An incredible experience
We booked a safari with Sustainable Safari Tours in August 2025, which proved to be an unforgettable experience at a competitive price. It suited our preferences in terms of accommodation (we loved sleeping in our tents surrounded by animals and nature) and our budget. We drove through the Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Game Parks, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the different contrasts. On our adventure we were accompanied by our driver Joshua and our cook John, both of whom were the perfect company to make the days even more enjoyable. Joshua, who is also the owner of the agency, is an excellent driver and went out of his way to try and see as many animals as possible, giving us amazing moments such as seeing a pride of lions, a leopard in the tree and a cheetah with its cubs. In addition, during the long drives between parks we had several discussions about our different cultures, experiences and points of view, which proved to be very enriching and a great learning experience. Joshua not only proved to be a great professional, but also a great person. We highly recommend him and will always be grateful for his treatment. Asante sana!

Was a great experience
We had an amazing experience in the Masai Mara with our guide, Newton. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and patiently answered all our questions, making the game drives both exciting and educational. Newton was also very warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout the trip, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Evaline assisted us from the moment we were still in Italy, always available, responsive, and professional. She personally picked us up from the airport with Jhonson and dropped us back at the end of our trip. She also gave us great tips on how to get around Arusha.
During the safari, the hotel mistakenly confused our names. Even though Evaline’s shift had already ended, we contacted her and she immediately fixed the issue. Thanks to her dedication, we had an amazing experience without any worries.
As for the price, it was excellent, very good value for the quality of service we received.

He make my journey unforgettable
joining the Journeymark is the best decision. Our guide David speak fluent English and he is very funny and answer all our questions. He also helps me take a lot of photos. Within a few days (we booked the 5-day safari), you will have an unforgettable impression of the flora and fauna. It's simply impressive how close you can get to the animals. Sometimes they are right next to the car.

We had some good and some average accomodations.
Unfortunatily there has been deviations from the proposal concerning the accommodations and we were not informed in advance neighter any compensation was offered (seems like the cheapter one was selected).
The car and the driver were ok.
Overall i would not want to do a safari with this operator again.

Once in a lifetime experience
We booked as a family visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli over 6 days. Liaising with Paul to arrange booking was very straightforward and boy did he deliver. Right from start of the safari we knew it was going to be one to remember, as we were picked up from our airport hotel and instantly felt at home with our guide Paul. We feel like we saw everything we wanted to see and more, as Paul had a way of getting us to the best viewpoint at exactly the right time and was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and surroundings. We were amazingly close to wild animals but at no time felt at risk, having lionesses walk past our jeep and stop to look in was particularly memorable. The accomodation, booked on our behalf as part of the package, just got better and better as the safari went on. Thank you to everyone at Ways Of Africa who made this a once in a lifetime trip which delivered in every way 5*.
