You drove a self hire camping Toyota from Johannesburg to Botswana. We mainly camped in National game parks or community camps. We saw great sites and lots of animals as we were generally staying in unfenced sites.
It was an unforgettable experience. Botswana is one of the last places of true wilderness. I have been on Safari elsewhere but there is no experience like self drive unfenced camping amongst the wildlife

Exceptional holiday with Delfin Tours
Delfin Tours was exceptional and I would recommend this tour company without any hesitations!
We booked 10 days of our trip to Kenya with Delfin Tours (Maasai Mara, Nakuru, Amboseli, Tsavo and Diani Beach).
From the first point of contact, Annalice was responsive, patient, kind and very informative. She created an itinerary that was tailored specifically to us and within our budget. She answered all of our questions and was always available throughout our trip. She would send quick notes to check-in periodically throughout our trip which felt so great knowing that we had someone available while in Kenya.
Although we booked part of our Kenya trip by ourselves as we wanted to use some of our credit card points (e.g., hotels in Nairobi and plane ticket from Diani to Nairobi), Annalice always provided excellent recommendations and great advice.
Delfin Tours provided us with hands-down the best tour guide, Tony. Tony was so much fun! He had a wealth of knowledge on animals and I swear, he had eyes all over his head as he could spot animals from far distances and provided plenty of interesting facts. He also knew so much about the history, culture and peoples of Kenya and throughout our 8 days with him, we felt so enriched and informed. We had a blast and genuinely enjoyed spending time with him. He will be dearly missed :(

The Best Trip Of Our Lives
Our recent safari to Tanzania has gone down as the best trip of our lives. We postponed this trip several times for personal reasons and Rama was always flexible to accommodate our requests with no additional charges. In the end we created a wonderful private itinerary that was perfect for my family. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with Martin as our guide. He is an excellent driver, handling the 4x4 well even in tricky situations, but it was his guiding skills that are up there. In addition to the migration, we also managed to see all the big 5 and many other animals. We found the all the camps and lodges that we were booked in welcoming and comfortable.
I have 10 out of 10 for the Gecko Team.

My wife and I came to Tanzania for our honey moon and we were very excited for all the tours. It is easy to say that Kilimanjaro Trekk team gave us all support and actually exceeded our expectations - not only because of some honey moon upgrades and the great care and quick responses to our inquiries, but mainly because of the staff and our guide Leonard - with 20plus years of experience, he is a living encyclopedia and made out safari experience ( Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara) unique. Huge shoutout to Makoninde, Prince, Fasdah (our guide at Kilimanjaro day walk) and Gasper (our guide at Arusha National Park)!

Exemplary organization and communication throughout the process, plus amazing destinations!
Rose at the Luxury Safari company, really delivered an amazing vacation for my family! At the outset, she listened to what my objectives were, for our vacation, offered some alternatives to my original suggestions, based on her experience, and then presented a bespoke vacation experience for my consideration.
After a few tweaks, we had an itinerary in place! Throughout the entire planning process, Rose was very communicative and responsive, despite our significant time differences. She really understood the importance of getting this right, and what this vacation would mean to my family.
We traveled to Africa for the last 10 days of June and first 10 days of July, and visited three countries. Every single place she suggested was spectacular! The service was exceptional at all of the camps, food was delicious, and most importantly, the game viewing was plentiful. There is not a single animal on my list that I wanted to see, but didn’t! Africa, and Rose, really delivered the vacation of a lifetime for my family and I!
As a word of caution, to future travelers, when camps, say, they have Wi-Fi, take that with a grain of salt. To say that connectivity is patchy, is kind. That was the only negative (From one point of view, anyway), but certainly is not attributable to Rose. I mention it only so that future travelers can plan to be out of contact with the world for long stretches, if you are going to remote and beautiful places in the world.
From a logistic standpoint, our travel and transfer between camps went off without a hitch, I have never felt so pampered in my life. I should also mention that the operational Director at our last camp mentioned, that if all people in the travel industry were as wonderful to work with as rose, that the industry would be a much more pleasant place to work to business.
In conclusion, we had an extraordinary, vacation experience, and much of that is due to the work of Rose and her team. I, unabashedly and wholeheartedly, recommend the Luxury Safari company for anyone who wishes to embark on a vacation to Africa.

My first encounter with this company was delightful. Our guide, Noel was very knowledgeable and always looking out for our comfort and safety. He was also a lot of fun! We did a one day cultural tour at the base of Mr. Kilimanjaro. It was very enlightening and entertaining.

Very professional and helpful.
We took 5 days safari in Kenya.
We visited 3 parks. They taken away us from airport Nairobi and spent two nights in Amboseli Park, one night in Tsavo West Park and one night in Tsavo Ist Park. Our guide Abdul and driver rolled into one was great. We saw all the big animals in different situations. Abdul drives very smoothly, speed in parks 30 km per hour and it was very comfortable for standing in the car. His great work experience allows him to find all the animals, he knows them all by name, habits and places where they can be seen. He is very punctual, we always left at the agreed time and never late.
Our journey ended on the coast in Diane.
Our special thanks to him for helping with our luggage. It was lost in Egypt andAbdul tracked it on his own. Even after our luggage caught up with us on the coast and we already parted Abdul retuned to pick up the luggage and brought it to our hotel.
We were behind him like behind a stone wall the whole trip.

An amazing experience!
I spent moments that I never imagined: an experience beyond my expectations, an unique safari!
My guide, Nasoro, was amazing. He was an ideal trip mate, with an in-depth knowledge of animals and their habitats, who also explained to me many uses and habits of Tanzania and its people: safe and prudent driving even in the most adventurous moments.
Savanna Explorers planned excellent accommodation in high-level structures and an unforgettable experience in the Serengeti Park.
