This is the second time we've travelled to Southern Africa through Thierry, who runs Biwakwango, and this second trip to Namibia was just as magical as our first to Botswana and Zambia. Although we were a little late in getting started, Thierry was able to organise a fantastic tailor-made trip for us, which enabled us to discover many facets of this incredible country. His excellent local knowledge (of the regions, parks and lodges, as well as the local people and culture) was a huge advantage, enabling him to give us sound advice tailored to our needs. Bad driver did not deliver tour itinerary.
Maybe this experience is idiosyncratic, but our driver was not delivering the booked tour itinerary.
We booked a 3 days Amboseli safari, with a morning game drive on the last day.
The driver refused to deliver the morning game drive even though it was clearly on the itinerary. He also got aggressive ans insulting when we brought up the topic. My conjecture is that the driver wanted to pocket in the entrance fee for the park.
Further, on the way back, driver did not pay toll for expressway in Nairobi, letting us stand in traffic jam for 2 hours and unnecessarily prolonging the journey.
Also the convenience fee they charge on online payments is unreasonable.
Otherwise the service was okay but for the price I would expect differently.
Stay away from this provider.

Excellent Safari organization
The Safari experience in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru was great, excellent organization and perfect guide Dixon. He was very helpful, always available for any needs, explaining everything you need to know.

Professional, Warm, Flexible, Humble, Friendly and most importantly the fun part of the trip!
Sopai is a new company and this is one of the reason I was keen to explore initially. Rajab who owns the company showed lot of interest and gave me lot of personal attention both before and after booking as compared to any other tour operators. This was a very important factor for me as Africa was a new country for me to visit and he was always available to answer every small question I had and mostly over a video chat. Rajab accompanied us in the trip along with a very experienced driver Vincent (he knew every nook and corner of Taranguire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) and he brought so much life to the trip. Always happy and smiling with abundance of knowledge and kept my son excited. We always had warm yummy food for every lunch in the midst of nowhere (I am biased here as I am not a fan of cold sandwiches which I saw lot of tour operators carried for their guests). We literally changed plans 2/3 times and without any fuss Rajab & Vincent accommodated our requests. They would keep recommending different options with pros and cons which made it very easy for us.
