganda! It was our dream to see the mountain gorillas so in March 2023 we started checking for some tour operators offering safaris in Uganda on safaribookings.com. The first one we contacted was Big Apes Africa. Since the first contact with Peter, we immediately liked his way of dealing with us: he was polite, honest, clear, and he never insisted or kind of forced us to book immediately, he was always telling us: take your time, choose what is best for you, no rush my friend, etc. We really appreciated him. Of course, we received also quotes from other tour operators, but we decided immediately to stick with Peter and the safari he planned and customised specifically for us to meet our needs (in terms of time, budget and experiences we wanted to make). We made the payment, everything went smoothly and in June we were finally in Uganda.

Trustworthy and responsive to our request
Two of us had a private 3-day Safari tour with our guide and driver, Am Noely. Other than the fascinating landscape and animals seen especially in the paradise like Ngorogoro creator, we got the chance to dance with Maasai people and had blessing prayers for all their suffering during the Covid pandemics. We also had a walking tour to the local traditional market with his explanation of the daily life of local people and knowing his life story like friends. This was an unforgettable and eye opening trip for our in depth understanding of the beautiful Tanzania.

Very well managed tour
Right from the beginning, the trip was perfect.
Hellen helped us plan our trip, was very responsive in answering all our questions. Then we were lucky to have Johnnie as our guide, a very friendly and knowledgable guide. We spotted the big 5 thanks to him and had a wonderful time overall. Stays at Maara, Nakuru and Amboseli were very comfortable.

Contacted Lilly about a trip for March but had to change dates because of a family illness.
Lilly was great and set up a perfect schedule taking into account our preferences (wanted to include Fish River Canyon and Skeleton Coast). She was able to book accommodations/vehicle at short notice for June/July.
The route was great and the accommodations all good.
Lilly was available quickly when there was a very minor problem with a lodge in Etosha (not her fault) and we were able to choose from various options.

Raja and Vincent were amazing!
From the very first email, Raja went above and beyond to help. Catering to us by offering us several options on how we could get to all the sites we wanted to see on our safari. The accommodation was nice and comfortable, the food delicious and the tour as a whole was amazing.
Raja and Vincent were friendly from the moment they picked us up. The two of them would spend long hours every day looking after us, they were always amazingly friendly and professional. They were super knowledgable about every animal we saw, commenting on their eating, mating, daily life and migration patterns in detail. And they made sure we saw a lot of cool stuff!
Though we missed out on seeing a couple of the animals (Can't expect to see everything, the animals aren't exactly performers), they made sure we saw so much that I'll be carrying these memories with me forever. Making special effort to try and catch sight of these animals, going well past reasonable work hours for us.
The highlight was seeing a pride of lionesses hunt down a warthog. Absolutely incredible, but everything was amazing and we couldn't ask for more.
I'd recommend Sopai Safaris to anyone looking to travel to Tanzania. Specifically Rafa and Vincent helped make our trip there so great!

Peter, our extraordinary tour guide, surpassed our expectations! The lodges in which we lodged were also remarkable. Everywhere we visited, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We were able to see a diversity of animals up close and personal. It was an extraordinary adventure from beginning to end. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Safari with experienced guide and great organization
Just finished an outstanding 4 day safari with guide, Silas, from Suricata Safaris. His experience and knowledge was valuable as it allowed us to see so many animals and up close. Tanangire, Serengeti, Ngongoro Crater were all spectacular and must sees. The tented lodges arranged were comfortable and beautiful. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the opportunity to join a group to help lower costs and also meet wonderful people. Communicating with Suricata was easy and there were no questions about the itinerary or costs. I also appreciated them adding a city tour of Arusha on short notice. Swaleh, my guide was knowledgeable about the history of the city and country and it was a great way to spend four hours before my transfer back to the airport (arranged by Suricata of course). Suricata will be my first recommendation for anyone looking to go on safari.
