Loved the safari tour. Andrew is very professional, extremely kind and very knowledgeable. I feel safe at all times, the car was very comfortable and brand new and we had no issues. Overall the experience was great. I will definitely repeat with Timeline Travel next time I visit South Africa.

I found out about Saunterland from a work colleague. I am originally from Kenya so done safari multiple times using other tour companies but I had some friends traveling in from the US for just 5 days and wanted to really make this memorable for them and Saunterland did not disappoint. James helped us finalize the booking so close to the actual travel date since we had to delay due to some visa issues. All this was done so effortlessly and his responses were prompt and informative. He provided me with several options and walked me through which he would recommend and why .
Our Safari tour guide was Ken and as someone who has done several of these , he is the best I have toured with so far. he was professional but relatable . He knew the answers to all the questions and has vast knowledge about the land and the animals . We also ran into several snafus and Ken handled everything like a pro. AND he did a tiktok video with us ... :)
In short , Our Mara trip was phenomenal and my best one yet!

We had a fantastic trip to Kenya with our 7 (in-law) children. From the start there was good communication with Africa travel. Traveling is traveling and sometimes things don't go as expected. Nice that there is a host in Kenya who can call you immediately and provide a solution.
We had wonderful guides for 7 days, who were able to provide a lot of information about Kenya, the flora and fauna. We have done wonderful safaris. Lions, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Elephants, Buffaloes, it was so special and amazing.
What surprised us in Kenya were the people who always wanted to sell us something.
You have to haggle on the price. We also found it difficult to determine how much tip you give to everyone who wants to do something for you. We traveled a lot in 13 days, I would like to travel a little less next time and plan a little more rest moments.

The driver has a knack for spotting all the animals you want to see. From a cheetah with its junks, to lions a few meters away to thousands of wildebeest and zebras..
The driver knows everything about the animals and nature and you can ask him anything. Together with the cook they make a nice duo. I enjoyed every day an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner with lots of vegetables and fruit!
Due to the combination of the Serengeti, the Ngorogoro Crater and the Manjara Lake, the Safari remains surprising because you are immersed in different natural landscapes.
