An incredible experience. A 5***** Safari !
No notes or words can express my immense gratitude to Bartho (the local owner) and his entire team for an experience that will remain forever engraved in my mind, but also in my heart. A trip made with my 14-year-old daughter.
First of all, the e-mail exchanges went very smoothly and Bartho was able to answer all my questions and advise me.
Then, on site, our driver and guide, Bashir, who speaks French, was extraordinary! He made this trip the one I could never have dreamed of. He knew how to answer all our questions, was always in a good mood, funny and an outstanding driver in a not-so-simple environment... (only those who've been there can understand

Superb guide and beautiful new retreat
We went on the five day midrange tour and we have nothing to complain about. Fred, our guide was very knowledgeable and knew everything about nature and all the animals. We felt very safe with him which was important to us when going to Tanzania. All the accomodations were excellent especially Suricatas new lodge. We would go again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Amazing safari
I had an amazing time with Karibu safaris!
Everything was well taken care of from the beginning to the end. We drove from Nairobi to the Masaai Mara. We already had an evening safari the same day and saw so many animals already!
I had a lovely tent as my accommodation.
The next day we had a full day of safari, and again saw so many animals, including the wildebeest
Very professional and hardworking
We loved our tour with Mazingira Safaris and our tour guide Simon. They were very professional and punctual, and worked extremely hard over long hours to give us the best experience possible. We would definitely recommend again!

It was perfect!
Everything was perfect. We did the Masai Mara Safari and it was great! Mark was the best tour guide, a really nice guy and always making sure that we were comfortable, he was a really good guide!

A great adventure
We had a wonderful time watching so many animals and beautiful landscapes. Our guide Freddie was great and took us safely through the bumby roads while giving interesting facts about the wildlife. The food and accomodations was really good and especially the new Suricata Lodge which was like a dream

Our driver Vincent was punctual, helpful, kind and warm with us. He gave details of each of the species we saw, and shared with us details about Rwandan culture.
We loved every minute of it and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Rwanda!

Unforgettable and very exciting trip exceeding all expectations

The safari trip was amazing. We spotted the Big Five, which was very exciting. We also saw loads of animals from just 3 meters away, including lions and a leopard. It was special and exciting to have eye contact with the wild animals from such a close distance. A lot of the experiences were very different from what I have experienced in my many previous trips around the world. It is so meaningful to see loads of animals of different species living together, eating, spending time with their families, and migrating. You really feel like you’re seeing nature in its purest form.
We probably saw over 50 different species, including all the cool animals we wanted to see. We saw a cheetah and three leopards, which is very rare. It is likely that it was not only due to luck but also our experienced (he had been driving for 20 years) and skilled driver.
The pictures we got were outstanding and friends and family loved them and wanted to go on the safari trip themselves. Also, the driver told us a lot of interesting information about the animals, plants, and nature that we observed.
The places we stayed were comfortable and had a surprisingly high standard. One of the places had an entertaining show with dancing and acrobatics. It was free and very fascinating.
We also visited Olduvai Gorge, «Cradle of Humankind». It was meaningful and spiritual to hear about and see one of the place where the first humans originated from. Some of the earliest remains of Homo Habilis, the first human species, were found in Olduvai Gorge and are exhibited. Note: everyone in your safari jeep have to pay approximately 35 dollars for you to go to the Olduvai Gorge museum (everyone in the car needs a ticket). This means that if you will stay in the car with people you don’t know, they may not be interested in paying for the ticket. A solution is that you pay for them.
Altogether, the safari was a 10/10 experience that inspired me and fuelled my passion for travelling and going on new adventures to explore the world. The trip was definitely more worth than the money and the time, and I strongly recommend it.

African Paradise Safaris are the best!!!
Our very first trip to Kenya and African Paradise Safari made it an amazing adventure. First of all, our driver, Davido, was an incredible tour guide and driver with an amazing sense of humor. We saw all the animals and Davido made sure we were safe, but yet close enough to see everything. From the migration of hundreds of zebra and wildebeasts, to scores of elephants with their babies, lions on the prowl, many lions sleeping off their kills, a leopard kill, hippos galore grazing in the marshes, flamingos, hyenas, jackals, a pride of cheetahs, giraffes, water buffalos and the many smaller animals in the gazelle family. We loved seeing it all. The accommodations were always clean and had mosquito nets for the beds although we only saw one mosquito the whole trip and the food choices were good, all buffet style. Lots of Masai entertainers along the way in their bright red clothing. Just incredible. I cannot say enough about John Peters being in constant contact with us throughout the booking process. I was a little leery booking through a tour agent outside of the US but John did not disappoint. I highly recommend this tour company and would book again if I ever return for a trip to Tanzania.
