Excellent
5/5

We had a wonderful 13 day trip through northern Tanzania. We built the route with the agency and they gave us several choice options for accommodations. The route was exactly what we wanted. We were a little concerned because the quote was more attractive than other agencies, but our fears were unfounded. The accommodations were excellent in terms of facilities, food, and service. When we had problems with our lodging arrangements, they arranged a higher level of accommodations for us. The car was a little old. The driver-guide made every effort to make the trip go well. On our night safari at Lake Manyara, we were able to see lions hunting dikdiks. Sleeping in a tent in the center of the safari was a special experience; we could hear roars and footsteps of life outside the tent and woke up to a herd of giraffes in front of our tent. A hot air balloon ride at sunrise is highly recommended.

The Best! Extremely Organized and Fantastic Staff!
5/5

My family had such a wonderful experience with Mosu! Kemy was always SO quick to respond to my messages and she ensured we had a very smooth trip. She helped me plan the trip about two months out, and she met us the day before our trip to go over our itinerary. Our guide, chef, and polers were all incredible, and we felt like family after the first day.

The trip itself is very well organized. The camping experience was very comfortable, even for my 70+ parents and two sisters (who are not inclined to go camping). The food was fantastic and well-prepared; my mom said it was the best food she'd had for the month we'd been traveling. The wilderness walks were lovely, and we saw a variety of animals (e.g. giraffes, zebras, elephants, hippos, multiple bird species, etc.) along the way.

We stayed close to the Maun Airport, and Mosu picked us up from our hotel the morning of the trip. The journey in an open-air vehicle took about 1-1.5 hours. They were kind enough to bring our bags from our previous hotel to our new hotel when we returned.

I highly recommend this trip with Mosu. It was certainly a highlight of our visit to East and Southern Africa! Thank you Kemy, Anthony, Simon, Judge, K, Mamasiq, Mindy, Shelly, Baks, and Ra Simon!!! We miss everyone!!

Experienced, organized, knowledgeable, fun, patient and safe.
5/5

We had a phenomenal trip with Benson. We had 13 in our group including 7 kids aged 13-19. They met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel. We then left for 8 days of safari the next morning. Our guides Libertus, Zablon and Ellie were fun, knowledgeable, patient and safe. We saw all Big 5 and had incredible animal experiences including lots of young. Our guides were enthusiastic about sharing their beautiful country. We visited Tanrangire, Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We also visited the Hatabi and Togo tribes, which were wonderful experiences. The hotel accommodations were very nice. You spend a lot of time in the safari trucks, which were comfortable and well maintained. Great family time and the kids were engaged. Importantly, we felt very safe the entire time in Tanzania. We only safaried in the north circle, but if you have time, I'd recommend finishing your trip in Zanzibar.

About: Safari360
AWESOME !!!! .... Ten Stars :-)
5/5

I confess, I read reviews but I hardly ever leave any :-( When I do it's because they are well earned, be it good or bad.

Four years ago I booked a two week Tanzania safari. Finally 2023 the trip actually happened after being cancelled for three years in a row (thank you Covid). I decided two weeks wasn't long enough, after traveling so far, so I decided to add some additional time before and after the originally planned trip.

After contacting several Safari companies in Tanzania, I chose Safari360. I could not have made a better choice. They can/will customize any safari to what you want to do and where you want to go. They are safe and honest and treated us as part of their family.

Petro, the owner, was just awesome to work with. I'm sure I must have drove him crazy constantly changing details of the trip(s). With each and every email he was extremely accommodating, helpful and gracious. Totally professional and never pushy. No question, request or change was ever a problem. Peto, Thank You ... you have the patience of a saint !!!

My friend and I are avid photographers so I requested, if possible, to have a guide who had some experience in the field.

We booked a four day, three night safari to visit Lake Manyara National Park and Tarangire National Park. After a couple of days, to rest up from a very long flight, we were picked up at our hotel in Arusha. Petro came along with our guide and introduced himself and our guide Godlove. I really had no idea what to expect but had no idea that these two fellas could possibly be as amazing as they were.

Godlove was/is AWESOME. Very fluent in English, knowledgeable of the parks, people, culture and wildlife. He went above and beyond in everything he did to make our trip easy, comfortable and enjoyable.. Like Petro, he was extremely accommodating, helpful and gracious. He paid attention to the smallest of details that my next 2 week safari could never have measured up to. Thank You Godlove (again) for EVERYTHING. You made our visit and safari to Tanzani the best it possibly could have been. Nothing compared to what we experienced with you.

All the camps we were booked with offered exceptional service and accommodations. The wildlife was incredible in the parks and Godlove seemed to "just know" where we'd find the best wildlife. He also knew the behavior of the animals and what they might do next to get us in the best position for the best photos.

After returning from our "other" 2 week safari we booked again with Safari360, and of course Godlove, for 3 more days of adventures in and around Tanzania. When you've had the best, nothing else will do !!!

Do not hesitate to make your safari plans with Safari360 ... you won't be sorry. Feel free to contact me if you'd like any other information about our amazing experience with them.

With the enormous choice of safari companies, do your homework. Who you chose for Safari WILL make a difference.

Amazing Day Trip!
5/5

I recently had the most incredible safari experience in Pilanesberg National Park with MoAfrika Tours, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the entire journey. From start to finish, MoAfrika Tours delivered an unforgettable adventure that exceeded all expectations.

The day began with an early morning pickup from our hotel, and I must say that our driver, Sunny, set the tone for the day right from the get-go. Sunny was not only an amazing driver, navigating the Joburg roads with ease, but he was also incredibly funny and engaging. His friendly personality immediately put us at ease, and we knew we were in for an exciting day ahead.

As we drove towards Pilanesberg National Park, Sunny shared fascinating insights about the region and its people.

Upon entering Pilanesberg, the sheer beauty of the landscape took our breath away. The vast expanse of untouched wilderness, the rolling hills, and the picturesque view all added to the sense of excitement that we were about to embark on an authentic African safari.

MoAfrika Tours had everything meticulously planned, and we had the privilege of being in a small, intimate group of around 10 people. This allowed us to have a personalized experience and ensured that everyone had a chance to spot and appreciate the incredible wildlife that calls Pilanesberg home.

Our guides expertise was truly impressive. His keen eye and knowledge of the park's residents enabled us to spot some of the most sought-after animals, including the majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, and even some lions. It was an absolute thrill to witness these animals in their natural habitat, undisturbed by our presence, and we owe it all to his exceptional tracking abilities.

One of the highlights of the day was witnessing a group of elephants being absolutely relaxed and ignoring us completely. It was a humbling experience to see these endangered creatures up close, and we were grateful to our guide for respecting their space and allowing us to observe them in a responsible and ethical manner.

The day seemed to pass by in a blur of thrilling sightings and captivating stories. Our midday break was well-organized but the restaurant messed it up a bit. Anyway, in the end it worked out but I definitely wouldn't go there because of the food.
As the afternoon unfolded, we continued our safari, eagerly anticipating each new discovery that lay ahead.

As the day drew to a close, we made our way back to the park's entrance, bidding farewell to the enchanting wilderness of Pilanesberg. However, our adventure wasn't over yet. Sunny ensured that our journey back to the hotel was just as enjoyable, sharing more stories and insights along the way.

Reflecting on the day, I can confidently say that MoAfrika Tours and, especially, our guide Sunny, made this safari experience an unforgettable one. Their attention to detail, commitment to responsible tourism, and the sheer passion they have for what they do sets them apart from the rest.

I highly recommend MoAfrika Tours to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable safari experience in Pilanesberg National Park. Sunny's wit, knowledge, and skill as a driver will undoubtedly leave you with memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, MoAfrika Tours, for an extraordinary adventure!

Excellent. Everything went well!
5/5

I booked a budget 3-day safari to Kruger. Everything went well. I got what was in the flyer, but it was better than what I was expecting. Very good price-quality relationship. We saw many animals including rarely-seen ones like cheetahs.

Uncoordinated, rushed and disappointing experience.
1/5

Having such a beautiful country, this should be such an easy job. Well it was not, it appears that the group I was in was too large for the company so they had to hire an external contractor, 3 busses from the conpany, one outsider. The best experience was the outside contractor. There was no coordination between the drivers, it almost appeared that the 3 drivers from the company had a problem with the outside contractor and did not support him in any way. The 4th driver with the people he had in his care were abandoned 2 times on the safari, one time for 1 hour and a half, when the bus could not move and see anything because the papers for the bus were with the other drivers. So 7 people out of 27 missed a part of the safari, the only encounter with a leopard. After all this, at the end of the safari we were suppose to cross the river and see the big migration, but the car we were in could not cross, luckily we were taken by a total stranger group ... otherwise we would have missed it. Last but not least our driver kept being harrassed by the others to drive faster on public roads, break the speed limit and really put our lives in dager with unsafe driving, I have seen him being called literally every 5 minutes, I felt UNSAFE! So yes ... poor experience in one of the most amazing places in the world!

Once in a lifetime experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We did a 5 day safari trip 2 days in Kruger and 3 nights on a private reserve at Umkumbe. Both were great. We stayed at Sabie River Bush lodge for the first 2 nights as a base for Kruger and although a little rougher around the edges, it's right on the river with a herd of hippos right at your doorstep. We were lucky enough to see them come right to the fence along with a herd of elephants. That made it all worthwhile. We saw lots of animals inside Kruger including cheetas up close, which are apparently rare to see. Umkumbe was much more upmarket and I recommend getting one of their luxury tents. The focus here was all about trying to spot a leopard, which sadly we didn't but we saw some rhinos, hyenas, lions and ostriches. I recommend both going into Kruger and doing a private game reserve as they're two totally different experiences. Brendon from Elephant Herd was really accommodating and didn't mind me emailing him with questions while we were travelling. I would also recommend flying to and from Johannesburg as the bus drive out was quite long.

We traveled in Tanzania and Zanzibar for almost three weeks and we loved every minute of it. We saw everything we hoped to see and more in Serengeti, the people in Tanzania were so welcoming and friendly, and we usually felt very safe. Salesmen in Zanzibar were pushy though, so that is the only thing we can mention was a bit tiring.

Our family of 16 spent two weeks in Tanzania. The first 10 days were on safari in the north western corner of the country in the last few days at a beach resort in Zanzibar we saw all the wildlife you could possibly imagine. The Ngorongoro crater was the garden of Eden. We ran into the migration of the wildebeests, which was amazing and we finally chilled out on the beach, including a sunset sale on a do and diving with the dolphins. The spice farm tour was also wonderful.
