Magnificent experience!
We booked the private 3-day tour to Gombe Stream National with Colours Africa Tours and Safaris with a start on the 8th of July in the beginning of the February. We looked through many local tour operators before we stopped our choice on Colours Africa Tours as the guys demonstrated the perfect approach, professionality and reliability preparing us a tailored solution which perfectly fit our needs. And I should admit that we didn’t regret that choice not even for a second.
The trip was organized very well. Hamis, our personal assistant who stayed with us from the moment we arrived to the Kigoma airport till the departure day, did his best to render our trekking experience unforgettable. The aperitivo and the dinner at the shore of Tanganyika Lake illuminated by the light of the fire which he organized for us were just incredible. During our stay in Gombe we had a private cook so that we could enjoy the fresh prepared meals 3 times a day

Had a great experience!
This was my first trip to Africa and I had no friends around me who had traveled to Kenya before, so I was a bit worried, but they gave me a lot of advice even before I confirmed the reservation, so I was able to make a final decision.
During the trip, some unexpected accidents happened, but every time they dealt with it sincerely, and I appreciate it. I have no complaints and had one of the most memorable and wonderful trips of my life.
I would like to thank Charles from the bottom of my heart for always being quick to respond from before the trip to after the trip.
I am sure we will travel to Kenya again.

Absolutely fantastic with great attention to detail
We booked our Tanzania trip with SVAI Luxe Escapes, and honestly speaking, it's been one of the best package holidays I have been on in a very long time. They were super organised, professional, and looked after us at every step of the way. Their communication skills were amazing especially in the early planning stages to help us understand what our options are and how best to make use of the time we have. Our contact also very understanding and supported our decision to postpone due to Covid, especially as we had elderly parents in the group
We booked a 12 day trip with SVAI, with a pick-up in Arusha, then game drives in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti, and then a few days in a lovely 5* resort in Zanzibar, with a Stone Town tour
We completed our 6 day safari trip with one of her drivers, Rashid, who was phenomenal. He put in 110% effort in making sure we didn't miss out on any excitement on the game drives and made it his mission to ensure he covered everything we wanted to see on the safari. We stayed in 1 lodge and 3 camps to make the most of different parts of the Serengeti. Priyal's (our contact) recommendation of the Nyikani camp and Ole Serai camp was spot on as they captured everything you want out of a brilliant experience staying overnight in the Serengeti.
The final phase of our trip was in Zanzibar for 4 nights at the Emerald resort. This was an amazing suggestion by SVAI! It is part of the Leading Hotels of the World Group and it is definitely leading! We were very glad we changed our resort in Zanzibar to this one as per Priyal's recommendation as the previous one had deteriorated in service. We completely trusted Priyal's judgement and honesty, and it turned out to be a brilliant stay, exceeding all expectations!
This holiday was promised as an 'unforgettable trip', and I can honestly say, Priyal and her team delivered from start to finish, going above and beyond. This holiday with my family will not be forgotten for a very long time thanks to SVAI Luxe Escapes

By far the best trip
Our family went on a 3 generation Safari+Sea trip for 17 days covering Kenya, and Tanzania (incl. Zanzibar) organized by Seven By Far. It is by far the best vacation we have had.
I came across Seven By Far on safaribookings.com. They were one of the providers from whom I requested a quote. They were prompt with the response and worked with us to modify the itinerary to our interests - adding 3 days in Zanzibar to a 14 day safari and one way travel to Zanzibar so that we could fly out of Zanzibar.
The trip covered Samburu, Abedare, Lake Nakuru, Mara in Kenya. Then, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara in Tanzania. Returning back to Kenya we did Amboselli and flew out of Nairobi to Zanzibar. Each park is different and experience is distinct. Even the air trip from Kenya to Zanzibar turned out to be a wonderful experience... flying out of the smaller Wilson airport in Nairobi on a Safarilink DASH-8 and being able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro from the plane.
Sylvester and team were always available to answer any questions during the time between Jan - Jul on various aspects of the trip, travel, and visas.
The pick and drop off from airport to hotel/ back went smooth and the accommodations were very comfortable.
The best part of the trip were the guides. They were all friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Each had a different personality and were very helpful. They very efficiently arranged for last minute requests like a balloon ride and birthday cake.They are safe drivers both on and off the road (never coming aggressively close to the animals).
Hassan is like the Wayne Gretzky of guides https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/wayne_gretzky_383282. Many times he was able position the vehicle to a place where we would have a good view of the happenings. As a result we had a front row view of cheetah kill at the Mara and a great view of lions positioning for a kill at Samburu - they missed!
Cosmas has an infectious enthusiasm and is a great spotter. He introduced us to the expressions "check the tires" (pee) and "change the tires" (poop). Helpful on day long safaris!
Wilson engaged us in conversation the most and was able to keep it interesting for a group that had been on Safari for over 10 days.
I highly recommend the services of Seven by Far and will certainly use them for future trips in that region.

Awesome !
The tour was nice ! Our driver Anold was punctual and effective and in Pilanesberg we've got a great guide. Thabo knew everything about all the animals and he also knows where to find them. We could see 3 out of 5 of big 5 and also zebras and giraffes.

Reliable, helpful and friendly.
Our driver Anold picked us up from our hotel at the planned time and drove us safely to the park. He told us to let him know if we had any concerns about his driving or needed a toilet break but everything was perfect for me. Our guide at the park, Thabo, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was honest at the outset though and warned us that we might not see everything we'd like to but thanks to his tracking expertise we saw just about every animal I could image: zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, a huge herd of elephants, a lion, and many more.
